Palais Royale is a residential skyscraper project in Worli, Mumbai.The building sits on land previously owned by Shree Ram Mills Ltd. Permits for construction were granted in 2005, and construction began in 2008. The project's progress has been stalled due to multiple public interest litigation lawsuits filed by NGOs Janhit Manch and UHRF, Delhi. These litigations were disposed of by Supreme Court of India in October 2019. In its judgement the Court observed that the lawsuits lacked consistency and bonafides. The promoters of the project have contended the lawsuits to be motivated and sponsored by private interests of rival builder Mufatraj Munot of Kalpataru Builders. The site was put up for auction in May 2019 without any buyers. Another auction was held in mid 2019, and the incomplete site was bought by a company named Honest Shelters for ₹ 705 crore. The building would have had have 120 apartments ranging in size between 740 and 1,300 square metres (8,000 and 14,000 sq ft).

Worli (ISO: Varaḷī, [ʋəɾ(ə)ɭiː]) is a locality in South Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is one of the four peninsulas of Mumbai while the other being Colaba, Bandra and Malabar Hill. The sea connects it with Bandra via the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. Historic spellings include Warli, Worlee, Varli, and Varel. Originally Worli was a separate island, one of the Seven Islands of Bombay which were ceded by the Portuguese to England in 1661; it was linked up with the other islands in the 19th century. In the 1990s, a group of terrorists attacked a building in Worli as well as major buildings in the city.

World One is a 280.2 m (919 ft) , 76 floor skyscraper in Mumbai, India. Currently, it is the tallest completed building in India. It is on the 7.1-hectare (17.5-acre) site of the defunct Shrinivas Mill. The site also houses two other towers: World View and World Crest. The complex was developed by the Lodha Group. World One was being built at an estimated cost of over US$321 million. Construction began in 2011, it was expected to be 442 m (1,450 ft) tall. As the developer failed to obtain approval from the Airports Authority of India for that height, the project was stalled for few years. Following the delay, the project was redesigned to the current height and completed.World One's architect is Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, the structural engineer is Leslie E. Robertson Associates & MEP engineer is Buro Happold Engineers. The whole project i.e. The World Towers consists of three towers. There were two construction civil contractors involved: Arabian Construction Co. and Simplex (World One), Muscovite Group (World Crest, World View). Indian Millionaires also take part of this huge tower and some own a percentage.

The Mumbai Television Tower, also known as the Worli Doordarshan Tower, is the television tower owned by Doordarshan, the public-broadcaster located in the city of Mumbai in India. It stands at 300 metres (984 feet) and is the fourth-tallest man-made structure in the Indian subcontinent. The red and white tower is an open latticework structure. The tower, located at Worli, can be seen from most parts of South Mumbai. A 32-minute documentary titled Tale of a Tower was produced by the Films Division of India featuring footage of the tower topped out in 1972.

On 29 December 2017, a fire broke out at Kamala Mills, a commercial complex in Lower Parel, Mumbai, at 00:22 IST. The fire resulted in the deaths of 14 people, and injuries to 55 more. The fire began in a bar, 1 Above, and spread to an adjacent pub, Mojo's Bistro, before spreading through the rest of the building in which they were housed.

Namaste Tower is a 310 m (1,017 ft) tall skyscraper mega project in Mumbai, India. It would have been a mixed-use skyscraper with 63 floors that will house a 380-room W Hotel, office and retail space. It was designed by Atkins, Dubai. The design resembles the Namaste gesture: two wings of the hotel are clasped together like hands greeting. It would have been built in Lower Parel, Mumbai, on land previously owned by Ambika Mills. The land was acquired by the builders using redevelopment models.

Lower Parel (Pronunciation: [pəɾəɭ], [pəɾeːl]; station code: PL) railway station is a railway station on the Western Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway, India. The next station south is Mahalaxmi railway station; the next station north is Prabhadevi. Lower Parel railway station has three platforms. From platform no.1, slow local trains go towards Dadar-Bandra-Andheri-Borivali -Virar, from platform no.2, slow local trains go towards Mumbai Central-Churchgate, and Platform No.3 is kept as a reserve that can be used in emergency and during mega-block on Sundays. As Lower Parel has become a corporate hub, thousands of people use the railway station daily, which makes the Lower Parel railway station one of the most crowded local railway stations of Mumbai. It will have a connection to phase II of the Mumbai Monorail, due to open in 2015. The Delisle Bridge, which connects to Lower Parel, was shut to traffic in 2018 and is expected to reopen in 2023 after pandemic-caused delays.
