Southwick Court

The Clarendon Academy (formerly The Clarendon College, The Clarendon School and Nelson Haden School) is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in Trowbridge in the English county of Wiltshire.

Southwick is a semi-rural village and civil parish 3 miles (4.8 km) southwest of the county town of Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England. It is separated from the southwest fringe of Trowbridge only by the Southwick Country Park, which consists of 380 acres (150 ha) of open fields. The majority of the village lies south of the A361, which runs through the village, linking Trowbridge with Frome. The parish includes the hamlets of Hoggington and Hoopers Pool.

North Bradley is a village and civil parish in Wiltshire, England, between Trowbridge and Westbury. The village is about 1.75 miles (2.8 km) south of Trowbridge town centre. The parish includes most of the village of Yarnbrook, and the hamlets of Brokerswood, Cutteridge and Drynham.

West Wiltshire was a local government district in Wiltshire, England, formed on 1 April 1974, further to the Local Government Act 1972, as a merger of the former urban districts of Bradford-on-Avon, Melksham, Trowbridge, Warminster and Westbury, along with Bradford and Melksham Rural District and the Warminster and Westbury Rural District.There were five towns in the district, Bradford on Avon, Melksham, Trowbridge, Warminster and Westbury, each surrounded by rural parishes. About two-thirds of the district's population was in its five towns. The district council was based at purpose-built offices in Bradley Road, Trowbridge. It was abolished on 1 April 2009 as part of the 2009 structural changes to local government in England, when its functions were taken over by the new Wiltshire Council unitary authority.

St. Augustine's Catholic College is an independent Catholic secondary school in the town of Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England. The school has a sixth form for years 12 and 13. The school opened on its site in the western suburbs of Trowbridge in 1967. Previously a voluntary aided school, it has been an academy since September 2011. When inspected by Ofsted in November 2021, the school was assessed as 'requires improvement' in all categories. This was its first inspection after conversion to an academy, since the academy inherited an 'outstanding' rating from its predecessor and was therefore exempt from inspection for a while. The 2021 report stated that pupils feel safe, attend punctually and behave well in lessons.Notable alumni include the actors Will Thorp and Sam Otto, and the world champion athlete Danny Talbot.

Holy Trinity Church, Trowbridge is a Grade II* listed 19th-century Church of England church in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England, which had parish church status until 2011. It is commonly known in Trowbridge as 'The Church on the Roundabout', as it is encircled by a one-way traffic system.

It is service of Wiltshire Council, with the strapline "Love Reading, Love Libraries". There are 31 public libraries and 5 mobile libraries, including one which specifically visits residential homes. The smallest ten libraries are still stocked with books and funded by the council, but are staffed by volunteers. Volunteers have also helped extend opening hours in some medium-sized libraries.

Wiltshire Council is a council for the unitary authority of Wiltshire (excluding the separate unitary authority of Swindon) in South West England, created in 2009. It is the successor authority to Wiltshire County Council (1889–2009) and the four district councils of Kennet, North Wiltshire, Salisbury, and West Wiltshire, all of which were created in 1974 and abolished in 2009.

Trowbridge railway station is a railway station on the Wessex Main Line serving the town of Trowbridge in Wiltshire, England. The station is 24 miles (39 km) south east of Bristol Temple Meads and is managed by Great Western Railway. Originally opened by the Wilts, Somerset and Weymouth Railway in 1848 as part of their Thingley Junction to Westbury line, it gained a link to Bath and Bristol nine years later thanks to the Great Western Railway. This is now the main line, as the original route to Chippenham has been singled and reduced to secondary status.
