Charleston is a city in Bradley County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 664 at the 2020 census. It is included in the Cleveland Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Charleston Cumberland Presbyterian Church is a historic church on Railroad Street in Charleston, Tennessee. It was built in 1860 in the Greek Revival architectural style. In 1863, during the American Civil War, Confederate forces used the building as a hospital. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Fort Cass was a fort located on the Hiwassee River in present-day Charleston, Tennessee, that served as the military operational headquarters for the entire Cherokee removal, an forced migration of the Cherokee known as the Trail of Tears from their ancestral homelands in the Southeast to Indian Territory in present-day Oklahoma. Fort Cass housed a garrison of United States troops who watched over the largest concentration of internment camps where Cherokee were kept during the summer of 1838 before starting the main trek west to Indian Territory, and served as one of three emigration deports where the Cherokee began their journey west, the others of which were located at Ross's Landing in Chattanooga and Gunter's Landing near Guntersville, Alabama.

The Henegar House, also known as Ivy Hall, is a historic house in Charleston, Tennessee. Constructed in 1849, it is the oldest remaining brick structure in Bradley County. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1976.

Calhoun is a town in McMinn County, Tennessee, United States. It is part of the Athens Micropolitan Statistical Area . The population was estimated at 536 in 2020.

Walker Valley High School (WVHS) is a public high school in the Bradley County Schools system located in the northern part of Bradley County, Tennessee near Charleston. The school serves about 1,600 students in grades 9–12. The school's mascot is the mustang and its school colors are blue and gold. Walker Valley has been in existence since 2001, and maintains rivalries with Cleveland High School and Bradley Central High School. The current principal is Mrs. Candice Belt.

Cleveland Regional Jetport is a public general aviation airport located near the community of Tasso, Tennessee, US, approximately four miles north of the business district of Cleveland. Opened on January 25, 2013, it is owned by the City of Cleveland and serves Cleveland and Bradley County.

WCLE-FM (104.1 FM, "Mix 104.1") is a radio station broadcasting an adult contemporary music format. Licensed to Calhoun, Tennessee, the station is currently owned by Hartline, LLC and features programming from Fox News Radio, Vol Network, Titans Radio Network, and Motor Racing Network. Although the station is licensed to Calhoun, the transmitter is located on Candies Creek Ridge in the northern part of neighboring Bradley County, and the studios are located in Cleveland. Its sister station is WCLE-AM, with which it shares a studio. WCLE-FM was originally established in 1961, signing on on August 1 of that year. The original station was the predecessor to modern WUSY. At first, the station was powered at 5,100 watts and only served the Cleveland area. WCLE-FM was also a daytimer and simulcast the AM's programming by day and continued broadcasting at night. The station switched to WUSY in 1981. WCLE-FM returned in September 1993, and describes itself as playing a mix of music from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s to the present.

Chatata, meaning "clear water", is the original Cherokee name of an area located in Bradley County, Tennessee. Today the name survives in references to a number of locations in Bradley County, most notably Chatata Valley in the northeastern part of the county. Chatata was also the original name of an unincorporated community in this region now known as Tasso.

Tasso is an unincorporated community located in Bradley County, Tennessee approximately five miles north-northeast of the business district of Cleveland. Its coordinates are approximately 35.212 N, 84.804 W and its elevation is approximately 814 feet. It appears in the East Cleveland US Geological Survey records. Tasso is included in the Cleveland metropolitan statistical area.

Tennessee Christian Preparatory School (TCPS), formerly Tennessee Christian Academy (TCA) is a private Christian college preparatory school located in Cleveland, Tennessee. It is the only state-accredited private college preparatory school in the immediate area.

Fairview is a former unincorporated community located in Bradley County, Tennessee, United States. It was annexed into the city of Cleveland beginning in the late 1980s. It appears on numerous maps produced by the U.S. Geological Survey, and is part of the Cleveland, Tennessee, metropolitan area.
