Leeds Road Fever Hospital

The Baitul Hamd (English: A Praiseworthy Place) is a mosque located on Leeds Road in Bradford, England. It is one of the oldest mosques of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in the UK. It was formally inaugurated on 2 October 1980 by Mirza Nasir Ahmad, the third caliph of the community and can accommodate around 200 worshippers.

Holy Trinity Church, Bradford, was an Anglican parish church located in Leeds Road, Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. It was built in 1864–65 to a design by the Lancaster architect E. G. Paley at an estimated cost of £3,565 (equivalent to £360,000 in 2021). The church was constructed in stone, its architectural style being Decorated. It had north and south five-bay aisles, and a southeast tower. In 1871 a broach spire was added, the chancel arch was rebuilt, and the tower was underpinned because of subsidence, the architects being Paley and Austin.The church was demolished in 1966, and the parish merged with that of St Clement's.

The Lakshmi Narayan Hindu Temple in Bradford is the largest Hindu temple (mandir) in Northern England. The temple was designed by local Yorkshire architects and built by a local construction company. The temple is faced with Yorkshire stone, and the design modern, reflecting the position of Hindus as part of contemporary Yorkshire society. The temple is unusual in housing most of the major deities revered by the Hindu community, in addition to Lakshmi Narayan, the main deities. This reflects the needs of the Hindu population in the United Kingdom, where temples have to serve all types of Hindus rather than just followers of a specific deity. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip visited the temple on 24 May 2007, for its official Opening Ceremony.

Barkerend is an inner-city area of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, east of the city centre and surrounded by Undercliffe Cemetery, Bradford Moor, Laisterdyke, Bowling, Broomfields, Little Germany and Wapping, including an area of modern housing known as Pollard Park.

Bradford Hammerton Street Depot was a traction maintenance depot located in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. The depot was near Bradford Exchange station. The depot code was HS.

Bowling railway station is a closed station in the city of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. It was on the line connecting the Bradford Exchange - Low Moor line of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway with the line of the Great Northern Railway (GNR) at Laisterdyke. It was opened by the GNR on 1 August 1854 and closed to passengers on 1 February 1895. The line remained open to freight until 4 May 1964. No trace remains of the station which was located northeast of the bridge crossing Wakefield Road.

The Bowling Iron Works was an iron working complex established around 1780 in the district of East Bowling part of the township and manor of Bowling, now in the southeast of Bradford in Yorkshire, England. The operation included mining coal and iron ore, smelting, refining, casting and forging to create finished products.

Bowling and Barkerend is an electoral ward within the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council. The population at the 2011 Census was 20,618.Bowling and Barkerend covers the area immediately east and south of Bradford centre. It includes the areas known as Barkerend, Bowling, East Bowling, Swaine Green, Cutler Heights and Goose Hill. St Clement's Church on Barkerend Road has Pre-Raphaelite decorations by Sir Edward Burne-Jones. Note that West Bowling is in neighbouring Little Horton ward.

Undercliffe Cemetery is located between Otley Road and Undercliffe Lane in the Bolton and Undercliffe ward, Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. The cemetery stands atop a hillside overlooking the city and contains some very impressive Victorian funerary monuments in a variety of styles. It is a notable example of a Victorian cemetery where a number of rich and prominent local residents have been buried, notably mill owners and former mayors. Undercliffe Cemetery is grade II* listed by English Heritage in their Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in England.

The Gatehaus is an eleven floor residential glass building located in Bradford, West Yorkshire in England. Developed by Asquith Properties, construction began in 2005 and was completed in May 2007. The total cost of the project was £22 million. The building won a number of awards in 2008, including "Building of the Year" at the Bradford District Design Awards, "Best City Centre Development" at the Resi Props Awards, and the "Design Excellence Award" at the Insider Property Awards.The Gatehaus was originally proposed as a 17-storey building, however, due to proximity to the historic Little Germany area of Bradford, the original scheme was considered too overbearing and was reduced in height to match the Victorian structures. It now stands at 35m. There are 142 apartments with a range of one to three bedrooms.

Laisterdyke is an area of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, situated to the east of the city on the border with City of Leeds and located in the Bradford Moor ward and in the Bradford East parliamentary constituency. Laisterdyke borders Barkerend, Bradford Moor area, Thornbury, Tyersal, and Bowling.
