CELSA is a French communication and journalism school (grande école) located in the West of Paris, (Neuilly-sur-Seine) and is part of the Sorbonne University. The name CELSA is an acronym for the French phrase 'Centre d'études littéraires et scientifiques appliquées', i.e. Centre for Applied Literary and Scientific Studies. Founded in 1965, the school has designed a curriculum which offers students a wide range of classes in the information and communications sciences and associated professions, along with courses in the humanities and social sciences. CELSA Paris was ranked the top French school in communication in 2011, in 2013 and 2014. Its program in advertising and journalism are also ranked first. The school is highly selective.Approximately 700 students attend classes at CELSA and obtain degrees in journalism, corporate communications, intercultural management, marketing and advertising, human resource management, and multimedia studies. CELSA's faculty is a combination of academics from the Sorbonne University and professionals from a variety of business sectors. Faculty members use a variety of teaching methods including case studies, lecture/discussions, team projects, simulation exercises and independent studies. The school has close connections to companies in France. Its Office of Career Services provides students with a range of internships and job offers. There are over 2500 offers of internships and jobs from companies and other organisations on the CELSA web site for students to choose from. Many students are hired by the company, agency or regional authority where they do their final internship. The Alumni Association organises monthly meetings and other events and publishes a directory of its 800 members.

Marymount International School Paris in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France is an international school in the Paris metropolitan area and is part of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary network of Marymount schools. The history of Marymount Paris can be traced back to 1846 when Father Jean Gailhac founded an order of Sisters in Béziers in the south of France. The objective, considered a progressive idea at that time, was the education of young women. Schools eventually opened in Portugal, England, Ireland and the United States. When Marymount College was opened in Tarrytown, New York in 1908, the founder's new vision was to educate from an international perspective. Study abroad centers were then established in London, Paris and Rome. Marymount Paris opened on September 30, 1923 in town of Neuilly-sur-Seine, just outside Paris. Today, Marymount International School Paris provides an international curriculum, in English and French, to students aged 2 to 14.

The Île de la Jatte or Île de la Grande Jatte is an island in the river Seine, located in the department of Hauts-de-Seine, and shared between the two communes of Neuilly-sur-Seine and Levallois. It is situated at the very gates of Paris, being 7 km distant (in a straight line) from the towers of Notre Dame and 3 km from the Place de l'Étoile. The island, which has about 4,000 inhabitants, is nearly 2 km long and almost 200 m wide at its widest point. Its name translates as "Island of the Bowl" or "Island of the Big Bowl". It is best known as the setting for Georges Seurat's pointillist oil painting A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte (1884-1886), itself the inspiration for the musical Sunday in the Park with George (1984).

The Compagnies républicaines de sécurité (French: [kɔ̃paɲi ʁepyblikɛn də sekyʁite], Republican Security Corps), abbreviated CRS, are the general reserve of the French National Police. They are primarily involved in general security missions but the task for which they are best known is crowd and riot control. There are 60 "general service" CRS companies, specialized in public order and crowd control, nine "motorway" companies (French: Compagnies autoroutières) specialized in highway patrol in urban areas and six "zonal" motorcycle units (one per Defense zone.) Two additional companies and several mountain detachments administratively attached to local companies specialize in Mountain Rescue. One company (CRS n°1) specializes in VIP escort. The National Police band is also a CRS unit.Some of the CRS officers from the "general service" compagnies are cross trained and serve as lifeguards on the beaches during the summer vacations. The expression "les CRS" refers to the whole force. The feminine singular "une CRS" means a company (the noun compagnie is feminine), but the masculine singular "un CRS" is often used to mean "a CRS man"; the press and laypeople frequently use "CRS" to mean any policeman in riot gear and wearing a helmet, whether he is a true CRS or a policeman or a gendarme mobile. The form "trois CRS" in theory means three companies, but is often used to mean three men.

Palais des sports Marcel-Cerdan is a multi-purpose indoor sports arena that is located in Levallois, Paris, France. It is primarily used to host basketball games. The arena is named after the French boxer Marcel Cerdan. The arena has a seating capacity of 4,000.

Neuilly-sur-Seine (French pronunciation: [nøji syʁ sɛn] (listen); literally 'Neuilly on Seine'), also known simply as Neuilly, is a commune in the department of Hauts-de-Seine in France, just west of Paris. Immediately adjacent to the city, the area is composed of mostly select residential neighbourhoods, as well as many corporate headquarters and a handful of foreign embassies. It is the wealthiest and most expensive suburb of Paris.Together with the 16th and 7th arrondissement of Paris, the town of Neuilly-sur-Seine forms the most affluent and prestigious residential area in the whole of France. It has the 2nd highest average household income in France, at €112,504 per year (in 2020).

The Lycée Pasteur (French: Lycée Pasteur de Neuilly-sur-Seine) is a French state-run secondary school in Neuilly-sur-Seine, on the outskirts of Paris. It accepts students from collège (the first four years of secondary education in France) through to classes préparatoires (classes to prepare students for entrance to the elite Grandes écoles). Built in the grounds of the former chateau de Neuilly, the lycée is named in honour of Louis Pasteur. It was originally planned to open in October 1914 but with the advent of the First World War the building was instead used as a military hospital by American Field Services and not inaugurated until October 1923. It was used as the location for the film, Neuilly sa mère !

Operated by the Spanish Ministry of Education, the school has secundaria obligatoria (required lower secondary school) courses and bachillerato (Spanish baccalaureate, non-compulsory) education.The Colegio Español Federico García Lorca, the Paris-area Spanish international primary school, is located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.

20 minutes (pronounced [vɛ̃ minyt] vingt minutes) is a free, daily newspaper aimed at commuters in France. It is published by Rossel and Ouest-France Group. 20 minutos, the Spanish version, is distributed by Schibsted and Zeta in Spain. In Switzerland, the French-language edition 20 minutes and the German-language edition 20 Minuten are published by Tamedia. Rossel noted that the news outlet had 22.4 million monthly users while ratings firm Médiamétrie reported in 2017 that it received 16 million unique users per month. In Greater Paris, Ipsos and CESP confirmed a circulation of 805,000 with a readership of 2,339,000. 20 minutes claims that its readers are "young urban citizens (15–40 years old) that to a lesser extent consume traditional newspapers." The French 20 minutes was launched in Paris on 15 March 2002, and spread to 11 other urban areas of France, including, in order of size, the cities of Marseille, Lyon, Toulouse, Nice, Nantes, Strasbourg, Montpellier, Bordeaux, Lille, Rennes and Grenoble. Each edition includes both national pages and regional sections. Since its launch, 20 minutes has led the market of free French newspapers. In March 2014, due to the fall of advertising revenues (-6% en 2013), TF1 and Bolloré, owners of 20 minutes' competitors —Metronews and Direct Matin—, announced their willingness to buy 20 minutes and merge their activities. The name 20 minutes refers to the amount of time it should take one to read this daily newspaper.
