Woodbridge, Detroit

The former Eighth Precinct Police Station is a building located at 4150 Grand River Avenue in the Woodbridge Historic District of Detroit, Michigan, United States. It is the second-oldest police building in Detroit, and was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1973 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. The building now houses the Detroit Castle Lofts.

The Hunter House (also known as the William Northwood House or the Northwood–Hunter House) is located at 3985 Trumbull Avenue in the Woodbridge Neighborhood Historic District of Detroit, Michigan. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1974. It was previously operated as the Woodbridge Star, a bed and breakfast.

Detroit Day School for the Deaf (DDSD) was a public school for deaf students in Detroit, Michigan for grades Pre-Kindergarten through 8. It was a part of Detroit Public Schools. At the school, the main mode of communication was American Sign Language. When it operated, the school had an early intervention program for children who were hard of hearing and deaf; the program served 300 children.

Wayne State Fieldhouse is a multi-purpose arena in Detroit. It serves as the home of the Wayne State Warriors (NCAA Division II) men's and women's basketball teams and the Motor City Cruise of the NBA G League. The arena is owned by Wayne State University.

Frederick Douglass Academy for Young Men is a Detroit, Michigan grade 9-12 school exclusively for boys. It is a part of Detroit Public Schools (DPS), and it is the only all-male public school in the State of Michigan. It is named after Frederick Douglass and it is located in Woodbridge, in the former Murray–Wright High School.As of 2012 the school has about 200 students.

Philip J. Murray–Wright High School is a controversial secondary school in the downtown of Detroit, Michigan, United States. It is operated by Detroit Public Schools. The school serves Downtown Detroit, Midtown Detroit, and a portion of New Center. Currently the Detroit Lions Academy occupies the former Murray–Wright.

Saint Andrew's Memorial Episcopal Church is a historic church located in Detroit, Michigan. As of 2008, it is used by Wayne State University and referred to as St. Andrew's Hall. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The Jefferson Intermediate School is a school building located at 938 Selden Street in Detroit, Michigan. It is also known as Jefferson Junior High School or Jefferson School. The school was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

North Corktown (also known as Briggs) is a neighborhood located in Detroit, Michigan, bounded roughly by I-75 on the south, Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard on the north, I-96 on the west, and the John C. Lodge Freeway on the east. North Corktown was originally part of the Corktown neighborhood. This changed with the construction of I-75, which severed Corktown into two separate neighborhoods.
