Stadion Oberwerth

Sportpark Oberwerth is a sports complex in Koblenz, Germany. It consists of Stadion Oberwerth and Conlog Arena.

The Horchheim rail bridge (German: Horchheimer Eisenbahnbrücke) is a railway bridge across the Rhine in Koblenz, Germany. The first bridge on the site was put into operation in 1879, but was badly damaged at the end of the second world war. The bridge was temporarily restored to service in 1947, and the current bridge replaced it in 1961.

Koblenzer Brauerei (formerly Königsbacher Brauerei GmbH & Co KG) is a brewery in Koblenz, in the Rhineland-Palatinate state of Germany. Since its foundation in 1689, it has a tradition of brewing beer in the Old Brewery (Altes Brauhaus) in the historic center of Koblenz. In 1992, the Königsbacher Brewery was taken over by the Karlsberg Group. The Königsbacher Brewery's brands, but not the brewery building, were sold to the Bitburger brewery in early 2010. The brewery was sold and re-incorporated in 2012.

The German Federal Archives or Bundesarchiv (BArch) (German: Bundesarchiv) are the National Archives of Germany. They were established at the current location in Koblenz in 1952. They are subordinated to the Federal Commissioner for Culture and the Media (Claudia Roth since 2021) under the German Chancellery, and before 1998, to the Federal Ministry of the Interior.On 6 December 2008, the Archives donated 100,000 photos to the public, by making them accessible via Wikimedia Commons.

Niederlahnstein is a part of the city of Lahnstein in Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany.

Niederlahnstein station is, along with Oberlahnstein and Friedrichssegen, one of three stations in the town of Lahnstein in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is a separation station on the East Rhine Railway (German: Rechte Rheinstrecke) and the Lahn Valley Railway and is located in the Niederlahnstein district and forms a public transport hub for the Rhine-Mosel-Lahn area.

The Gau Moselland, formed as Gau Koblenz-Trier in June 1931, was an administrative division of Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945 in the Prussian Rhine Province. Before that, from 1931 to 1933, it was the regional subdivision of the Nazi Party in that area. On 24 January 1941, the Gau was renamed Gau Moselland, Mosel being the German name of the river Moselle. Following the 1940 German conquest of Luxembourg, the country was subsequently annexed on 30 August 1942 and made part of Gau Moselland.

Rhin-et-Moselle (French: [ʁɛ̃ e mɔzɛl]; German: Rhein-und-Mosel) was a department of the First French Republic and First French Empire in present-day Germany. It was named after the rivers Rhine and Moselle. It was formed in 1797, when the left bank of the Rhine was annexed by France. Until the French occupation, its territory was divided between the Archbishopric of Cologne, the Archbishopric of Trier, and the Electorate of the Palatinate. Its territory is now part of the German states of Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia. Its capital was Koblenz. After Napoleon was defeated in 1814, the department became part of Prussia.

Koblenz Charterhouse (German: Kartause Koblenz) was a Carthusian monastery, or charterhouse, in Koblenz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It stood on the Beatusberg, a hill that forms the north-easterly tip of the Hunsrück overlooking the city. The site was first occupied by a Benedictine monastery, the Kloster St. Beatusberg, which was closed in 1315, when the monks were replaced by a community of Augustinian Canons until the Carthusians took over the site in 1331.The charterhouse was damaged in the Thirty Years' War and still more in the Siege of Koblenz in 1688 during the Nine Years' War, and was largely rebuilt in the 1720s and 1730s. It was dissolved in the secularisation under Napoleon in 1802, the monks having been expelled from the premises in 1794. The buildings were put to military use and then demolished for the construction of the Prussian Fort Grossfürst Konstantin in 1822–32.The former charterhouse - German: Kartause - has given its name to the modern district of Karthause, which contains not only the fort but also a prison, a secondary school and the state archives.

Fort Constantin or Fort Grand Duke Constantine (German: Fort Großfürst Konstantin, Fort Konstantin) is a historical fortress in Koblenz-Karthause district of Koblenz, Germany, built in 1827/1828. It was part of the Prussian fortress system of Koblenz and Ehrenbreitstein. It was named after the Grand Duke Konstantin Pavlovich of Russia. Currently it is a tourist destination managed by PRO KONSTANTIN e. V.It is under the protection of the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict.

Koblenz Hauptbahnhof is a railway station in the city of Koblenz in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is the focal point of rail transport in the Rhine-Moselle-Lahn area. It is a through station in southern Koblenz built below Fort Großfürst Konstantin and opened in 1902 in the Neustadt (new city), which was built after the demolition of the city walls in 1890. The station replaced two former stations on the Left Rhine railway, which were only 900 m apart, and the former Moselle line station. Koblenz-Stadtmitte station opened in April 2011 in the old centre of Koblenz. Koblenz Hauptbahnhof is on the West Rhine Railway and connects to the Moselle line, the East Rhine Railway and to the Lahntal railway. It is used daily by about 40,000 travelers and visitors. In the station forecourt are a bus station and a pavilion. Since 2002, the station has been part of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley UNESCO World Heritage site.

The Lahn is a 245.6-kilometre-long (152.6 mi), right (or eastern) tributary of the Rhine in Germany. Its course passes through the federal states of North Rhine-Westphalia (23.0 km), Hesse (165.6 km), and Rhineland-Palatinate (57.0 km). It has its source in the Rothaargebirge, the highest part of the Sauerland. It meets the Rhine at Lahnstein, near Koblenz. Important cities along the Lahn include Marburg, Gießen, Wetzlar, Limburg an der Lahn, Weilburg and Bad Ems. Tributaries to the Lahn include the Ohm, Dill, the Weil and the Aar. The lower Lahn has many dams with locks, allowing regular shipping from its mouth up to Runkel. Riverboats also operate on a small section north of the dam in Gießen.
