Del Norte is a Statutory Town that is the county seat of Rio Grande County, Colorado, United States. The town's name is most commonly pronounced /ˈdɛl nɔɹt/. The town population was 1,458 at the 2020 United States Census.

Patriot Bible University (PBU), formerly known as Patriot University, is an unaccredited Independent Baptist correspondence school located in Del Norte, Colorado, which issues religious degrees only. According to the State of Colorado, Patriot's "degrees or diplomas have no state recognition". PBU is not accredited by any agency recognized by the Department of Education. It has been called a diploma mill, lacking sufficient academic standards to award degrees.

The Keck Homestead, near Del Norte, Colorado, was homesteaded in 1876. It includes four log buildings built by Christian Keck and his sons, at a high altitude.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The listing included two contributing buildings and two contributing structures on 60 acres (24 ha).The house is a two-story L-shaped building on a dry stone foundation.
