Kumasi Senior High Technical School is a mixed co-educational institution in Patasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

Kwadaso Municipal District is one of the forty-three districts in Ashanti Region, Ghana. Originally it was a sub-metropolitan district council within the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly until 15 March 2018, when it was elevated to municipal district assembly status to become Kwadaso Municipal District. The municipality is located in the central part of Ashanti Region and has Kwadaso as its capital town.

The Kumasi Nurses' Training College, now Kumasi Nursing and Midwifery Training College is public tertiary health institution in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The college is in the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly. The school is located at the premises of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi.

Adum is suburb of Kumasi. Kumasi is the regional capital of the Ashanti Region of Ghana. Adum is a commercial area with some residential areas. It is in the centre of the regional capital. Adum is a town in the Ashanti Region and it is the central business area of Kumasi. Adum is located between Bantama and Nhyiaso. Most people refer to Adum as Kumasi.

The Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital also known as GEE for it heavy equipments (KATH) in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, Ghana, is the second-largest hospital in Ghana, and the only tertiary health institution in the Ashanti Region.

Kumasi High School, often referred to as KUHIS, is a category A boys' senior high school in the Ashanti region of Ghana. It was established in 1962, by S. K. Amoah. The school is regarded as one of the best senior high schools in Ghana and the best business school in Ghana. They are the reigning champions of the inter-schools soccer competition in Ashanti Region, the current champions of Luvfm high school debate beating rivals Prempeh College in the finals. They are also the maiden champions of the USA ambassador business quiz and the 1st runners-up in Ashanti Regional Science and Maths quiz. They have produced a number of alumni. The students are known collectively as Mmerantee(Gentlemen).

Prempeh College is a public secondary boarding school for boys located in Kumasi, the capital city of the Ashanti Region, Ghana. The school was founded in 1949 by the Asanteman traditional authority, the British Colonial Government, the Methodist Church Ghana and the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. The school is named after the King of Ashanti (Asantehene), Sir Osei Tutu Agyeman Prempeh II, who donated the land on which the school was built, and was modeled on Eton College in England.The school topped matriculation at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2004, with 441 students admitted, and in 2012, with 296 students from the college admitted. The school has won the National Robotics Championships a record five times between 2013 and 2021. In 2016, Prempeh College won the Toyota Innovation Award at the International Robofest World Championships held in Michigan, USA.

Anane Boateng Sports Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Kumasi, built by Mr Kwabena Kess the C.E.O of Kessben Group of Companies Ghana at Abrankese near Kuntenase in the Bosomtwe District of Ashanti Region. It is used mostly for football matches and serve as a gathering grounds for thousands of people, mostly members of the Moments of Glory Prayer Army (MOGPA). The stadium is the home stadium of Medeama SC of the Ghana Premier League. The stadium holds 12,000 spectators and opened in 2007.

St. Thomas Aquinas Senior High School is a Ghanaian public day senior high school for boys in the Osu district of Accra in the Greater Accra Region. This was established in 1952. The school is currently located in Cantonments, a suburb of Accra. It was established to provide education for boys of the Accra Archdiocese of the Catholic Church whose parents could not afford the cost of sending their male children to boarding school.

Opoku Ware School, often referred to as OWASS, is a public Catholic senior high school for boys, located in Santasi, a suburb of Kumasi, which is the capital of the Ashanti region of Ghana.

Wesley Methodist Cathedral is a Methodist cathedral located in Kumasi, Ghana. Wesley is the largest Methodist church in the area, and is the center of the episcopal area in Adum, Kumasi. The cathedral is named after John Wesley, one of the founders of the Methodist church.

The Ramseyer Memorial Presbyterian Church, originally named the Basel Mission Church, Kumasi and later the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, is a historic Protestant church located in the suburb of Adum in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The church is affiliated to the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. It was founded in 1896 by Fritz Ramseyer, a Swiss-born Basel missionary who was captured by the Asante in 1869. The stone church house was built by the early Basel missionaries led by the technical staff member and building technologist, Fritz Ramseyer as well as the missionary-architect, Karl Epting in 1907. Liturgy is conducted in English and the Asante Twi language.
