Cathedral High School is a private Catholic high school in Indianapolis, Indiana. The school serves approximately 1,200 students in grades 9 to 12. The school was founded in Archdiocese of Indianapolis by Bishop Joseph Chartrand in 1918 and was run by the Brothers of Holy Cross until it became independent by the late 1970s. Holy Cross returned to the school in 2011.

Arlington High School was a comprehensive public high school located in Indianapolis, Indiana. It closed in 2018 but reopened in 2019 as Arlington Middle School.

Brendonwood Historic District, also known as Brendonwood Common, is a national historic district located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It encompasses 85 contributing buildings, 2 contributing sites, and 1 contributing object in a planned suburban residential section of Indianapolis. 350 acres on the eastern edge of Millersville with Fall Creek as the western boundary was the vision of Charles S. Lewis for a self-regulated residential zone of 110 plots. Noted landscape architect George E. Kessler was hired to develop the planned community. The district developed between about 1917 and 1954, and includes representative examples of Tudor Revival, Colonial Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture. Notable contributing resources include the Common House (1924), golf course, Two Knolls (1951-1952), Farlook (1939), Springhead (1934), Dearwald (1927), Wancroft (1940), Larkwing (1952), Grasmere (1937-1938), Wetermain (1921), Whispering Trees (1952-1953), Glen Gate (1922-1923), Witching View (1928-1929), Long Ridge (1923-1924) and Great Maple (1948).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

The Mozel Sanders Homes is a public housing development located on the near north-eastside of Indianapolis. Constructed in 1948, they were the heart of a once-flourishing, streetcar suburban neighborhood known as simply "The Meadows". Today, as of 2006, The Meadows is the most blighted neighborhood in Indianapolis and suffers from very severe urban decay and blight. All but seven of the original twenty-two buildings remain standing. The area has suffered from extraordinarily high crime, including (at one point in time) having the reputation of being the city's worst neighborhood. Several efforts have been made in turning the area in the right direction, starting with several federal grants, and the demolition of Parkwood Projects, formerly situated to the east of Mozel Sanders. The entire neighborhood is slated for demolition, and a new, urban renewal type of neighborhood will replace it, which will be similar in nature to Fall Creek Place, also in Indianapolis.

Hillcrest Country Club, also known as Avalon Country Club, is a historic country club located in suburban Lawrence Township, Marion County, Indiana, northeast of Indianapolis, Indiana. The 18 hole golf course was designed by Bill Diddel and was built in 1924. The clubhouse was built in 1929–1930, and renovated in 2000. It is a three-story, Mission Revival style with tall arched openings, and a low tile roof with bracketed eaves. Also on the property are the contributing swimming pool (1934), well house (c. 1940), and water pump (c. 1935).: 5–7 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Masjid Al Mu'mineen (Arabic: المَسْجِد المُؤمنِين, lit. The Mosque of the Believers) is a Sunni orthodox mosque located on the near east side of Indianapolis, Indiana. Established in 2001, it is the third Islamic place of worship founded in the city of Indianapolis and serves a weekly prayer congregation of 150-250 men, women, and children. Masjid Al Mu'mineen houses the SHARE (Services for Human Advancement and Resource Enhancement) Center Inc., which is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that acts as the mosque's community service arm. SHARE Center initiatives include an offender re-entry program called Siratal Mustaqeem (the Straight Path), a summer feeding program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture & Indiana Department of Education, and a food pantry that serves approximately 100 households per month.In 2015, the Shura Council voted unanimously to support the "ISNA Statement on Inclusion of Women in Masjids" created by the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). In 2018, a portion of CNN's This is Life documentary series by Lisa Ling was filmed at Masjid Al Mu'mineen in addition to a brief interview with the mosque's board chairman Imam Ismail Abdul-Aleem.

Skiles Test Nature Park, sometimes called Skiles Test Nature Area is a nature park on the northeast side of Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. It is in the northern trailhead of the Fall Creek Parkway and loved by hikers, bikers and nature enthusiasts. The land, originally owned by millionaire Skiles Test, was willed to Indianapolis after his death. His house is supposedly a haunted house known as the House of Blue Lights.Skiles Test, a local business man, lived on the property from 1913 to 1964. The property once had a miniature railway and a pool with bathhouses, elevators, and high dives.In 2010 Big Car organized series of site specific art installations in the park including works by Cindy Hinant, Nathan Monk, and Lukas Schooler.

The House Of Blue Lights was the name given to a house on the far northeast side of Indianapolis, Indiana, US. Decorated year round with blue Christmas lights, it was actually the home of eccentric Indianapolis millionaire Skiles Edward Test. It gained a reputation for being haunted and has become part of Indianapolis folklore.

Bishop Chatard High School is a Catholic co-educational preparatory high school located in the Broad Ripple district of Indianapolis, Indiana in the United States. It is named after Bishop Silas Chatard, who was the first Bishop of Indianapolis, and oversaw the movement of the diocese from Vincennes to Indianapolis in 1898.
