Comic Takaoka (Japanese: コミック高岡, Hepburn: Komikku Takaoka) was a manga and comic book store in Jinbōchō, Tokyo, Japan. Opened in 1880 as a general bookstore under the name Takaoka Shoten (Japanese: 高岡書店, Takaoka Bookstore), the store changed its name after it began selling manga exclusively in 1979. Comic Takaoka is noted as one of the first specialty manga bookstores and, prior to its closure in 2019, was one of the longest continually-operating manga bookstores in Japan.

Kanda-Jinbōchō (神田神保町), commonly known as Jinbōchō or Jimbōchō, is a district of Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, known as Tokyo's center of used-book stores and publishing houses, and as a popular antique and curio shopping area. The center of Jinbōchō is at the crossing of Yasukuni-dōri and Hakusan-dōri, above Jimbōchō Station on the Tokyo Metro Hanzōmon Line, Toei Mita Line and Toei Shinjuku Line. The prestigious Tokyo Book Binding Club and Literature Preservation Society are located in Jinbōchō, and the area is within walking distance of a number of major universities, including Nihon, Senshu, Meiji, Hosei and Juntendo. Jinbōchō is officially known (in addresses, etc.) as Kanda-Jinbōchō (神田神保町), and is part of the former ward of Kanda.

Jimbocho Station (神保町駅, Jinbōchō-eki) is a subway station located at the Jimbōchō intersection of the Hakusan and Yasukuni streets in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, operated jointly by Tokyo Metro and Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation (Toei).

Jinbōchō Theater (神保町シアター, Jinbōchō shiatā) is an arts complex comprising a theatre, cinema and rehearsal space owned and operated by publishing house Shogakukan in the Jinbōchō neighbourhood of Chiyoda, Tokyo. Nikken Sekkei were the architects.

Kyoritsu Women's Junior College (共立女子短期大学, Kyoritsu Joshi Tanki Daigaku) is a private junior Colleges in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. It is one of the 149 junior colleges in Japan set up in 1950 when the junior college system started. It consists of three departments now.

Meiji University (明治大学, Meiji Daigaku), abbreviated as Meiji (明治) or Meidai (明大), is a private research university located in the heart of Tokyo, Chiyoda City. Established in 1881 as Meiji Law School (明治法律学校, Meiji Hōritsu Gakkō) by three Meiji-era lawyers, Kishimoto Tatsuo, Miyagi Kōzō, and Yashiro Misao, Meiji University is one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions of higher learning in Japan. The university has a total of approximately 33,000 students on all four campuses around the Greater Tokyo Area: Surugadai, Izumi, Ikuta, and Nakano. Meiji is organized into 10 undergraduate, 12 graduate, 4 professional graduate schools; and operates 15 world-class research centers and a museum. The National Institute of Informatics (国立情報学研究所, Kokuritsu Jōhōgaku Kenkyūjo, NII) is a Japanese research institute located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. NII was established in April 2000 for the purpose of advancing the study of informatics. This institute also works on creating systems to facilitate the spread of scientific information to the general public. It oversees and maintains a large, searchable information database on a variety of scientific and non-scientific topics called Webcat. NII is the only comprehensive research institute in informatics in Japan. It is a major part of the Graduate University for Advanced Studies, SOKENDAI, and since 2002 has offered a Ph.D. program in informatics.

The Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy (大学院 国際企業戦略研究科, Daigakuin Kokusai Kigyō Senryaku Kenkyūka), also known as Hitotsubashi ICS, is the graduate business school of Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo, Japan. Hitotsubashi ICS was the first "professional graduate school" (formerly "specialized graduate school") established in Japan. The school was founded by Harvard Business School professor Hirotaka Takeuchi, its first dean, in 1998, and admitted students in 2000. ICS is housed in the National Center of Sciences and located at Chiyoda Campus, the birthplace of Hitotsubashi University, Chiyoda, Tokyo.

Kanda-Sarugakuchō (神田猿楽町) is a district of Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, consisting of 1-chōme and 2-chōme. As of March 1, 2007, its population is 656. Note that the Shibuya ward also has a district with the same name. Kanda-Sarugakuchō is located on the north part of Chiyoda. It borders Kanda-Surugadai to the north and east, Kanda-Ogawamachi to the south, Kanda-Misakichō, and Nishi-Kanda and Kanda-Jinbōchō to the west. The Kinka-dōri Ave forms its western boundary. A commercial district, Kanda-Sarugakuchō is also home to several educational institutions. The district has been renamed Kanda-Sarugakuchō, which had been used before the enforcement of the addressing system modernization.

Casals Hall (カザルスホール, Kazarusu Hōru) is a concert hall in Ochanomizu, Tokyo, Japan. It is named in honour of cellist Pau Casals. The hall opened in 1987 as a venue for chamber music and has a shoebox-style auditorium which seats 511. Arata Isozaki was the architect, with acoustic design by Nagata Acoustics. In 1997, for the tenth anniversary celebrations, a 41 stop organ by Jürgen Ahrend was installed.The hall had originally been owned and sponsored by publishers Shufunotomo Company (主婦の友社) but economic conditions resulted in the withdrawal of funding in 2000. In 2003 Nihon University acquired the Ochanomizu Square Building, of which the hall forms part, from the company. On 31 March 2010 the university closed the hall. A campaign has been launched to reopen the hall by the Save Casals Hall Committee, with pianist Iwasaki Shuku (岩崎淑) the chair and Marta Casals Istomin, Pablo Casals' widow, an honorary adviser.

Meiji University Museum (Japanese: 明治大学博物館（めいじだいがくはくぶつかん）, romanized: Meiji Daigaku Hakubutsukan) is a university museum run by Meiji University. It is located in Surugadai campus, and houses a crime museum, commercial goods museum, archaeology museum, and an exhibition of the university's history.
