Sommers–Bausch Observatory is an astronomical observatory located on and owned by University of Colorado Boulder. The building was initially completed in 1953 and named after Elmer E. Sommers and Carl L. Bausch. It is operated by the university's Department of Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences (APS), which primarily utilizes the facilities and equipment of the observatory for teaching as well as some research. Telescopes include two 20" Planewave CDK telescopes on Software Bisque Taurus 500 encoder mounts, a 24" Boller and Chivens Cassegrain reflectors, and a 10-inch aperture heliostat (solar telescope). The observatory also possesses multiple smaller telescopes and ancillary equipment. The observatory also houses the lab classroom and the computer lab for the APS department. The observatory hosts free public open houses on Friday nights during the academic semester, hosted by students and faculty.

The CU Events Center is an 11,064-seat multi-purpose arena in the western United States, on the main campus of the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. Opened 42 years ago in 1979, it is home to the Colorado Buffaloes men's and women's basketball teams and women's volleyball of the Pac-12 Conference. The building is an eight-sided concrete structure, with three levels: arena floor, service level, and the concourse level. Single-tiered inside, it replaced the Balch Fieldhouse, the current home of the indoor track and field team located directly adjacent to Folsom Field. The approximate elevation at street level is 5,400 feet (1,600 m) above sea level making it the college basketball arena with the 5th highest elevation in the country.

The Leeds School of Business is a college of the University of Colorado Boulder in the United States, established 1906. As of April 2022, the school reports an enrollment of over 3800 undergraduate students. In 2001, the college was named for the Leeds family, spearheaded by alumnus Michael Leeds of New York, who committed $35 million to the school.

New Vista is a small public high school in Boulder, Colorado, United States. It was founded in 1993 by Rona Wilensky. The Colorado Department of Education's School Accountability report has consistently rated New Vista high school has a "high" performing school.

BioServe Space Technologies is a research institute within the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. Since its foundation in 1987 it focuses on developing microgravity life science research and hardware. Its current center director is Prof. Louis Stodieck BioServe has designed, built and flown over 50 different payloads on over 40 space flight missions including the Space Shuttle, ISS, MIR, Soyuz, and Progress and recently the SpaceX's Dragon capsule and Orbital's Cygnus spacecraft. In 2011 BioServe was selected to be the official payload developer for the YouTube Space Lab - a contest where students were able to propose micro gravitational research and BioServe would develop the winner's experiment hardware and perform all of the mission integration and operations work. BioServe Space Technologies was also the designer of the Commercial Generic Bioprocessing Apparatus (CGBA) which is a temperature controlled incubator for experiments on cells, microbes, and plants currently in use on the ISS.

The Computer Science Department at the University of Colorado Boulder is an academic department in the College of Engineering and Applied Science focusing on the teaching and research of Computer Science. The department was founded in 1970 and was later inducted into the College of Engineering and Applied Science in 1980. The department offers both undergraduate and graduate degree programs as well as a minor in Computer Science.

Cheyenne Arapaho Hall is a student residence hall at University of Colorado Boulder, in Boulder, Colorado. Located on the south side of Farrand Field, between the Wardenburg Health Center and Willard Hall, it was completed in 1954 and designed by Trautwein & Howard (Philadelphia) and Peterson & Linstedt (Denver). In the Summer of 2007 Cheyenne Arapaho underwent the Residential Annual Modernization Program (RAMP) which updated community bathrooms, installed new flooring, doors, electronic locks and window coverings and repainted the building's entire interior. Refurbished rooms have bright new furniture and padded note-board walls, and bathrooms feature new sinks, countertops, low-flow toilets and showerheads and walls with tiled CU logos.The 4-story residence hall holds 418 freshmen students of all academic majors. Cheyenne Arapaho Hall was originally named Fleming Hall, but was renamed Nichols Hall in 1961 after David H. Nichols. On October 6, 1989 it was finally renamed to Cheyenne Arapaho Hall for two tribes on the pre-settlement Colorado plains, villages of whom were targeted by the 3rd Colorado Volunteers at the Sand Creek Massacre in 1864. The hall was formerly named for David H. Nichols, Captain, Company H, 3rd Colorado Volunteers, who was at Sand Creek, and was an early proponent of the University. Cheyenne Arapaho Hall is reference in The State of Native America by M. Annette Jaimes. Cheyenne Arapaho Hall consists of two wings with a main lobby containing a Grab-N-Go titled Piazanos which offers 100 percent natural, and organic (when available) food and beverages which opened Spring 2006. The dining hall on the 2nd floor of Cheyenne Arapaho was closed down in Fall 2005.Students living in Cheyenne Arapaho Hall must participate in ARSC 1001 - The Contemporary University and Student Citizens, which began in the Fall Semester of 2007. The Contemporary University and Student Citizens is an introductory course designed for entering University of Colorado students. Using an undergraduate seminar format, students begin to explore the role of universities in open, civilized societies from antiquity to the present-day University of Colorado Boulder.

Design Center Colorado is situated within the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. Design Center (DC) Colorado is dedicated to fostering partnerships between students, industry, government agencies and other organizations. This is done by immersing teams of graduate and undergraduate students in externally sponsored design projects throughout the academic year.Since 2000, the Design Center, part of the I/UCPC, or the Industry/University Cooperative Projects Center, has had over 1600 student participants that have worked on 225 projects from 56 different organizations. Design Center projects require that at least 1500 student hours are put in per project.

JILA, formerly known as the Joint Institute for Laboratory Astrophysics, is a physical science research institute in the United States. JILA is located on the University of Colorado Boulder campus. JILA was founded in 1962 as a joint institute of The University of Colorado Boulder and the National Institute of Standards & Technology.

Folsom Field is an outdoor college football stadium in the Western United States, located on the campus of the University of Colorado in Boulder. It is the home field of the Colorado Buffaloes of the Pac-12 Conference. Opened 98 years ago in 1924, the horseshoe-shaped stadium runs in the traditional north-south configuration, opening to the north. The CU athletic administration center, named after 1950s head coach Dal Ward, is located at the north end.The playing field returned to natural grass in 1999 and sits at an elevation of 5,360 feet (1,630 m), more than a mile above sea level. Folsom Field is the third highest stadium in major college football, behind only Wyoming and Air Force of the Mountain West Conference.

The Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC), named the Space Environment Center (SEC) until 2007, is a laboratory and service center of the US National Weather Service (NWS), part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), located in Boulder, Colorado. SWPC continually monitors and forecasts Earth's space environment, providing solar-terrestrial information. SWPC is the official source of space weather alerts and warnings for the United States.
