The Rosengartenspitze (Italian Cima Catinaccio, Ladin Ciadenac) is a mountain in the Dolomites in South Tyrol, Italy.

The Kesselkogel (Italian: Catinaccio d'Antermoia) is the highest mountain of the Rosengarten group in the Dolomites in South Tyrol, Italy.

The Rosengarten group (Italian: Catinaccio [katiˈnattʃo], Ladin: Ciadenac, Ciadenáze) is a massif in the Dolomites of northern Italy. It is located between the Tierser Tal and Eggental in South Tyrol and the Fassa Valley in Trentino. One peculiarity of the Rosengarten is the pink shade, owing to the presence of the mineral dolomite, which takes in the sunset and "glows", as celebrated in the Bozner Bergsteigerlied. Meaning "Rose garden" in German, the name refers to the legend of King Laurin and his Rose Garden, a traditional story explaining the outer appearance of the mountain range.

The Nigerpass (Italian: Passo Nigra; German: Nigerpass) (1688 m) is a high mountain pass in the Dolomites in the province of South Tyrol in Italy. It connects the Tierser Tal with the Karerpass. The pass lies below the Rosengarten massif and borders on the Schlern Nature Preserve. The pass road was built in 1957 and has a maximum grade of 24%, making it the steepest pass in Italy. It is nevertheless open year-round.

The Karerpass (Italian: Passo di Costalunga; Ladin: Jouf de Ciareja; German: Karerpass) (1745 m) is a high mountain pass in the province of South Tyrol in Italy. It connects Bolzano through the Eggental and the Welschnofen Valley with the Fassa Valley. Just below the pass on the Welschnofen Valley side is the Karersee lake. It is connected to the Tierser Tal by the Nigerpass.

In the census of 2001, 921 inhabitants out of 1,073 (85.8%) declared Ladin as their native language.

Pozza di Fassa (Ladin: Poza (de Fascia), German: Potzach im Fasstal) is a frazione of Sèn Jan di Fassa in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northeast of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,867 and an area of 73.2 square kilometres (28.3 mi2). The frazione of Pozza di Fassa contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Pera di Fassa and Monzon. Pozza di Fassa borders the following municipalities: Canazei, Tiers, Mazzin, Welschnofen, Rocca Pietore, Vigo di Fassa, Moena and Soraga. In the census of 2001, 1,587 inhabitants out of 1,787 (88.8%) declared Ladin as their native language.

San Giovanni di Fassa (in ladin: Sèn Jan) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. It was formed on 1 January 2018 after the merger of the former comuni of Pozza di Fassa and Vigo di Fassa. It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy").

The Schlern (German pronunciation: [ʃlɛrn]; Italian: Sciliar [ʃiˈljar]; Ladin: Sciliër; 2,563 m) is a mountain of the Dolomites in South Tyrol, Italy. The peak at the north west end of the mountain (left, in the image at right) was first ascended in July 1880 by Johann Santner. It is named the Santner Spitze in his honour. The Schlern dominates the villages of Seis am Schlern and Völs am Schlern, and the summit can be reached following the circular route marked with the number 1 from both villages. At 1,700 metres (5,577 ft), there is the Schlernboden inn and on the summit plateau is the Schlernhaus inn 2,457 metres (8,061 ft), both open from 1 June to 15 October. The highest summit is the Petz with 2,564 metres (8,412 ft). The Schlern is sung of in the Bozner Bergsteigerlied as one of South Tyrol's landmarks. Its characteristic profile appears on the Der Schlern - Zeitschrift für Südtiroler Landeskunde (Magazine for South Tyrolean Regional Studies) and the logo pressed into Loacker's wafer biscuits.

Soraga di Fassa (Ladin: Soraga or Soréga) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northeast of Trento. Soraga borders the following municipalities: Sèn Jan di Fassa, Falcade and Moena. In the census of 2001, 574 inhabitants out of 673 (85.3%) declared Ladin as their native language.
