Hangseshwari Temple

Ananta Basudeba temple is a temple of Lord Krishna in the Hangseshwari temple complex in Banshberia, in the Hooghly District in the Indian state of West Bengal. Built by Raja Rameswar Datta in 1679, this temple is noted for the exquisite terra cotta works on its walls. It is built in the traditional eka-ratna style, with curved cornices. The tower on top of the temple is octagonal. The terracota works depict stories from the great Indian epics Ramayana and Mahabharata, as well as from lilas of Krishna.

Bansberia Ganges High School is a school situated in Bansberia in Hooghly district in the state of West Bengal, India near Bandel railway station. The school's foundation was laid in 1992. It is about 45 km (28 mi) away from Kolkata, at the western end of the Iswar Gupta Setu (Kalyani-Bansberia) Bridge. The Second Ishwar Gupta Setu is an under-construction extradosed cable-stayed bridge spanning the Hooghly River, connecting Kalyani in Nadia district with Bansberia in Hooghly district. The bridge is being constructed to the design of Rail India Technical and Economic Services. It is part of Kalyani Expressway.The concept of building a bridge across the Hooghly River was conceived in 2016. The original plan was to build a bridge as an alternative to the old Ishwar Gupta Bridge, which would connect Delhi Road and State Highway 6 with Kalyani Expressway and National Highway 12. The pylons of the bridge will lean outward from the deck, and they will be constructed using concrete. The deck of the bridge consists of 7 spans.

Ishwar Gupta Setu (Bengali: ঈশ্বর গুপ্ত সেতু) is a 1,056.25 m (3,465.4 ft) long road bridge that crosses the Hooghly River in Bansberia, Hooghly and Kalyani, Nadia in West Bengal. Kalyani Expressway crosses the bridge connecting National Highway 12 with National Highway 19.
