The Pont Serme or Pons Selinus, later called the Pons Septimus, was a Roman bridge of the Via Domitia in Hérault, southern France. The approximately 1500 m long viaduct crossed the wide marshes of the Orb and the Etang de Capestang west of Béziers, surpassing in length even the Trajan's Bridge over the Danube. Today, few traces remain of the viaduct, other than its name, which has passed over to a nearby village.

The Parc des Sports et de l'Amitié is a multi-use stadium in Narbonne, France. The stadium is currently used mostly for rugby union matches and is the home stadium of RC Narbonne. The stadium is able to hold 12,000 people and was built in 1979.On 12 February, 2016, it hosted a Six Nations Under 20s Championship match between France and Ireland with France winning 34 - 13.

Narbonne is a railway station in Narbonne, Occitanie, France. The station opened on 22 April 1857 and is on the Bordeaux–Sète railway and Narbonne–Portbou railway lines. The station is served by TGV (high speed), Intercités (long distance, also night train) and TER (local) services operated by the SNCF. The line was electrified through Narbonne in 1935. The station is at an important 3-way junction, with both passenger and freight services coming from Toulouse, Nîmes, Perpignan and Spain (via Portbou). Some trains avoid the station, by a curve between the Toulouse and Perpignan lines.

It lies 849 km (528 mi) from Paris in the Aude department, of which it is a sub-prefecture. It is located about 15 km (9 mi) from the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and was historically a prosperous port. From the 14th century it declined following a change in the course of the river Aude. It is marginally the largest commune in Aude, but the capital of the Aude department is the smaller commune of Carcassonne.
