West Career and Technical Academy (WCTA, West Tech) is a magnet high school located in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The school opened in August 2010 as the first magnet school in Summerlin, a community in the western Las Vegas Valley. It is administered by the Clark County School District. As of 2019, the school had an enrollment of 1,397 students and 61 classroom teachers on a FTE basis, for a student-teacher ratio of 23:1. West Tech offers nine programs to prepare students for a career in the field selected.

Hindu Temple of Las Vegas or HTLV, is a Hindu temple located in Summerlin, Nevada. It is one of two Hindu temples in the Las Vegas Valley. HTLV is targeted specifically for worshipers of Sanatana Dharma. HTLV also contains an area for Jains to worship at.

Palo Verde High School is a high school in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The school was built in 1996 with an adjacent 10 portable classrooms located in Summerlin, a rapidly growing suburban community in the western portion of the City of Las Vegas and unincorporated Clark County. The origin of the school's name comes from the surrounding palo verde trees. The school's ethnic ratio is 59.4% Caucasian; 17.1% Hispanic; 11.5% Asian/Pacific Islander; 11.4% African American and 0.6% Native American.The school site includes a College of Southern Nevada (CSN) High Tech Center and an adjacent Parks and Recreation facility.

The Summerlin Hospital Medical Center is a private, for-profit hospital owned by Universal Health Services and operated by the Valley Health System. It is located in the Summerlin neighborhood of Las Vegas, Nevada. As of 2018, the Summerlin Hospital offers 485 beds with private rooms. It is an accredited Chest Pain Center and Primary Stroke Center. The 40-acre (16 ha) campus also includes two medical office towers that provide a variety of outpatient services.

Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Las Vegas was a culinary school founded in 2003 and owned by Career Education Corporation under a licensing agreement with Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. The school was accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). In Las Vegas, Nevada, the school offered an Associate of Occupational Science degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts and a Certificate in Le Cordon Bleu Pâtisserie and Baking. Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts was designed to bring the study and practice of culinary arts to Las Vegas. The school was founded in 2003. Le Cordon Bleu Las Vegas stopped accepting applications as of April 2016. All US Cordon Bleu College locations were scheduled to close in 2017.

TPC Las Vegas, formerly TPC at The Canyons, is an 18-hole golf course located in the planned community of Summerlin in western Las Vegas, Nevada. Opened in 1996 and designed by Bobby Weed in consultation with tour professional Raymond Floyd, TPC Las Vegas is part of the PGA Tour's Tournament Players Club network. It was the venue for the Las Vegas Senior Classic, a tournament on the Champions Tour, from 1994 to 2001. The course was featured in the PS1 version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2001.

Red Rock Resort is a hotel and casino in Summerlin South, Nevada, located in the Las Vegas Valley. It is owned and operated by Station Casinos on 59.43 acres (24.05 ha) located in the Downtown Summerlin neighborhood. It is Station Casinos' flagship property, and the company's corporate headquarters is located on the property.The project was announced in July 2002 and is named after the nearby Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. The project initially was to include a 23-story, 300-foot hotel tower with 1,000 rooms, as well as timeshare buildings that would be added in a future phase. In October 2003, the project received opposition from people who believed that it would harm the quality of life for Summerlin residents and that it would destroy the views of Red Rock Canyon. A compromise was ultimately reached in January 2004, reducing the hotel tower to 198 feet while removing the timeshare aspect entirely. Groundbreaking began in April 2004, and the resort was topped off in March 2005, before opening on April 18, 2006, as the second casino in Summerlin. Red Rock Resort was Station Casinos' most expensive property, built at a cost of $925 million, including a hotel expansion that opened in 2007. A separate $65 million expansion also occurred during 2006, and included a $31 million bowling alley, the most expensive in the world. A six-month, $35 million expansion was announced in 2014, and included the addition of several new restaurants. The resort includes a 118,309 sq ft (10,991.3 m2) casino, a 796-room hotel, a 3-acre (1.2 ha) pool area, a spa, 94,000 sq ft (8,700 m2) of meeting space, and a 16-screen movie theater. The hotel tower is the second tallest building in Summerlin after One Queensridge Place.

City National Arena is the practice facility and team headquarters of the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League. City National Arena opened on September 18, 2017, and is located in Summerlin South, Nevada, a suburb of Las Vegas. It contains the headquarters for the team, a team store, and a MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub restaurant, among other features. It is also the home venue for the UNLV Rebels hockey program, the Las Vegas Thunderbirds, the Vegas Jesters of the Mountain West Hockey League, and the Junior Golden Knights.

Las Vegas Ballpark is a baseball stadium in the Summerlin South region of Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. It is the home field for the Las Vegas Aviators of the Pacific Coast League, who are currently affiliated with the Oakland Athletics. The stadium, along with its primary tenant, is owned by the Howard Hughes Corporation. Las Vegas Ballpark is located in Downtown Summerlin near the intersection of South Pavilion Center Drive and Summerlin Center Drive next to City National Arena and across the street from the Downtown Summerlin shopping center. Construction of the $150 million stadium began in 2018 and was completed in time for the Aviators' 2019 season. It replaced the team's previous home at Cashman Field, where the Aviators had resided since 1983 as the Stars and 51s, respectively.

In 1980, the Hebrew Academy Las Vegas opened at the original Temple Beth Sholom in East Las Vegas. Eight years later, its Director, Dr. Tamar Lubin Saposhnik along with Las Vegas businessman Milton I. Schwartz along with George and Gertrude Rudiak, created the Milton I. Schwartz Hebrew Academy for elementary-aged children. Dr. Miriam and Sheldon G. Adelson made a major gift in November 2006, for The Adelson School in Summerlin, which grew from 145 students to 500 students today.The Adelson Educational Campus consists of three schools: • The Lower School provides students from 18 months through 4th grade. • The Middle School, grades 5–8. • The Upper School, grades 9–12.

Faith Lutheran Middle School & High School is a private Christian college-preparatory school located in Summerlin, Nevada. The school, which was founded in 1979, serves grades 6-12 and is affiliated with the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. The school is the largest non-public school in Nevada, with over 2,000 students.
