Aldeno is a comune in Trentino in north Italy.

Garniga Terme (Garniga in local dialect, German: Garnich) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 8 kilometres (5 mi) southwest of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 364 and an area of 13.1 square kilometres (5.1 sq mi).Garniga Terme borders the following municipalities: Trento, Cimone and Aldeno.

The Viote Alpine Botanical Garden (Giardino Botanico Alpino Viote) (10 hectares) is an alpine botanical garden operated by the Museo tridentino di scienze naturali, and located in Viotte di Monte Bondone, southwest of Trento, Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, Italy. It is open daily in the warmer months; an admission fee is charged. The garden was established in 1938, damaged in World War II, and renewed in 1958. Plants are grouped in beds by areas of origin, such as the Pyrenees, the Alps, the Apennines, the Balkans, Carpathians, Caucasus, the Americas, and the Himalayas. American genera include Arnica, Eriophyllum, Lewisia, Liatris, Phlox, Penstemon, and Silphium; Himalayan genera include Androsace, Gentiana, Incarvillea, Leontopodium, Meconopsis, Potentilla, and Veronica. Species of particular interest include Artemisia petrosa, Daphne petraea, Ephedra helvetica, Fritillaria tubaeformis, Linaria tonzigi, Paederota bonarota, Rhizobotrya alpina, Sanguisorba dodecandra, Saxifraga arachnoidea, Saxifraga tombeanensis, Scabiosa vestina, Silene elisabethae, and Viola dubyana. The garden also includes a nature trail (1000 meters) through indigenous vegetation, including Drosera rotundifolia and Pinguicula vulgaris.

Monte Bondone is a mountain of Trentino, northern Italy, located west of the provincial capital of Trento. It has an elevation of 2,180 metres (7,152 ft) and includes a ski resort on one side. It is the highest mountain of the Garda Prealps and with a prominence of 1,685 metres (5,528 ft) qualifies as an Ultra. It lies between the Etschtal valley in the east and the Sarca valley in the west. Due to its location high above the city, it is often called the mountain of Trento.

Nomi is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 15 kilometres (9 mi) south of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,298 and an area of 6.5 square kilometres (2.5 sq mi).Nomi borders the following municipalities: Aldeno, Besenello, Calliano, Pomarolo and Volano.

The Battle of Calliano on 6 and 7 November 1796 saw an Austrian corps commanded by Paul Davidovich rout a French division directed by Claude Belgrand de Vaubois. The engagement was part of the third Austrian attempt to relieve the French siege of Mantua during the French Revolutionary Wars. The battle was preceded by a clash at Cembra on 2 November and followed by actions at Rivoli Veronese on 17 and 21 November.

Calliano (Caliam or Calian in local dialect) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 15 kilometres (9 mi) south of Trento. Calliano borders the following municipalities: Besenello, Nomi, Folgaria, Volano, and Rovereto.

Pomarolo (Pomaròl in local dialect) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino located around 15 kilometres (9 mi) southwest of Trento in the northern Italian region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol.

Mattarello is a small town in Trentino, Italy. It has been subsumed into a frazione of the comune of Trento, having previously been an independent comune. It has a population of 6,226.Mattarello is the site of the interdepartmental research centre CIBIO(Centre for Integrative Biology, part of the University of Trento), which applies cross-disciplinary approaches to the study of basic biological processes and their derangement in disease. Trento airport is near the town, and adjacent the airport is the Museo dell'Aeronautica Gianni Caproni (Gianni Caproni Museum of Aeronautics), an aeronautical museum named in honour of engineer, aircraft designer and businessman Gianni Caproni, whose company made the first aircraft constructed in Italy. Mattarello is also the Italian word for rolling pin.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,851 and an area of 10.8 square kilometres (4.2 sq mi).Volano borders the following municipalities: Calliano, Pomarolo, Nomi and Rovereto.

Trento-Mattarello Airport (Italian: Aeroporto di Trento-Mattarello; ICAO: LIDT), also known as Aeroporto G.Caproni, is an airfield located at Trentino, 3.4 NM (6.3 km; 3.9 mi) south of Trento, Italy. The airport is at an elevation of 610 feet (186 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 18/36 with an asphalt surface measuring 1,130 by 30 metres (3,707 ft × 98 ft).

Castellano (German: Kastellein) is a little village which is a frazione of the municipality of Villa Lagarina in Trentino. It was the most important village of the Feudo of Castellano and during the Austria-Hungary period was the site of the Comune di Castellano, abolished in 1929. It is famous for its ancient castle (Castle of Castellano) which became very important under the Lodron and in World War I because it became an Austrian fortress. Not far from there is a little Lake, Lago di Cei, which was very much loved by Elisabeth of Bavaria.
