Transfiguration Church (Polish: Parafia Przemienienia Pańskiego w Cleveland), was a Catholic parish church in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States. Part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, it was located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Fullerton Avenue in a part of the South Broadway neighborhood previously known in Polish as Warszawa, also referred to today as Slavic Village. The church suffered a severe structure fire in 1990. The parish closed in 1992, and the church was demolished in early 1993.

Both the church and the area are GNIS named features. The church is in the neighborhood of, but not within, the area listed as Warszawa Neighborhood District on the National Register of Historic Places. The church, school, rectory, and convent buildings are listed together as a Cleveland Designated Landmark.The parish was founded in 1894.

The church, the neighborhood, and the larger surroundings are GNIS named features.The building itself, listed as St. Stanislaus Church, and the neighborhood, listed as Warszawa Neighborhood District, are both on the National Register of Historic Places.The church and school buildings are listed together as a Cleveland Designated Landmark.The Alliance of Poles on Broadway Avenue was allied with the St. Stanislaus Parish Community.

Broadway–Slavic Village is a neighborhood on the southeast side of Cleveland, Ohio. One of the city's oldest neighborhoods, it originated as the township of Newburgh, first settled in 1799. Much of the area has historically served as home to Cleveland's original Czech and Polish immigrants. While demographics have shifted over the decades, the largest part of Broadway today, Slavic Village, is named for these earlier communities.Broadway is bordered to the west and northwest by Cuyahoga Valley, to the north by the Central neighborhood, to the east by the neighborhoods of Union–Miles Park and Kinsman, the suburbs of Cuyahoga Heights and Newburgh Heights to the west and southwest and Garfield Heights to the south.

The Union Miles Development Corporation is a nonprofit community development corporation serving the Union-Miles Park statistical planning area in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States. Created in 1981 by the Union Miles Community Coalition, it was successful in drawing national attention to discriminatory practices in lending practices and won passage of an Ohio law reforming housing foreclosure procedures.

Sacred Heart of Jesus (Polish: Parafia pw. Najswietszego Serca Pana Jezusa w Cleveland), was a Catholic parish church in Cleveland, Ohio and part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland. It was located at the north-west corner of intersection of East 71st St. and Kazimier St., in a part of the South Broadway neighborhood previously known in Polish as na Krakowie and nicknamed Goosetown. Both the church building and the school building are GNIS named features. The church, school, and rectory buildings are listed together as a Cleveland Designated Landmark.The church was closed 2 May 2010.

The Broadway Avenue Historic District is a historic commercial district in the Broadway–Slavic Village neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States. The commercial district is the historic center of Cleveland's Czech community, and is an excellent example of a district that grew along a streetcar line. The historic district includes 43 buildings constructed between 1888 and 1930, including the Hruby Conservatory of Music and Our Lady of Lourdes Church and School. The commercial district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 19, 1988.

The Wade Park District is an historic district on the National Register of Historic Places, located in the University Circle neighborhood on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio. The district, which covers roughly 650 acres, is bounded by Chester Avenue and Euclid Avenue (which converge in a triangle) on the south, East Boulevard to the east and E. 105th Street to the west. The district, which includes seven separate buildings, features several of the city's cultural institutions, as well as the park of the same name.

The Hruby Conservatory of Music is a historic building completed in 1917 and located on Broadway Avenue in the Slavic Village area of Cleveland, Ohio. It was designed by the architectural firm of Steffens & Steffens as a music school for Frank and Fred Hruby, of the locally renowned musical Hruby Family. The style is considered Late 19th and 20th century Renaissance Revival.The two-story building housed the music school on the second floor. It had several studios for lessons and a formal concert recital hall. The first level was designed for retail stores. The school closed in 1968 after Frank and Fred retired from teaching.In 1976 the building was purchased by Dr. Nicholas Demmy and his wife Olean Demmy. The Demmys had the building restored and arranged for the facility to become the Broadway Branch of the Cleveland Music School Settlement. The school re-opened on October 2, 1980. In 1983 the school began operating as an independent non-profit called The Broadway School of Music and the Arts. Today the school continues to operate, however the building is owned by a private individual. The Hruby Conservatory of Music was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 29, 1979.

East 79th (signed as East 79th Street) is a station on the RTA Blue and Green Lines in Cleveland, Ohio. It is located on East 79th Street south of Holton Avenue.
