The Ciudad Deportiva Andrés Iniesta, is the training ground of Albacete Balompié who are currently playing in the Spanish Segunda División. Occupying a total area of 75,000 m² at the south of Albacete, the construction of the complex was launched in March 1998 and completed in April 2005. The stadium is named after Spanish footballer Andrés Iniesta.

The museum has existed in various incarnations since 1927, and settled in its present building in Abelardo Sánchez Park in 1978. Its exhibits emphasize the development of regional civilization and art, and the museum is divided into subsections for archeology, fine arts, and ethnology. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1962.The Joaquín Sánchez Jiménez Archaeology Museum houses a notable collection of Roman and pre-Roman artifacts. Local Paleolithic and Neolithic items are shown, as well as Roman art and tools. Iberian sculpture is featured as well. The Benjamín Palencia fine arts section emphasizes 20th century works, and includes many pieces by local contemporary artists.

On 26 January 2015, an F-16D Fighting Falcon jet fighter of the Hellenic Air Force crashed into the flight line at Los Llanos Air Base in Albacete, Spain, killing 11 people: the two crew members and nine on the ground. Twenty-one others, all on the ground, were injured.

Albacete Airport (IATA: ABC, ICAO: LEAB) is an airport operated by Aena located about 4 miles (6 kilometres) south of the city of Albacete, the capital of the province of Albacete in Castile-La Mancha, Spain. It shares the runway and some facilities with Los Llanos Air Base, operated by the Spanish Air and Space Force. The airport is served by road CM-3203. It began operation as a civilian airport on 1 July 2003, after seventy-plus years solely used by the military. The first flight was flown by Hola Airlines to the Balearic Islands. Albacete and Ciudad Real Central Airport are the only public airports in Castilla La Mancha. However, since the closure of Ciudad Real Central Airport and the cessation of scheduled services from Albacete, the region has been left without any scheduled passenger services.

The Fair of Albacete (Spanish: recinto Ferial de Albacete) is a trade fairground located in Albacete, Spain. Since 2022, the fair's goods are supplied by the Port Authority of Valencia. On 15 August 2021, an explosion at a roast chicken stall left one person injured.

Home to important buildings such as the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense in Albacete, the Casa de Archillas or the central delegation of Caja Castilla-La Mancha in the city. It is one of the busiest places of Albacete. In the past was called Plaza de Canalejas.
