The Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) is a research organization at the University of Colorado Boulder. LASP is a research institute with over one hundred research scientists ranging in fields from solar influences, to Earth's and other planetary atmospherics processes, space weather, space plasma and dusty plasma physics. LASP has advanced technical capabilities specializing in designing, building, and operating spacecraft and spacecraft instruments.

The Space Science Institute (SSI) in Boulder, Colorado, is a nonprofit, public-benefit corporation formed in 1992. Its purpose is to create and maintain an environment where scientific research and education programs can flourish in an integrated fashion. SSI is among the four non-profit institutes in the US cited in a 2007 report by Nature, including Southwest Research Institute, Planetary Science Institute, and Eureka Scientific, which manage federal grants for non-tenure-track astronomers.

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder is a Unitarian Universalist ("UU") church in Boulder, Colorado. From December 2017 to March 2022, undocumented immigrant Ingrid Encalada Latorre lived in sanctuary within the church building prior to being pardoned by Colorado Governor Jared Polis and granted a stay of removal in 2021. Encalada Latoree was one of more than 70 immigrants nationally who lived in sanctuary in churches during the Trump presidency.

Twenty Ninth Street is a retail center in Boulder, Colorado (managed by The Macerich Company) that opened on October 13, 2006 on the former site of Crossroads Mall.The center is separated into three distinct neighborhoods connected by a series of streets, walkways, terraces, plazas and other outdoor community gathering spaces. The center is anchored by Macy's, Home Depot, Century Theaters, Staples, and Colorado Athletic Club.

The Crossroads Mall was an indoor shopping mall from 1963 until 2004, in Boulder, Colorado.

The Boulder station is a retired train depot in Boulder, Colorado. It was originally built in 1890 in downtown Boulder to serve as a depot for the Union Pacific railroad. The depot was built in a modified Richardson Romanesque style from native Boulder County stone. The depot operated as a train station at its original location until 1957, when a new depot opened and replaced it.The depot was purchased by a bus company and it functioned as a bus transit terminal until 1973, when the Boulder Jaycees' purchase saved it from demolition; it was moved it to a location near the original Boulder County, Colorado Fairgrounds. The efforts of the Boulder Jaycees and Historic Boulder, Inc. were instrumental in preserving the structure.In October 2008, the City of Boulder and the Colorado Regional Transportation District moved the depot again, this time to the site of a new, transit-oriented development on the east side of 30th Street.In December 2015, the depot reopened as a restaurant and bar named Roadhouse Boulder Depot, part of the Boulder Junction at Depot Square development.

The CU Events Center is an 11,064-seat multi-purpose arena in the western United States, on the main campus of the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. Opened 42 years ago in 1979, it is home to the Colorado Buffaloes men's and women's basketball teams and women's volleyball of the Pac-12 Conference. The building is an eight-sided concrete structure, with three levels: arena floor, service level, and the concourse level. Single-tiered inside, it replaced the Balch Fieldhouse, the current home of the indoor track and field team located directly adjacent to Folsom Field. The approximate elevation at street level is 5,400 feet (1,600 m) above sea level making it the college basketball arena with the 5th highest elevation in the country.

BioServe Space Technologies is a research institute within the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. Since its foundation in 1987 it focuses on developing microgravity life science research and hardware. Its current center director is Prof. Louis Stodieck BioServe has designed, built and flown over 50 different payloads on over 40 space flight missions including the Space Shuttle, ISS, MIR, Soyuz, and Progress and recently the SpaceX's Dragon capsule and Orbital's Cygnus spacecraft. In 2011 BioServe was selected to be the official payload developer for the YouTube Space Lab - a contest where students were able to propose micro gravitational research and BioServe would develop the winner's experiment hardware and perform all of the mission integration and operations work. BioServe Space Technologies was also the designer of the Commercial Generic Bioprocessing Apparatus (CGBA) which is a temperature controlled incubator for experiments on cells, microbes, and plants currently in use on the ISS.

The Computer Science Department at the University of Colorado Boulder is an academic department in the College of Engineering and Applied Science focusing on the teaching and research of Computer Science. The department was founded in 1970 and was later inducted into the College of Engineering and Applied Science in 1980. The department offers both undergraduate and graduate degree programs as well as a minor in Computer Science.

Sommers–Bausch Observatory is an astronomical observatory located on and owned by University of Colorado Boulder. The building was initially completed in 1953 and named after Elmer E. Sommers and Carl L. Bausch. It is operated by the university's Department of Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences (APS), which primarily utilizes the facilities and equipment of the observatory for teaching as well as some research. Telescopes include two 20" Planewave CDK telescopes on Software Bisque Taurus 500 encoder mounts, a 24" Boller and Chivens Cassegrain reflectors, and a 10-inch aperture heliostat (solar telescope). The observatory also possesses multiple smaller telescopes and ancillary equipment. The observatory also houses the lab classroom and the computer lab for the APS department. The observatory hosts free public open houses on Friday nights during the academic semester, hosted by students and faculty.

The Leeds School of Business is a college of the University of Colorado Boulder in the United States, established 1906. As of April 2022, the school reports an enrollment of over 3800 undergraduate students. In 2001, the college was named for the Leeds family, spearheaded by alumnus Michael Leeds of New York, who committed $35 million to the school.

The University of Colorado Law School is one of the professional graduate schools within the University of Colorado System. It is a public law school, with more than 500 students attending and working toward a Juris Doctor or Master of Studies in Law. The Wolf Law Building is located in Boulder, Colorado, and is sited on the south side of the University of Colorado at Boulder campus. The law school houses the William A. Wise Law Library, which is a regional archive for federal government materials and is open to the public. United States Supreme Court Justice Wiley Blount Rutledge graduated from the University of Colorado Law School in 1922.The University of Colorado Law School consistently ranks in the top 50 law schools in U.S. News & World Report rankings (ranked 49th as of 2022). According to Colorado's official 2015 ABA-required disclosures, 74.2% of the Class of 2015 obtained full-time, long-term, JD-required employment nine months after graduation. For 2015 graduates, the overall employment rate was 96% at 10 months after graduation, including JD-required, JD-advantaged, and other positions.
