The Barranco del Infierno (in English: "Hell's Gorge") is a ravine located in the town of Adeje in the south of the island of Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. It is the second most-visited protected area on the island. A popular hiking trail leads through the ravine to the highest waterfall on Tenerife. Access to the gorge is controlled by a limitation of 300 daily visitors. It is not permitted to under-5s, and under-18s must be accompanied by an adult. Reservations can be done online. The trail was closed for security reasons after a deadly accident in 2009 and again on October 26 2015, but was reopened on February 10 2016. The biggest change of all is the compulsory wearing of crash helmets. Currently it is open all the way to the end, except on rainy and windy days, additional safety measures have been implemented. The path takes approximately three and a half hours, between the outward and return journey, and the total route is approximately 6.5 km. The area is very important archaeologically, since there are hundreds of caves that were home to many aboriginal Guanches, as well as caves with engravings. The largest collection of Guanche mummies and utensils were found here and placed in the Museum of Nature and Man of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The Canary Islands Championship was a professional golf tournament that was held 6–9 May 2021 at Golf Costa Adeje in Tenerife, Spain. The tournament was intended to be a one-off event and was played the week after the Tenerife Open, creating a three-week swing of events in the Canary Islands.Garrick Higgo won the event for his second win in the Canary Islands in the space of three weeks.

The Tenerife Open was a professional golf tournament on the European Tour. Formerly known as the Turespaña Open De Canaria when the tournament was last held in 1995. In 2021, the tournament was revived into the European Tour schedule. It is played in the Canary Islands of Spain, usually in Tenerife. Turespaña is the Spanish national tourism body, and it sponsored several golf tournaments in the 1980s and 1990s to promote Spain's role as a leading warm weather golf holiday destination in Europe. The most notable winner was Spaniard José María Olazábal, who later went on to win two Masters.

Siam Park is a water park in Costa Adeje, a coastal suburb in Tenerife, Canary Islands. Siam Park features a Siamese (Thai) theme. The park was opened by the Princess of Thailand Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The principal owners are Wolfgang Kiessling and his son Christoph. A second park is planned for the neighbouring island of Gran Canaria.

Las Águilas-Jungle Park is a zoological and botanical park located near the Los Cristianos beach on the Canary Island of Tenerife. Consisting of 7.5 hectares (19 acres) of jungle with over 500 animals, the park contains a number of walking paths with tunnels, suspension bridges, waterfalls, lagoons, and caves. The park also boasts daily flight shows featuring exotic birds and birds of prey. Las Águilas-Jungle Park is operated by Spanish tourism group Aspro Ocio S.A. It is the largest such group operating in Europe and is better known for its chain of parks called Aqualand. One of the park's main attractions are two white lions from South Africa these make up a big cat collection including leopards, jaguars, Bengal tiger, white tigers and pumas. The park also has a large primate collection including orangutans, gibbons, chimpanzees, mandrill, lemurs, capuchin monkeys, titi monkeys and Saimiri. The park's bird collection includes cranes, ibises, flamingoes, swans, storks, parrots, macaws, vultures, falcons, eagles and penguins. Other animals include pygmy hippopotamus, crocodiles, caiman, raccoons, red panda and meerkats.

Playa de las Américas is a purpose-built holiday resort in Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands of Spain. It is located in the southern and southern-west part of the Municipality of Arona, close to the adjoining Municipality of Adeje in the west of Tenerife. It was built in the 1960s a few miles distant from the fishing village of Los Cristianos. Playa de las Americas now (2021) is part of the contiguous touristic construction zone lining Tenerife's entire southwestern coast. The resort area features bars, nightclubs, restaurants, attractions, and beaches, most of which are man-made with imported sand from Africa due to the darkness of the native volcanic sand. Playa de las Americas is a centre of nightlife in Tenerife. Nightlife is spread around the resort and includes the Veronicas Strip, Starco Commercial Centre and the Patch.

The Hospital del Sur de Tenerife (in English: Hospital of the South of Tenerife) is located in the municipality of Arona, in the south of the island of Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain).It was opened in 2015. The Hospital del Sur de Tenerife is, together with its counterpart the Hospital del Norte de Tenerife, the main health centers in the island of Tenerife after the third level hospitals: the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de Candelaria (in Santa Cruz de Tenerife) and the Hospital Universitario de Canarias (in San Cristóbal de La Laguna). It is a center with coverage for the municipalities of the south of the island of Tenerife. The Hospital of the South of Tenerife has, according to its classification as a second level hospital, with services of hospitalization, advanced diagnosis, emergencies, major ambulatory surgery, rehabilitation, etc.

Arona is a municipality in the southern part of the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Spanish region and archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, in Macaronesia. The municipality covers an area of 81.79 square kilometres comprising 4% of the island's area. The town of Arona is 59 km southwest of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the island's capital. The population in 2017 was about 93,496. It is the third largest city in Tenerife, after, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and San Cristóbal de La Laguna. Arona has a pleasant climate with temperatures ranging from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius. Notable places include the tourist resorts of Los Cristianos, Playa de las Americas, Costa del Silencio and Las Galletas. Arona also features Punta Salemas, the southernmost point of the island of Tenerife. The TF-1 motorway passes through the municipality.

Estadio Olímpico Municipal Antonio Domínguez Alfonso, otherwise simply known as Estadio Antonio Domínguez Alfonso, is a multi-purpose stadium located in Playa de Las Américas, Arona, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. It is the home ground of Tercera División RFEF (Group 12) side CD Marino. It has a capacity of 7,500 for sporting events, whilst being able to accommodate a capacity of 27,000 for concerts. It has dimensions of 100 x 70 metres.

The Parque Central de Arona is a public park of 42,000 square metres in Arona, Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. It is made up of several squares and gardens in the tourist centre of Playa de las Americas. The park, which opened in 2004, was commissioned by the Cabildo de Tenerife and designed by GBGV Architects (Architect Jorge Mosquera Paniagua) and the botanist Carlo Morici. The park displays the native flora of the Canary Islands. Walkways are lined with tamarind and macadamia trees. A third of the area is covered with over 40 species of palm trees intermingled with tropical vegetation. The family Bombaceae is well represented by Chorisia speciosa, Bombax ceiba, Ceiba pentandra, and several baobabs, including Adansonia digitata and A. grandidieri. Morici designed an environmental reconstruction of the endangered Canarian coastal scrub, typically characterized by Euphorbia balsamifera and Euphorbia canariensis. Other trees include the official tree of Arona, Pistacia atlantica, dragon trees, and the Canary Island Date Palm (Phoenix canariensis).

The Port of Los Cristianos is a port of the Atlantic Ocean located in the town of Los Cristianos, in the municipality of Arona on the island of Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain). It is administered by the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is the port with the highest passenger and vehicle traffic in the Canary Islands, in 2007 it had 1,829,579 passengers, and 238,836 vehicles. The port area of Los Cristianos also occupies the first place in Spain in terms of passenger traffic thanks to its links with the ports of San Sebastián de La Gomera, La Estaca in El Hierro and Santa Cruz de La Palma.

The Tenerife Women's Open is a women's professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour, held on the Spanish island of Tenerife. It was first played in 2002.
