Robassomero is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Turin. As of 1-1-2017, it had a population of 3,093 and an area of 8.58 square kilometres (3.31 sq mi).Robassomero borders the following municipalities: Nole, Cirié, Fiano, San Maurizio Canavese, Caselle Torinese, Druento, and Venaria Reale. Robassomero is the first nuclear-free municipality (1981): the first in Italy. On 17 November 1981 the City Council approved a resolution from the highly symbolic Robassomero stated that "nuclear-free zone" or area where it is forbidden to install nuclear weapons and nuclear power plants. This is for promoting peace among peoples, to use the resources of the planet to combat world hunger and protect the environment using renewable energy as an alternative to nuclear power. Since then, he started a broad movement across Italy against war and against nuclear danger that led to the denuclearization of many communities and cities. Collegno (Italian: Stazione di Collegno) is a railway station in Collegno. The station is located on the Turin-Modane railway. The train services are operated by Trenitalia. This station will serve as a future interchange with the Turin Metro when Line 1 is extended to Cascine Vica in 2023.

The Castle of Rivoli is a former Residence of the Royal House of Savoy in Rivoli (Metropolitan City of Turin, Italy). It is currently home to the Castello di Rivoli – Museo d'Arte Contemporanea, the museum of contemporary art of Turin. In 1997, it was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list along with 13 other residences of the House of Savoy.

Fermi is a Turin Metro station, located in the Turin suburb of Collegno, near the intersection between Via Edmondo De Amicis and Via Enrico Fermi. Being the westerly terminus of Line 1, there is an adjacent park and ride lot with more than 300 spaces and connecting bus service from Rivoli. The station was opened on 4 February 2006 as the western terminus of the inaugural section of Turin Metro, between Fermi and XVIII Dicembre.

Turin-Aeritalia Airport (Italian: Aeroporto di Torino-Aeritalia, ICAO: LIMA) also known as Edoardo Agnelli Airport, built in 1916, is the historical airport of Turin in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It is located off Corso Marche, some 5 km (3 mi) to the west of the city centre. Commercial flights moved to Turin Caselle Airport in 1953 and today Torino-Aeritalia is used for tourist flights and as a flying school, both for gliding and powered flight. There is also a helipad for the use of air ambulances. One of the airport's buildings was redesigned in 1958 by the Torinese architect Carlo Mollino.

The Palace of Venaria (Italian: Reggia di Venaria Reale) is a former royal residence and gardens located in Venaria Reale, near Turin in the Piedmont region in northern Italy. It is one of the Residences of the Royal House of Savoy, included in the UNESCO Heritage List in 1997. The Palace was designed and built from 1675 by Amedeo di Castellamonte, commissioned by duke Charles Emmanuel II, who needed a base for his hunting expeditions in the heathy hill country north of Turin. The name itself derives from Latin, Venatio Regia meaning "Royal Hunt". It was enlarged to become a luxurious residence for the House of Savoy. The palace complex became a masterpiece of Baroque architecture and was filled with decoration and artwork. It fell into disuse at the end of the 18th century. After the Napoleonic wars, it was used for military purposes until 1978, when its renovation began, leading to the largest restoration project in European history. It opened to the public on October 13, 2007, and it has since become a major tourist attraction and exhibition space. It is noted for its monumental architecture and Baroque interiors by Filippo Juvarra, including the Galleria Grande and its marble decorations, the chapel of Saint Uberto, and its extensive gardens. It received 1,048,857 visitors in 2017, making it the sixth most visited museum in Italy.

Monte Musinè or simply Musinè (in Piedmontese mont Musinè) is a mountain in the Graian Alps in the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont, north Italy. Musinè is well known for the high cross on its peak, as well as for being the mountain closest to Turin. It is visible from the Piedmontese plateau and from the mountains in the provinces of Biella and Vercelli.

Grugliasco (Italian: [ɡruʎˈʎasko]; Piedmontese: Grujasch [ɡryˈjɑsk] (listen)) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Turin in the Italian region of Piedmont, located about 9 kilometres (6 miles) west of Turin. Grugliasco borders the municipalities of Turin, Collegno, and Rivoli. In 1945 here and in Collegno members of the retreating German 34th Infantry Division and 5th Mountain Division killed 68 civilians in retaliation for a partisan ambush.

La Mandria Regional Park is a park in the comuni of Venaria Reale and Druento, near Turin, northern Italy. Founded in 1978 by the regional council of Piedmont, it occupies a wide area between the Stura di Lanzo torrent and the north-western part of Turin and Venaria. It is the second largest enclosed park in Europe, with a surface of some 3,000 hectares, bounded by a 30 km long wall built in the mid-19th century by Victor Emmanuel II of Sardinia, who had moved in the castle here (the Borgo Castello) the residence of his morganatic wife, Rosa Vercellana. The park included one of the last relics of the large forest which once covered the whole Po Plain. Fauna includes wild boars and deers. The park has also breeds of horse races which are considered in risk of extinction. There are many accesses to the park: the gate of the avenue Bella Rosina, Fiano and the gates of Robassomero: Oslera Cascina, Cascina La Falchetta and Royal Park I Roveri, and of course those from Turin.
