Bansberia Ganges High School is a school situated in Bansberia in Hooghly district in the state of West Bengal, India near Bandel railway station. The school's foundation was laid in 1992. It was formed with the help of the local people and workers of Bansberia Ganges Jute Mill and with the help of the mill owner who gave the land and money necessary to raise the building for school. Mr. Rabindra Nath Tiwari is the headmaster of the school. Considering demand for establishing school surrounding Bansberia Ganges Jute Mill area local people had established two schools one in Hindi medium and another in partly Urdu & partly Telugu. Professor Narayan Ch Ghosh, Mathematician was associated with both the attempt as he was trade union leader there. Later Bansberia Ganges High School was established to cater students of noted schools. Ananta Basudeba temple is a temple of Lord Krishna in the Hangseshwari temple complex in Banshberia, in the Hooghly District in the Indian state of West Bengal. Built by Raja Rameswar Datta in 1679, this temple is noted for the exquisite terra cotta works on its walls. It is built in the traditional eka-ratna style, with curved cornices. The tower on top of the temple is octagonal. The terracota works depict stories from the great Indian epics Ramayana and Mahabharata, as well as from lilas of Krishna.

Hangseswari temple (also spelled as Hanseswari temple) is a Hindu ratna temple located in the town of Bansberia at Hooghly District, West Bengal, India. The presiding deity of the temple is Hangseswari, a form of Maa adi parashakti jagatjanani dakshina Kali in Hindu mythology. In December 1799, Raja Nrisinhadeb Roy Mahasay laid the foundation stone of this temple. But after completion of the second storey in 1802, the founder died leaving this far-famed temple incomplete. His second wife Rani Sankari completed the rest of the work in 1814. The temple is known for its unique ratna architecture. Bansberia is an industrial town positioned in between Bandel and Tribeni. Rani Hanseswari was the mother of Raja Nrisingha Deb Roy, hence the deity is worshipped as Maa Hanseswari. The deity is worshipped as a form of Maa Kali in Hindu mythology. The temple complex has another temple — Ananta Basudeba temple — besides the main temple. Also near is the Swanbhaba Kali temple built by Raja Nrisinha Deb Roy Mahasay in 1788. The Hanseswari temple has a distinctive architecture different from the usual pattern present in this area, consisting 13 minars or Ratnas, each built as a blooming lotus bud. The inner structure of the building resembles human anatomy. It was started by Raja Nrisingha Deb Roy Mahasay and later completed by his widow wife Rani Sankari in 1814. The architecture of the temples is the representation of "Tantrik Satchakrabhed". The structure tells about the structure of a human body, because the five storied temple is like the five parts of the human body, namely, Bajraksha, Ira, Chitrini, Pingala and Sushumna.

The Second Ishwar Gupta Setu is an under-construction extradosed cable-stayed bridge spanning the Hooghly River, connecting Kalyani in Nadia district with Bansberia in Hooghly district. The bridge is being constructed to the design of Rail India Technical and Economic Services. It is part of Kalyani Expressway.The concept of building a bridge across the Hooghly River was conceived in 2016. The original plan was to build a bridge as an alternative to the old Ishwar Gupta Bridge, which would connect Delhi Road and State Highway 6 with Kalyani Expressway and National Highway 12. The pylons of the bridge will lean outward from the deck, and they will be constructed using concrete. The deck of the bridge consists of 7 spans.

Ishwar Gupta Setu (Bengali: ঈশ্বর গুপ্ত সেতু) is a 1,056.25 m (3,465.4 ft) long road bridge that crosses the Hooghly River in Bansberia, Hooghly and Kalyani, Nadia in West Bengal. Kalyani Expressway crosses the bridge connecting National Highway 12 with National Highway 19.

Bansh Baria (Indian Railway Station code – BSAE) or Bansberia railway station is railway station on Bandel–Katwa line, in Bengal, India connecting from Bandel to Katwa, and under the jurisdiction of Howrah railway division of Eastern Railway zone. It is situated at Bansberia, Hooghly district in the Indian state of West Bengal. The distance between Howrah and Bansberia railway station is approximately 44 km.

Saptagram (colloquially called Satgaon) was an ancient major port, the chief city and sometimes capital of southern Bengal, in ancient and medieval times of Bengal, the location presently being in the Hooghly district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is an old holy place for the Hindus, the sanctity of which has been recognized for many centuries and had been mentioned in Pavanaduta, a Sanskrit piece of the last quarter of the 12th century. The Muslims took it over during early phases of their conquest of Bengal, also referred to as Turkish conquest in the thirteenth century. The place retains its holiness for multiple centuries, primarily due to the rivers it hosted, corroborated by records of the bathers at different timelines, who thronged during the festival of Makar Sankranti. Of the many odes written on the Ganges in various Indian languages.

Tribeni railway station is railway station on Bandel–Katwa line connecting from Bandel (8 km (5.0 mi) from Bandel) to Katwa, and under the jurisdiction of Howrah railway division (48 km (30 mi) from hwh) of Eastern Railway zone. It is situated at Station Road, Masterpara, Tribeni, Hooghly district in the Indian state of West Bengal. There is also a single line connecting Tribeni to Mogra which is only used for goods trains.
