West Rasen is a village and civil parish in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated on the A631 road, and approximately 3 miles (5 km) west from Market Rasen. The population is included in the civil parish of Osgodby. The name 'Rasen' derives from the Old English ræsn meaning 'at the planks' probably indicating a bridge over the River Rasen.The parish church is a Grade I listed building dedicated to All Saints, dating from the 11th century, and built from ironstone. The font is 15th-century, and the former north aisle chapel was a chantry founded in 1373 for John Pouger and dissolved in 1548. The churchyard cross is 14th-century, although it was restored in the 19th century, and is both Grade II listed and a scheduled monument.Packhorse Bridge is a Grade II* ironstone listed bridge over the River Rase, which dates from the 15th century with 20th-century alterations. It consists of a narrow bridge with 3 arches and cobbled surface. It is a scheduled monument.The Post Office is a Grade II listed former cottage, now shop and house, dating from the late 17th century with 20th-century alterations and additions. It is likely to have been mud and stud originally, but is now underbuilt in red brick with a thatched roof.

Faldingworth is a village and civil parish in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated on the A46, and approximately 5 miles (8 km) south-west from Market Rasen. Spridlington parish lies to the west, and Friesthorpe parish to the south-east. Faldingworth parish covers just over 2,500 acres (10 km2). The 2001 census recorded a Faldingworth population of 253, increasing to 400 at the 2011 census.Faldingworth Grade II listed Anglican church, dedicated to All Saints, was rebuilt in 1818 and again in 1890. There is a foundation stone dated 1890 beneath the east chancel window. The church seats 150 people. The Anglican parish dates from 1549, and is currently part of the Middle Rasen Group of parishes. The village formerly had a Methodist chapel, though this has now closed.Faldingworth has a primary school serving the parishes of Faldingworth, Buslingthorpe, Newton, Freisthorpe and Snarford. A Council School was built in 1828, and was enlarged in 1876 and again in 1889.The village also has the Coach and Horses public house and a village hall; its post office and village shop have closed.RAF Faldingworth was used by Bomber Command during the Second World War, and although the station closed in 1972 parts of the airfield still exist. This was a Polish base, and a memorial to those who flew and failed to return is on the old airfield. There is also a memorial window and some memorabilia in the church.

Snarford is a village and civil parish in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated approximately 9 miles (14 km) north-east from the city and county town of Lincoln and 6 miles (10 km) south-west from the town of Market Rasen. It is in the civil parish of Friesthorpe. Snarford is listed in the Domesday Book of 1086 as "Snardesforde", with 18 households. The Grade I listed parish church is dedicated to Saint Lawrence and dates from the 12th century. It was altered and extended in the 13th and 14th centuries and restored in 1853. It contains a collection of monuments to Thomas St Paul and Sir George St Paul, 1st Baronet and also to Robert Rich, 1st Earl of Warwick. Snarford Hall, the seat of the St Paul family, no longer exists.The Hospital of Sir George St Paul is a registered charity of four almshouses for local "poor persons of good character" set up by Sir George St Paul.The Manor House is a Grade II listed limestone farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with 19th-century alterations.

Cold Hanworth is a village and civil parish in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated 8 miles (13 km) north-north-east from the city and county town of Lincoln, and just north of the A46. It is combined with Hackthorn to form the parish council of Hackthorn and Cold Hanworth. The cruciform church of All Saints was rebuilt in 1861, replacing one of medieval origin. The Grade II listed building was converted to a private house and renamed Old Church House in 1966. It has been disused since 1973. A further listed building is a farm cottage on Green Lane.At the south of the village are the earthwork remains of Cold Hanworth medieval village. This settlement was established in the 11th century but abandoned by the 18th.Cold Hanworth Forge is a working forge and blacksmithing school.

St Lawrence's Church is a redundant Anglican church in the parish of Snarford, Lincolnshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The church stands to the north of the A46 road between Market Rasen and Lincoln. It is a medieval building containing impressive 16th- and 17th-century monuments.

St Michael's Church is a redundant Anglican church in the hamlet of Buslingthorpe, Lincolnshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. It stands in an isolated position adjacent to a partly moated farm to the east of the A46 road. The church is notable for two mediaeval monuments to members of the Buslingthorpe family.

Friesthorpe is a settlement and civil parish in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. The population of the civil parish (including Snarford and Snelland) at the 2011 census was 204. It is situated 4 miles (6 km) south-west from the town of Market Rasen, 9 miles (14 km) north-east from the city and county town of Lincoln, and just east from the A46 road. Friesthorpe Grade II listed Anglican church is dedicated to St Peter. The church is of 13th-century origin, and was rebuilt in 1841 except for the tower.

Wickenby railway station was a station in Wickenby, Lincolnshire on the line between Lincoln and Grimsby, opened in 1848 and closed in 1965.
