Pigeon Pass Valley, is a valley in Riverside County, California. Its mouth lies at an elevation of 1,696 feet/517 meters above Poorman Reservoir. Its head lies on the south slope of the northwest extreme of the ridge of Reche Summit mountain at 33°59′53″N 117°16′09″W, northeast of Pigeon Pass.

Also, the mall was then valued at $66 million, far less than its original valuation of $107 million.Moreno Valley Mall directly contracts with the local Police Service as well as private security firm for security services.In 2015, Sears Holdings spun off 235 of its properties, including the Sears at Moreno Valley Mall, into Seritage Growth Properties.International Growth Properties purchased Moreno Valley Mall in November 2017 for $63 million.On November 7, 2019, it was announced that Sears would be closing this location a part of a plan to close 96 stores nationwide. The store closed on February 2, 2020.

KVCR (91.9 MHz) is an FM non-commercial public radio station in located San Bernardino, California, broadcasting to the Riverside-San Bernardino-Inland Empire area. It is owned by the San Bernardino Community College District, along with channel 24 KVCR-DT. KVCR asks for donations from its listeners, especially during fundraisers, usually held for a week, several times per year. KVCR's radio format airs news/talk syndicated programming from National Public Radio, Public Radio International and American Public Media, branded as "NPR 91.9". KVCR's studios are located on the San Bernardino Valley College campus on North Mt. Vernon Avenue in San Bernardino, and its transmitter is located atop Box Springs Mountain.

KVCR-DT (channel 24) is a PBS member television station in San Bernardino, California, United States. It is owned by the San Bernardino Community College District alongside NPR member KVCR (91.9 FM). The two stations share studios at the San Bernardino Valley College campus on North Mt. Vernon Avenue in San Bernardino; KVCR-DT's transmitter is located atop Box Springs Mountain. KVCR is Southern California's oldest operating public television station, beginning broadcasts in September 1962. As public stations signed on in the Los Angeles area, KVCR continued to provide local programming for the Inland Empire as well as telecourses from San Bernardino Valley College and instructional content for schools. The station had a limited broadcast range until it moved its transmitter to Box Springs Mountain in 1983. In the 2000s, KVCR replaced KOCE as the public television station broadcast into the Coachella Valley, including Palm Springs; it continues to operate a translator and provide a dedicated subchannel, KVCR PBS Desert Cities, for this area. KVCR is also the founding station for the First Nations Experience network, which was started in 2010 with a gift from the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. State government support in the early 2020s forestalled a cost-cutting plan which would have seen the KVCR stations switch from public media to student-run outlets. KVCR produces local programming for the Inland Empire.

KOLA has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 29,500 watts. Adding in its tower that is taller than the Empire State Building, KOLA is considered a "superpower" FM station. The transmitter is on Box Spring Mountain Road amid other FM and TV towers for Inland Empire stations.

Riverside International Raceway (sometimes known as Riverside, RIR, or Riverside Raceway) was a motorsports race track and road course established in the Edgemont area of Riverside County, California, just east of the city limits of Riverside and 50 mi (80 km) east of Los Angeles, in 1957. In 1984, the raceway became part of the newly incorporated city of Moreno Valley. Riverside was noted for its hot, dusty environment, which was a dangerous challenge for drivers. It was also considered one of the finest tracks in the United States. The track was in operation from September 22, 1957, to July 2, 1989, with the last race, The Budweiser 400, won by Rusty Wallace, held in 1988. After that final race, a shortened version of the circuit was kept open for car clubs and special events until 1989.

It is the second-largest city in Riverside County by population and one of the Inland Empire's population centers. The city's population was 208,634 at the 2020 census. Moreno Valley is also part of the larger greater Los Angeles area. The city derived its name from the small community of Moreno, which became part of the city of Moreno Valley when the city was incorporated in 1984. Frank E. Brown, one of the founders of the community of Moreno in 1882, declined to have the town named after him, but to honor him, the town was named Moreno, Spanish for brown.
