Gijang station (Korean: 기장역; Hanja: 機張驛) is a railway station of the Donghae Line in Gijang-eup, Gijang County, Busan, South Korea.

Ilgwang Station (Korean: 일광역; Hanja: 日光驛) is a railway station of the Donghae Line in Ilgwang-myeon, Gijang County, Busan, South Korea.

Waeseong in Jukseong-ri, Gijang (機張 竹城里倭城; Gijang Jukseong-ri waseong) is located in Gijang-gun, Busan, South Korea. It is a stone fortress built by the Japanese general, Kuroda Nagamasa who was defending the area against the Korean Joseon army in about June 1593, during the second year of the Imjin War. This wall-fortress built on the stronghold in the rear coast of the village of Jukseong-ri, was 11,176 pyeongs (pyeong was a unit of area in the Joseon period) in area, about 300 metres in circumference, 4 metres in height, and three-storied. It has been called the Gijang fortress in Japan. It was placed at the strategically important point linking together the Seosaengpo Waeseong fortress in Ulsan, the Hakseong fortress and the Busanjinseong Fortress. Originally, it was built with the stones which had once constituted the Dumopojinseong fortress, so there still remain the footstones of it in a row around the villages in Dumopo. Today, the surrounding areas of the fortress are used as farming fields, but the stone wall still remains maintaining its original state relatively well.

The BMW Ladies Championship is a women's professional golf tournament in Wonju, South Korea, co-sanctioned by the LPGA of Korea Tour and the LPGA Tour. It debuted in 2019. It replaced the LPGA KEB Hana Bank Championship as the LPGA Tour's Korean stop on its Asian swing. It is a 72-hole event with a limited field of 84 players, approximately half of a full-field event. There is no cut; all players play all four rounds. Jang Ha-na won the inaugural event in a playoff over Danielle Kang.An LPGA of Korea Tour event of the same name was played from 2015 to 2017 at the Sky 72 Golf Club, home of the LPGA KEB Hana Bank Championship. Lydia Ko won in 2022, at Wonju, approximately 140 kilometres (87 mi) east of Seoul, her birthplace, for her 18th LPGA Tour victory.

Orangdae Park (Korean: 오랑대공원) is a park in Sirang-ri and Yeonhwa-ri in Gijang-eup, Gijang County, Busan, South Korea. It has also gone by the name Mirangdae (미랑대). It is open at all hours and year-round. It is reportedly unclear when it first became a park. The origin of its name is also reportedly uncertain; there's a theory that it may have descended for a word called orangkae, synonymous with "barbarian", due to historical foreign invasions. Its total area is 17,334 m2 (186,580 sq ft). It is along the coastline of Busan, and has sheer cliffs and a wide flat lawn. It has a walking trail for visitors. It is located near a Buddhist temple called Haegwangsa that was constructed in 1941. Regulated camping is reportedly possible in the park.

The National Institute of Fisheries Science (previous called National Fisheries Research and Development Institute or NFRDI), is a scientific body operated by the South Korean government, under the authority of the Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. It was first established in 1921. Subsidiary institutes operate in each of the major Korean fisheries. The NFRDI is headquartered in Gijang-eup, Gijang-gun, northern Busan.

Haedong Yonggung Temple (Korean: 해동 용궁사) is a Buddhist temple in Gijang-gun, Busan, South Korea. The temple claims it was first built in 1376, but this has been proven to be untrue. The temple complex is a large one and one of few in Korea to be set on the seaside. As such, combined with its proximity to Haeundae Beach and the east side of Busan, the temple is popular with sightseers, particularly during Buddha's Birthday celebrations when the complex is decorated with paper lanterns. It honors Haesu Gwaneum Daebul (해수관음 대불), the Sea Goddess Buddha of Mercy, who is an aspect of Guanyin.

Witbansong Station (Korean: 윗반송역; Hanja: 윗盤松驛) is a station of the Busan Metro Line 4 in Bansong-dong, Haeundae District, Busan, South Korea. The station name Dong-Pusan College which came from the nearby Dong-Pusan College was renamed to Witbansong which means the upper Bansong-dong on 1 January 2021 because Dong-Pusan College closed down in September 2020.

Bansong-dong (Korean: 반송동) is a dong (neighborhood) located in Haeundae-gu, Busan, South Korea. It is named for the ban-song (Pinus densiflora for. Multicaulis) a small pine tree still plentiful in the area. Encircled by (and encircling) hills north of Mt. Jang (Jangsan, 장산) and away from the famous Haeundae Beach, Bansong-dong has not participated in the economic growth experienced elsewhere in Haeundae-gu. The population of the three administrative dong (Bansong 1-dong, Bansong 2-dong and Bansong 3-dong) which make up Bansong-dong is 59,000.
