Detroit Day School for the Deaf (DDSD) was a public school for deaf students in Detroit, Michigan for grades Pre-Kindergarten through 8. It was a part of Detroit Public Schools. At the school, the main mode of communication was American Sign Language. When it operated, the school had an early intervention program for children who were hard of hearing and deaf; the program served 300 children.

Saint Andrew's Memorial Episcopal Church is a historic church located in Detroit, Michigan. As of 2008, it is used by Wayne State University and referred to as St. Andrew's Hall. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The Ford–Lodge interchange is a freeway interchange in Detroit, Michigan. It forms the junction of Interstate 94 (I-94, Edsel Ford Freeway), with M-10 (John C. Lodge Freeway). The interchange was completed in 1955, and is the first full freeway-to-freeway interchange in the United States.

The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 and subsequently demolished by Wayne State University and removed from the National Register of Historic Places in 2022. The site is now the location of the Yousif B. Ghafari Hall.

Frederick Douglass Academy for Young Men is a Detroit, Michigan grade 9-12 school exclusively for boys. It is a part of Detroit Public Schools (DPS), and it is the only all-male public school in the State of Michigan. It is named after Frederick Douglass and it is located in Woodbridge, in the former Murray–Wright High School.As of 2012 the school has about 200 students.

Philip J. Murray–Wright High School is a controversial secondary school in the downtown of Detroit, Michigan, United States. It is operated by Detroit Public Schools. The school serves Downtown Detroit, Midtown Detroit, and a portion of New Center. Currently the Detroit Lions Academy occupies the former Murray–Wright.

The Wayne State University College of Engineering is the engineering college of Wayne State University, a public research university in Detroit, Michigan. With more than 29,000 alumni, it is one of the largest engineering colleges in Michigan. Founded in 1933, the College of Engineering has grown to include a variety of programs ranging from civil engineering, biomedical engineering and many others. It is located on Wayne State's main campus in Detroit in a building shared with the Danto Engineering Development Center. The current dean of engineering is Ali Abolmaali.

The Chatsworth Apartments is an apartment building located in Midtown Detroit, Michigan, within the campus of Wayne State University. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

David Adamany Undergraduate Library (UGL) is one of Wayne State University’s largest libraries built in 1997 named after the university's 8th president, David Adamany.
