Saint-Charles River (Varennes)

The rivière aux Pins (English: Pine River) is a tributary of the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River, flowing in the city of Boucherville, in the administrative region of Montérégie, southwest of province of Quebec, in Canada. The intermediate part of this watercourse delimits the agricultural area and the urban area of Boucherville. The river surface is generally frozen from mid-December to the end of March. Safe circulation on the ice is generally done from the end of December to the beginning of March. The water level of the river varies with the seasons and the precipitation.

Montréal/Boucherville Water Aerodrome (TC LID: CTA7) was located on the Saint Lawrence River near Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The airport was listed as abandoned in the 15 March 2007 Canada Flight Supplement.

Sainte-Anne de Varennes Basilica (French: Basilique Sainte-Anne-de-Varennes) is a Roman Catholic minor basilica dedicated to the Saint Anne located in Varennes, Quebec, Canada. The basilica is under the circumscription of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saint-Jean-Longueuil. The basilica was decreed on June 18, 1993.

Marguerite-D'Youville is a regional county municipality located in the Montérégie region of southwestern Quebec, Canada. The seat is in Verchères. The RCM was formerly named Lajemmerais Regional County Municipality, after Christophe du Frost de Lajemmerais, the father of Marguerite d'Youville. On February 12, 2011, the name was changed to honour d'Youville directly. However, Statistics Canada retained the name "Lajemmerais" for the 2011 census because the name change came after its reference date of January 1, 2011. Since the 2016 census, the name has correctly been displayed as "Marguerite-D'Youville."

Varennes is an off-island suburb of Montreal, in southwestern Quebec, Canada, on the Saint Lawrence River in the Marguerite-D'Youville Regional County Municipality. The city is approximately 24 kilometres (15 mi) from Downtown Montreal. The population as of the Canada 2011 Census was 20,994. In 2015, the population is listed at 24,000.

Verchères is a provincial riding in the Montérégie region of Quebec, Canada. It corresponds exactly to the territory of Marguerite-D'Youville Regional County Municipality. It was created for the 1867 election (and an electoral district of that name existed earlier in the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Canada and the Legislative Assembly of Lower Canada). It disappeared in the 1939 election and its successor electoral district was Richelieu-Verchères; however, it was re-created for the 1944 election. In the change from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map, it lost Saint-Roch-de-Richelieu to the riding of Richelieu, La Présentation to the riding of Saint-Hyacinthe, and several municipalities to the riding of Borduas, but gained Sainte-Julie from the defunct riding of Marguerite-D'Youville. Sainte-Julie is now the biggest municipality in the district

Îles-de-Boucherville National Park is a provincial park of the province of Quebec. It is administered by Sépaq, the Société des établissements de plein air du Québec, which manages several Quebec parks and wildlife refuges. All provincial parks in Quebec have used the term "national park" since 2002, but there is no connection to the federal national park system, administered by Parks Canada.

Île Sainte-Thérèse (English: Sainte-Thérèse Island) is an island of the Saint Lawrence River, located northeast of Island of Montreal. Administratively attached to the municipality of Varennes, located in the Marguerite-D'Youville Regional County Municipality, in Montérégie, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. This island has an area of approximately 5.4 square kilometres (2.1 sq mi), making it the fifth most extensive island in the Hochelaga Archipelago.

Roussin Academy High School was located in Pointe-aux-Trembles (12085-1212, rue Notre-Dame Est), a district in the eastern part of Montreal. The school served the English-speaking Catholic population of Pointe-aux-Trembles, Montreal-Est, Anjou , and some off-island cities including Charlemagne. Roussin was amalgamated into Laurier Macdonald High School in the 1983–84 school year. It was also originally Napoleon Courtemanche High School is in a different location. Roussin Academy was part of a school board called Commission Scolaire Jérôme-Le-Royer and was opened due to a great demand for English-speaking students that could not go to Laurier Macdonald High School because of overpopulation. The school commission took over the Roussin Academy building in 1971 and ran the school there until 1983. The last graduating class of Roussin Academy was the class of 1983.

The Terminus De Montarville was inaugurated November 20, 2007 by the former Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT) & the city of Boucherville. The bus terminus was built on the corner of Quebec route 132 and Boulevard De Montarville. It includes a 308 car and 35 bicycle capacity parking and seven waiting areas for buses on two bus platforms.It was built to help transfers between Boucherville's RTL bus lines 61, 80 and 85, and CIT Sorel-Varennes bus lines 700, 720, 721 and 722 on April 7, 2008.These buses link to Longueuil terminus and Radisson station. On June 1, 2017, the AMT was dissolved and replaced by two new governing bodies: the Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM) and the Réseau de transport métropolitain (RTM). The RTM took over all former AMT services, including the operation of the station.

Boucherville is a city in the Montérégie region in Quebec, Canada. It is a suburb of Montreal on the South shore of the Saint Lawrence River. Boucherville is part of both the urban agglomeration of Longueuil and Montreal Metropolitan Community regional government.

The Sabrevois River is a tributary of the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, flowing in the city of Boucherville, in the administrative region of Montérégie, southwest of province of Quebec, in Canada. The upper part of this watercourse crosses the agricultural zone between autoroute 30 and route 132. This upper part is mainly accessible via the chemin du rang Lustucru. The lower part passes the urban area of Boucherville by cutting De Montbrun street, De Montarville boulevard and route 132. The river surface is generally frozen from mid-December to the end of March. Safe circulation on the ice is generally done from the end of December to the beginning of March. The water level of the river varies with the seasons and the precipitation.
