Aldeno is a comune in Trentino in north Italy.

Cimone (Zimón in local dialect) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 10 kilometres (6 mi) southwest of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 599 and an area of 9.8 square kilometres (3.8 sq mi).Cimone borders the following municipalities: Trento, Garniga Terme, Cavedine, Aldeno, Villa Lagarina, and Pomarolo.

Mattarello is a small town in Trentino, Italy. It has been subsumed into a frazione of the comune of Trento, having previously been an independent comune. It has a population of 6,226.Mattarello is the site of the interdepartmental research centre CIBIO(Centre for Integrative Biology, part of the University of Trento), which applies cross-disciplinary approaches to the study of basic biological processes and their derangement in disease. Trento airport is near the town, and adjacent the airport is the Museo dell'Aeronautica Gianni Caproni (Gianni Caproni Museum of Aeronautics), an aeronautical museum named in honour of engineer, aircraft designer and businessman Gianni Caproni, whose company made the first aircraft constructed in Italy. Mattarello is also the Italian word for rolling pin.

Trento-Mattarello Airport (Italian: Aeroporto di Trento-Mattarello; ICAO: LIDT), also known as Aeroporto G.Caproni, is an airfield located at Trentino, 3.4 NM (6.3 km; 3.9 mi) south of Trento, Italy. The airport is at an elevation of 610 feet (186 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 18/36 with an asphalt surface measuring 1,130 by 30 metres (3,707 ft × 98 ft).

The Viote Alpine Botanical Garden (Giardino Botanico Alpino Viote) (10 hectares) is an alpine botanical garden operated by the Museo tridentino di scienze naturali, and located in Viotte di Monte Bondone, southwest of Trento, Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, Italy. It is open daily in the warmer months; an admission fee is charged. The garden was established in 1938, damaged in World War II, and renewed in 1958. Plants are grouped in beds by areas of origin, such as the Pyrenees, the Alps, the Apennines, the Balkans, Carpathians, Caucasus, the Americas, and the Himalayas. American genera include Arnica, Eriophyllum, Lewisia, Liatris, Phlox, Penstemon, and Silphium; Himalayan genera include Androsace, Gentiana, Incarvillea, Leontopodium, Meconopsis, Potentilla, and Veronica. Species of particular interest include Artemisia petrosa, Daphne petraea, Ephedra helvetica, Fritillaria tubaeformis, Linaria tonzigi, Paederota bonarota, Rhizobotrya alpina, Sanguisorba dodecandra, Saxifraga arachnoidea, Saxifraga tombeanensis, Scabiosa vestina, Silene elisabethae, and Viola dubyana. The garden also includes a nature trail (1000 meters) through indigenous vegetation, including Drosera rotundifolia and Pinguicula vulgaris.

Monte Bondone is a mountain of Trentino, northern Italy, located west of the provincial capital of Trento. It has an elevation of 2,180 metres (7,152 ft) and includes a ski resort on one side. It is the highest mountain of the Garda Prealps and with a prominence of 1,685 metres (5,528 ft) qualifies as an Ultra. It lies between the Etschtal valley in the east and the Sarca valley in the west. Due to its location high above the city, it is often called the mountain of Trento.

Il T Quotidiano Arena (formerly known as PalaTrento) is an indoor arena that is located in Trento, Italy. The arena is mainly used to host volleyball, basketball, futsal, and concerts. The capacity of the arena is 4,360, with 3,569 of the seats being upper tier box seating, and 791 of the seats being lower tier retractable seating.The arena includes a gym for gymnastics, a fencing area, a judo hall, a weight lifting room, a sports bar, a medical infirmary, and an interview room.

The Battle of Calliano on 6 and 7 November 1796 saw an Austrian corps commanded by Paul Davidovich rout a French division directed by Claude Belgrand de Vaubois. The engagement was part of the third Austrian attempt to relieve the French siege of Mantua during the French Revolutionary Wars. The battle was preceded by a clash at Cembra on 2 November and followed by actions at Rivoli Veronese on 17 and 21 November.

The Museo delle Scienze (MUSE) is a science museum in Trento, Italy. The museum was designed by architect Renzo Piano and opened in 2013.

Palazzo delle Albere is a Renaissance villa-fortress in Trento, northern Italy. It was built during the 16th century by the Madruzzo family of prince-bishops of Trento. It takes its name (meaning "Palace of the Trees") from the rows of poplars that once led to the castle; it is surrounded by a park, now smaller than once because it is crossed by the Brenner Railway and partly occupied by the Trento Monumental Cemetery. It has a square plan, with four square, 6 m-wide and 20 m tall corner towers, surrounded by a ditch. In the Great Hall, on the second floor, were once frescoes celebrating emperor Charles V's deeds. Still visible are instead the depictions of the 12 months. The third floor has also kept numerous Renaissance frescoes, depicting imaginary landscapes with ruins and castles, as well as the seven Liberal arts, the four Cardinal virtues and the three Theological virtues. According to legend, it was connected by a secret tunnel to the city's cathedral, which was used by the prince-bishops move unseen between them.From 1987 to 2011, Palazzo delle Albere was the seat of the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto (MART).
