Prempeh College

Kumasi High School, often referred to as KUHIS, is a category A boys' senior high school in the Ashanti region of Ghana. It was established in 1962, by S. K. Amoah. The school is regarded as one of the best senior high schools in Ghana and the best business school in Ghana. They are the reigning champions of the inter-schools soccer competition in Ashanti Region, the current champions of Luvfm high school debate beating rivals Prempeh College in the finals. They are also the maiden champions of the USA ambassador business quiz and the 1st runners-up in Ashanti Regional Science and Maths quiz. They have produced a number of alumni. The students are known collectively as Mmerantee(Gentlemen).

Anane Boateng Sports Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Kumasi, built by Mr Kwabena Kess the C.E.O of Kessben Group of Companies Ghana at Abrankese near Kuntenase in the Bosomtwe District of Ashanti Region. It is used mostly for football matches and serve as a gathering grounds for thousands of people, mostly members of the Moments of Glory Prayer Army (MOGPA). The stadium is the home stadium of Medeama SC of the Ghana Premier League. The stadium holds 12,000 spectators and opened in 2007.

Suame Municipal District is one of the forty-three districts in Ashanti Region, Ghana. Originally it was a sub-metropolitan district council within the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly until 15 March 2018, when it was elevated to municipal district assembly status to become Suame Municipal District. The municipality is located in the central part of Ashanti Region and has Suame as its capital town.

The Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital also known as GEE for it heavy equipments (KATH) in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, Ghana, is the second-largest hospital in Ghana, and the only tertiary health institution in the Ashanti Region.

The Kumasi Nurses' Training College, now Kumasi Nursing and Midwifery Training College is public tertiary health institution in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The college is in the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly. The school is located at the premises of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi.

The West End Hospital is a 40-bed private health care facility in Kumasi, Ghana. It is popularly known as the "Kwakye-Maafo Hospital" because of its distinguished services in fertility, obstetrics and gynaecology by the founder, Dr. J.K. Kwakye-Maafo, a medical practitioner and former president of the Ghana Medical Association.

Adum is suburb of Kumasi. Kumasi is the regional capital of the Ashanti Region of Ghana. Adum is a commercial area with some residential areas. It is in the centre of the regional capital. Adum is a town in the Ashanti Region and it is the central business area of Kumasi. Adum is located between Bantama and Nhyiaso. Most people refer to Adum as Kumasi.

The mall is one of the biggest malls in West Africa. The property is owned by Delico Kumasi Limited, which is a fully owned subsidiary of Delico Property Investment Ghana limited, the same group that owns the Achimota Retail Center and is the Majority shareholder of West Hills Mall in Accra.

Kumasi (historically spelled Comassie or Coomassie, usually spelled Kumase in Twi language) is a city in the Ashanti Region, and is among the largest metropolitan areas in Ghana. Kumasi is located in a rain forest region near Lake Bosomtwe, and is the commercial, industrial, and cultural capital of the historical Ashanti Empire. Kumasi is approximately 500 kilometres (300 mi) north of the Equator and 200 kilometres (100 mi) north of the Gulf of Guinea. Kumasi is alternatively known as "The Garden City" because of its many species of flowers and plants in the past. It is also called Oseikrom, after Osei Kofi Tutu I who was a king in the Ashanti empire. Kumasi is the second-largest city in Ghana, after the capital, Accra. The Central Business District of Kumasi includes areas such as Adum, Bantama, Kejetia, Asawasi, Pampaso, and Bompata (popularly called Roman Hill), with a concentration of banks, department stalls, and hotels. Economic activities in Kumasi include financial and commercial sectors, pottery, clothing weaving, Weaving of basket and textiles. There is a significant timber processing community in Kumasi that serves the domestic market. Bantama High Street and Prempeh II Street in Bantama and Adum, respectively, are the business and entertainment hubs in Kumasi.
