Bishops Waltham railway station was a railway station in Bishop's Waltham, Hampshire, England. The station was the terminus of the 3.75 mile branch line that connected to the main line at Botley railway station. It opened on 1 June 1863, and closed to passengers on 2 January 1933. After closure to freight in 1962 it was demolished in 1965 and the site is now a roundabout.

Bishop's Waltham (or Bishops Waltham) is a medieval market town situated at the source of the River Hamble in Hampshire, England. It has a foot in the South Downs National Park and is located at the midpoint of a long-established route between Winchester and Portsmouth. It is home to the ruins of Bishop's Waltham Palace, a Scheduled Ancient Monument under English Heritage management, and a well-preserved high street with many listed buildings which now house independent shops. Bishop's Waltham's long history includes a roll call of Medieval and Tudor kings and queens who visited the town to stay at the palace. The name of the town is derived from the Anglo-Saxon words: "wald" (forest) and "ham" (settlement).Modern day Bishop's Waltham has a population of over 6,723 and is the largest settlement in the Winchester district outside the city itself. It is home to an infant and junior school.

The Moors, Bishop's Waltham is a 28-hectare (69-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Bishop's Waltham in Hampshire. It is a Nature Conservation Review and an area of 14.5 hectares (36 acres) is a Local Nature Reserve, which is owned and managed by Hampshire County Council.These unimproved wet meadows and alder carr drain into Mill Pond at the centre of the site. The meadows have a rich and diverse flora, dominated by greater pond sedge in wetter areas, while there are plants such as purple moor-grass and meadow foxtail in drier parts.

King's Way or the Allan King Way is a 45-mile-long-distance (72 km) footpath in Hampshire, England. This footpath was created by the Hampshire Area of the Ramblers' Association as a memorial to the late Allan King a former Publicity Officer who was partly responsible for the formation of a number of Groups in Hampshire. The route runs from Portchester to Winchester via Bishops Waltham and passes by sites such as Portchester Castle, Fort Nelson and Bishops Waltham Palace The footpath is waymarked by metal and plastic disks found attached to wooden and metal posts, trees and street furniture, marked "Allan Kings Way". Where the route coincides with the same route as other long-distance paths, the waymarking is not continuous. There is a free downloadable guide book to the route available on the Eastleigh Ramblers web site. This route is shown as a series of green diamonds on Ordnance Survey 1:25,000 maps and as a series of red diamonds on Ordnance Survey 1:50,000 maps.

Dundridge Meadows is a 7.5-hectare (19-acre) Local Nature Reserve near Bishop's Waltham in Hampshire. It is owned by Hampshire County Council and managed by Hampshire County Council Countryside Service.These meadows are chalk grassland managed for hay. There are also two ponds, ancient woodlands and species-rich hedges. Flowering plants include cowslips and hayrattle.
