Pentyrch railway station served the village of Pentyrch, in the historical county of Glamorgan, Wales, from 1840 to 1863 on the Taff Vale Railway.

Radyr railway station is a railway station serving the Radyr area of Cardiff, South Wales. It is at the foot of the hill at the eastern edge of the village, alongside the River Taff and adjacent to the Taff Trail. The station is on the Merthyr Line, and is also the northern terminus of the City Line.

Christ Church is a Grade II listed Anglican church in Radyr, Cardiff, Wales. It is a daughter church of St John's in Danescourt, despite being considerably larger. The church was begun in 1903, designed by G.E. Halliday, the Diocesan Surveyor for Llandaff. It was built in response to the growth in the populations of Radyr and Morganstown in the late Victorian years. The nave was first used on Easter Sunday 1904. The dedication stone was laid by Robert Windsor-Clive, 1st Earl of Plymouth, who held the title of Viscount Windsor at nearby St Fagans and had donated the land upon which the church was built. He had formerly served as Cardiff's mayor in the 1890s. The chancel, vestry and tower were added in 1910. An extension, housing parish function rooms, was added in the late 20th century. The original vestry is now a chapel.

The Glamorganshire Canal local nature reserve is a nature reserve in Whitchurch, Cardiff, Wales. Formed in 1967, it comprises a disused section of the Glamorganshire Canal (constructed 1794), the Long Wood (designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest) and an area of the flood plain of the River Taff. The reserve is also known as Forest Farm, and the old farm buildings are used to support the reserve.The water in the canal is relatively clean for an ex-industrial area, and supports several species of waterbirds, including kingfishers and herons. It is one of the few British nest sites of the Eurasian bittern. The Long Wood is chiefly oak and beech, with several trees over 200 years old.In 1992 the reserve was included in the newly declared Forest Farm Country Park which covered approximately 150 acres (60 ha).The reserve is supported by the Friends of Forest Farm, who organise educational events and support Cardiff Council in the protection and maintenance of the nature reserve.

Radyr (Welsh: Radur) is an outer suburb of Cardiff, about 4 miles (6.4 km) northwest of Cardiff city centre. Radyr is part of Radyr and Morganstown Community, for which the 2011 Census recorded a population of 6,417.Morganstown is north of Radyr, on the other side of the M4 Motorway. Neighbouring communities are Whitchurch to the east on the opposite bank of the River Taff, Pentyrch to the west with St Fagans and Llandaff to the south.

Radyr Golf Club is a golf course in Radyr, northwestern Cardiff, Wales. It is the oldest existing golf club in Cardiff, established on 29 November 1902, following the breakup of Lisvane Golf Club, the preceding year.

Radyr Comprehensive School (Welsh: Ysgol Gyfun Radur) is an 11–18 mixed comprehensive school and sixth form college in Radyr, Cardiff, Wales that was established in 1972. The current roll is around 1,295 students, with around 280 of those in the sixth form.The school is controlled by the Cardiff Education Authority. For the 2000–01 school year, demand for places from parents exceeded supply.

Tongwynlais is a village and community in the north of Cardiff, Wales, north of the M4 motorway in the Taff Valley. It is notable as the location of the hillside landmark, Castell Coch. The population as of the 2011 census was 1871.
