CIRA (Centre International de Recherches sur l'Anarchisme) is an anarchist archive, infoshop and library of anarchist material in different languages based in Lausanne, Switzerland with other branches in Marseille and Fujinomiya, Japan.

Chailly is a neighbourhood in the city of Lausanne, Switzerland. Located in the north of the city, it is populated by many young people, and is rich in different cultures. It is also known for the École nouvelle de la Suisse romande, a private school of high reputation. The place is the subject of a painting by French impressionist Frédéric Bazille (1841-1870), titled Landscape at Chailly

The Tour de Sauvabelin (literally "Tower of Sauvabelin") is a wooden tower located in the Sauvabelin forest, Lausanne, Switzerland. The tower was built in 2003 and is 35 meters high by Julius Natterer. It provides with panoramic view on the city of Lausanne, the Lake Léman and the surrounding countryside and mountains.

École Nouvelle de la Suisse Romande (English: New School of the French-speaking Switzerland) or ENSR International School is a private, co-educational boarding school, founded in 1906 and located in Lausanne, Switzerland. It has approximately 600 students and boarding facilities for students aged 12 and above. It is a secular school with educational programmes from kindergarten to the final year of high school offering a programme in French with English or a programme in English with French. Lac de Sauvabelin (literally "Lake of Sauvabelin") is an artificial lake in the Sauvabelin forest, above Lausanne, Switzerland. The city of Lausanne authorized the construction of the lake in 1888.

École française de Lausanne-Valmont is a Catholic French international school in Lausanne, Switzerland. It serves levels maternelle (preschool) through terminale, the final year of lycée (sixth form college/senior high school). The Marcelline Sisters of Milan established the school in 1963. As of 2016 it has over 400 students.
