Romsey Town Football Club is a football club based in Romsey, Hampshire, England. The club competes in the Wessex League Division One which is the tenth tier of English football. The club is affiliated to the Hampshire Football Association and is an FA chartered Standard club Formed in 1886, Romsey have always been around the 9th and 10th tiers of English Football but have once in their history reached the Fourth Qualifying Round of the FA Cup in the 1990–91 season. They were among the founding members of the Wessex League in 1986. The club plays at the AEC Protection Ground (previously known as the Bypass Ground) which they moved to in 1956.

Crampmoor is a village and civil parish in the Test Valley district of Hampshire, England. It is in the civil parish of Romsey Extra. Its nearest town is Romsey, which lies approximately 2 miles (3.1 km) west from the village. There was no local church in Crampmoor and church services were held in large room in James Feltham’s house at New Pond. In 1858 Caroline Rolfe of New Pond and her sister-in-law Jane Feltham, also of New Pond and Caroline Suckling of Highwood House, all equally donated the funds to build a combined St Swithun's church and school room which was completed in 1859.

Romsey railway station serves the town of Romsey in Hampshire, England. It is on the Wessex Main Line, at the junction for the Eastleigh to Romsey Line, 80 miles 47 chains (129.7 km) from London Waterloo. The station is a Grade II listed building.

Romsey was a seat of the House of Commons of the UK Parliament 1983–2010 which accordingly (as with all seats since 1950) elected one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. Romsey Abbey, the largest parish church in Hampshire, dominates the centre of the town. Other notable buildings include a 13th-century hunting lodge, an 18th-century coaching inn and the 19th-century corn exchange.

The Sir Harold Hillier Gardens is an arboretum comprising 72 hectares (180 acres) accommodating over 42,000 trees and shrubs in about 12,000 taxa, notably a collection of oaks, camellia, magnolia and rhododendron.The Gardens are located 5 km (3 mi) northeast of the town of Romsey in Hampshire, England, and were formerly known simply as the Hillier Arboretum, founded by nurseryman Harold Hillier in June 1953 when he acquired Jermyn's House and its grounds. The arboretum was given to Hampshire County Council in 1977 to be managed as a charitable trust. Sir Harold Hillier was knighted in 1983, just two years before his death at age 80 in 1985.The Gardens were listed as Grade II on the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens in 1997.

The Corn Exchange is a commercial building in the Corn Market, Romsey, Hampshire, England. The structure, which has been used extensively as a bank branch, is a Grade II* listed building.
