The Harlequin Puppet Theatre (founded 1958) is a puppet theatre at Rhos-on-Sea, Wales. Britain's oldest permanent puppet theatre, the Harlequin was built in 1958 by Eric Bramall and was later run by his former puppeteer partner, Chris Somerville, who died in 2023. The small, 100-seat theatre is home to a collection of approximately 1,000 marionettes that featured in puppet shows during Britain's school holiday seasons.

Penrhyn Avenue is a cricket ground in Colwyn Bay, Wales. The ground was first used by the Glamorgan 1st XI in 1966, although County Championship matches have only been an annual fixture since 1990 (with the exception of 1991 and 1996). In 2015, the ground hosted a County Championship match against Lancashire, during which Lancashire batsmen Ashwell Prince and Alviro Petersen put on a ground record partnership of 501 for the third wicket. The ground was most recently used by Glamorgan in 2019 for a County Championship match, against Lancashire. A proposed game in 2022 was moved to Cardiff and Glamorgan did not play at Penrhyn Avenue in 2023.The ground has hosted 32 first-class matches and 28 List A matches, as well as several matches in the Minor Counties Championship, both for Denbighshire and the Wales Minor Counties.

St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church is on Conway Road, Colwyn Bay, in Conwy County Borough, Wales. The Roman Catholic parish church of Colwyn Bay, it is part of the Diocese of Wrexham.

Rydal Penrhos School is a private day school in Colwyn Bay, North Wales. It is the only Methodist school in the independent sector in Wales. It is located on multiple sites around the town with a site in the neighbouring village of Rhos-on-Sea where it keeps its watersports equipment for easy access to the beach.

The ruined remains of Llys Euryn (Welsh: [ˈɛirɪn]; AYR-in) sit upon a wooded shoulder of Bryn Euryn — a limestone hill on the outskirts of Rhos-on-Sea (Welsh: Llandrillo-yn-Rhos) in the county of Conwy, north Wales. Three sides of the building remain, with the remains of interior walls, a complete fireplace and chimney stack rising to around 50 feet, two other fireplaces and windows. More than anything else, its history makes this one of the more intriguing and important historical buildings in north Wales.

Bryn Euryn (Welsh: [ˈɛirɪn]; AYR-in) is a hill which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest in Conwy County Borough, Wales. There is a trig point at the summit. It lies above the seaside town of Rhos-on-Sea and village of Mochdre, Conwy. It is 131 metres (430 feet) above sea level, and is listed as a HuMP. At the bottom of the hill are the remains of Llys Euryn.

The Welsh Mountain Zoo (Welsh: Sŵ Fynydd Gymreig) is a zoological garden located near the town of Colwyn Bay in Conwy County Borough, Wales. The zoo was opened on 18 May 1963 by the wildlife enthusiast and naturalist Robert Jackson. The zoo covers an area of 37 acres (15 ha).

Colwyn Bay railway station (Welsh: Bae Colwyn) is on the Crewe to Holyhead North Wales Coast Line serving the seaside town of Colwyn Bay in North Wales.

St David's Welsh Church, Colwyn Bay (Eglwys Dewi Sant) is in Rhiw Road, Colwyn Bay, Conwy County Borough, Wales. It is an Anglican church in the parish of Colwyn Bay with Bryn-Y-Maen, the deanery of Rhos, the archdeaconry of St Asaph, and the diocese of St Asaph. The church is situated behind St Paul's Church and is a Grade II listed building.St David's Church was built in 1902–03 and designed by the Chester firm of architects Douglas and Minshull. It is a small church with an apsidal sanctuary. The west window is Perpendicular in style. Rising from the roof is a square bellcote with a pyramidal roof on which is an octagonal spirelet. Internally, the screen was made by a local blacksmith, David Jones.As its name suggests, the services held in the church are in Welsh.

St Paul's Church, Colwyn Bay is an active Anglican parish church in the town of Colwyn Bay, Wales. It is located in the deanery of Rhos, the archdeaconry of St Asaph, and the Diocese of St Asaph. The church is designated by Cadw as a Grade II* listed building.

Victoria Pier is a pier in the seaside resort of Colwyn Bay, Wales. The pier fell into disrepair and much of it was demolished, it was reopened in 2021 with a reduced length. Visitors can access the pier and see the bay along its length. Some of the original metalwork remains and retains the legal status of a grade-II listed structure. Designed by Mangnall and Littlewoods the pier opened in 1900 and was extended in 1903 to the length of 227m. The first two pavilions built on the pier were destroyed by fire along with a bijou theatre. The third pavilion was built in 1934 and was significantly extended and altered in the 1970s to allow for nightclub and amusement arcade entertainments. From the late 1980s, the pier began to decline with the seaward portion of the pier being closed due to a poor state of repair. The condition of the pier and the entertainments continued to decline until 2008 when it closed. In 2017, part of the pier collapsed onto the beach below. Much of the pier was demolished and then in 2021, reopened without any pavilions or structures.

Coleg Llandrillo (English meaning: Llandrillo College) is a college in the north of Wales. After its merger in 2012, Grwp Llandrillo Menai became Wales' largest further education institution.
