Taoranqiao station

Beijingnan (Beijing South) railway station (Chinese: 北京南站; pinyin: Běijīngnán Zhàn) is a large railway station in Fengtai District, Beijing, about 7.5 km (4.7 mi) south of central Beijing, between the 2nd and 3rd ring roads. The station in its present form opened on 1 August 2008 and mainly serves high speed trains. The current station replaced the old Beijing South station, originally known as Majiapu railway station and later renamed Yongdingmen railway station, which stood 500 meters (1,600 ft) away. This station was in use from 1897 to 2006.The new Beijing South railway station is the city's largest station, and is one of the largest in Asia. It joins the main Beijing railway station and the Beijing West railway station as one of three main passenger rail hubs in the Chinese capital. It serves as the terminus for high-speed trains on the Beijing–Tianjin intercity railway and Beijing–Shanghai high-speed Railway which can reach speeds up to 350 km/h (217 mph). CRH night sleepers to and from Shanghai also depart from this station. The station integrates two Beijing Subway line stations, bus hubs (including an airport shuttle bus), and taxi stands, into the same building, and includes a wide variety of restaurants in the station itself.

Taoranting Park (simplified Chinese: 陶然亭公园; traditional Chinese: 陶然亭公園; pinyin: Táorántíng Gōngyuán, also known as Leasure Pavilion Park or Taoran Pavilion Park) is a major city park located in Xicheng District to the north of Beijing South railway station, in the southern part of the city. A former location for literati to get together, while most of Beijing's gardens were reserved only for imperial families during the Qing dynasty, it gained its name from a poem by the Tang dynasty poet Bai Juyi, "Wait till the chrysanthemums are yellow and home-made wine is ripe, (I'll) drink with you and be carefree."(更待菊黄家酿熟，与君一醉一陶然). The park has a total area of 59 acres (240,000 m2), and water area accounts for 17 acres (69,000 m2). It was built in 1952. There are Cibei An, Taoran Pavilion in it. It also hosts the tomb of the lovers Gao Junyu and Shi Pingmei. This story has been retold in a book and a film. Gao Junyu and Shi's graves are a place of pilgrimage for young couples as well as that of Sai Jinhua. The history of this park could be traced back to the Qing dynasty. The Taoran Pavilion was built in the 34th year of the Kangxi Emperor's reign (1695). The chief engineer, Jiang Zao (江藻), who supervised the kiln workshop, oversaw the construction. There is also an old temple, which was built during the Yuan dynasty (1276–1368), located within the park. The park has a lake with many pavilions scattered around its bank. It is popular with residents and visitors for walking and boating.

Xiannongtan Stadium (Simplified Chinese: 先农坛体育场) is a multi-use stadium in Beijing, China. It is located in Dongcheng District and is named after Xiannongtan, the Altar of Agriculture, located nearby. This stadium was built in 1936 and was named Beiping Public Stadium (Simplified Chinese: 北平公共体育场). It was renovated between November 1986 to September 1988. The stadium has a capacity of 24,000 and it is used mainly for football matches.

Temple of Agriculture (simplified Chinese: 先农坛; traditional Chinese: 先農壇; pinyin: xiān nóng tán) or Altar of Agriculture is a historic site in Xuanwu District of Beijing, China, and located near the Temple of Heaven.

Yongdingmen (simplified Chinese: 永定门; traditional Chinese: 永定門; pinyin: Yǒngdìngmén), literally meaning “Gate of Perpetual Peace”, was the former front gate of the outer city of Beijing's old city wall. Originally built in 1553 during Ming Dynasty, it was torn down in the 1950s to make way for the new road system in Beijing. In 2005, the Yongdingmen was reconstructed at the site of the old city gate. This new gate is disconnected from the original road leading towards the gate and into the city (see photograph below). During the Boxer Rebellion, on 11 June 1900, the secretary of the Japanese legation, Sugiyama Akira (杉山 彬), was attacked and killed by the Muslim soldiers of General Dong Fuxiang near Yongdingmen, who were guarding the southern part of the Beijing walled city.

Muxiyuan station (Chinese: 木樨园站; pinyin: Mùxīyuán zhàn) is a station on Line 8 of the Beijing Subway. It was opened on December 30, 2018.

Jingfengmen station (simplified Chinese: 景风门站; traditional Chinese: 景風門站; pinyin: Jǐngfēngmén zhàn) is a station on Lines 14 and 19 of the Beijing Subway in Fengtai District.

Taoranting Station (Chinese: 陶然亭站; pinyin: Táorántíng Zhàn) is a subway station on Line 4 of the Beijing Subway.

Majiapu (simplified Chinese: 马家堡站; traditional Chinese: 馬家堡站; pinyin: Mǎjiāpù Zhàn) is a station on Line 4 of the Beijing Subway.

Tianqiao station (simplified Chinese: 天桥站; traditional Chinese: 天橋站; pinyin: Tiānqiáo zhàn) is a station on Line 8 of the Beijing Subway. It was opened on December 30, 2018.

You'anmen Subdistrict (Chinese: 右安门街道; pinyin: Yòu'ānmén Jiēdào) is one of the 14 subdistricts of Fengtai District, Beijing, China. It is located on the eastern part of Fengtai, south of Baizhifang and Taoranting Subdistricts, west of Yongdingmenwai Subdistrict, north of Xiluoyuan Subdistrict, and east of Nanyuan, Lugouqiao and Taipingqiao Townships. The subdistrict is home to a population of 73,499 as of 2020.The subdistrict got its name You'anmen (Chinese: 右安门; lit. 'Right Peace Gate') from the former city gate of Beijing's outer city wall that used to stand in the region.

Yongdingmenwai station (simplified Chinese: 永定门外站; traditional Chinese: 永定門外站; pinyin: Yǒngdìngménwài zhàn) is an interchange station on Line 8 and Line 14 of the Beijing Subway. The Line 14 station was opened on December 26, 2015. The Line 8 station was opened on December 30, 2018.
