City National Arena is the practice facility and team headquarters of the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League. City National Arena opened on September 18, 2017, and is located in Summerlin South, Nevada, a suburb of Las Vegas. It contains the headquarters for the team, a team store, and a MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub restaurant, among other features. It is also the home venue for the UNLV Rebels hockey program, the Las Vegas Thunderbirds, the Vegas Jesters of the Mountain West Hockey League, and the Junior Golden Knights.

Las Vegas Ballpark is a baseball stadium in the Summerlin South region of Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. It is the home field for the Las Vegas Aviators of the Pacific Coast League, who are currently affiliated with the Oakland Athletics. The stadium, along with its primary tenant, is owned by the Howard Hughes Corporation. Las Vegas Ballpark is located in Downtown Summerlin near the intersection of South Pavilion Center Drive and Summerlin Center Drive next to City National Arena and across the street from the Downtown Summerlin shopping center. Construction of the $150 million stadium began in 2018 and was completed in time for the Aviators' 2019 season. It replaced the team's previous home at Cashman Field, where the Aviators had resided since 1983 as the Stars and 51s, respectively.

The Downtown Summerlin shopping center or DTS is an outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment center. It is a part of the greater Downtown Summerlin area, a 400-acre (160 ha) development which lies within the community of Summerlin South on the western outskirts of Las Vegas, Nevada. The shopping center contains 1,600,000 square feet (150,000 m2) and is located on 106 acres (43 ha). The two major anchor stores are Dillard's and Macy's. In total, Downtown Summerlin is home to over 125 shops, bars, and restaurants, as well as a Regal Cinemas movie theater. A mall for the Summerlin community had been planned by The Howard Hughes Corporation since 1988, but was delayed several times. General Growth Properties acquired Howard Hughes Corporation in 2004, and began work on the site in 2007, to build what was then known as The Shops at Summerlin Centre. Construction was suspended in 2008, due to financial problems. Howard Hughes Corporation took over the project in 2010, and resumed construction in 2013. Downtown Summerlin's grand opening was held on October 9, 2014.

Faith Lutheran Middle School & High School is a private Christian college-preparatory school located in Summerlin, Nevada. The school, which was founded in 1979, serves grades 6-12 and is affiliated with the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. The school is the largest non-public school in Nevada, with over 2,000 students.

Palo Verde High School is a high school in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The school was built in 1996 with an adjacent 10 portable classrooms located in Summerlin, a rapidly growing suburban community in the western portion of the City of Las Vegas and unincorporated Clark County. The origin of the school's name comes from the surrounding palo verde trees. The school's ethnic ratio is 59.4% Caucasian; 17.1% Hispanic; 11.5% Asian/Pacific Islander; 11.4% African American and 0.6% Native American.The school site includes a College of Southern Nevada (CSN) High Tech Center and an adjacent Parks and Recreation facility.

The Las Vegas Art Museum was an art museum in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was formerly located in a building shared with the Sahara West Library branch of the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District in Las Vegas, NV. The museum closed in 2009. The Las Vegas Art Museum was "dedicated to engaging visitors in the international culture of contemporary art." The museum provided the public with publications, lectures, educational and outreach programs. It also developed a significant permanent collection of contemporary art.

The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain or Dawson is a private independent, college-preparatory, and day school in Summerlin, Nevada. The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain provides co-educational and secular education to over 520 students from preschool through eighth grade.

Summerlin South, also seen on maps as South Summerlin, is a census-designated place (CDP) in Clark County, Nevada, United States, on the western edge of the Las Vegas Valley and adjacent to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. It is so named because it is a southward extension of the master-planned community of Summerlin. Nearly all of Summerlin South is in ZIP code 89135. The population was 24,085 at the 2010 Census. The Summerlin South Community Association is the main governmental entity of the area – it is a homeowners association for the entire community. Summerlin South is considered to be one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the Las Vegas Valley. West Career and Technical Academy (WCTA, West Tech) is a magnet high school located in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The school opened in August 2010 as the first magnet school in Summerlin, a community in the western Las Vegas Valley. It is administered by the Clark County School District. As of 2019, the school had an enrollment of 1,397 students and 61 classroom teachers on a FTE basis, for a student-teacher ratio of 23:1. West Tech offers nine programs to prepare students for a career in the field selected.

The Summerlin Hospital Medical Center is a private, for-profit hospital owned by Universal Health Services and operated by the Valley Health System. It is located in the Summerlin neighborhood of Las Vegas, Nevada. As of 2018, the Summerlin Hospital offers 485 beds with private rooms. It is an accredited Chest Pain Center and Primary Stroke Center. The 40-acre (16 ha) campus also includes two medical office towers that provide a variety of outpatient services.
