Pigeon Pass Valley, is a valley in Riverside County, California. Its mouth lies at an elevation of 1,696 feet/517 meters above Poorman Reservoir. Its head lies on the south slope of the northwest extreme of the ridge of Reche Summit mountain at 33°59′53″N 117°16′09″W, northeast of Pigeon Pass.

Canyon Springs High School is a public high school located in Moreno Valley, California. Founded in 1987, it is part of the Moreno Valley Unified School District. In early 2019, The Moreno Valley Unified School district began to prepare plans to modernize the facilities at Canyon Springs. This modernization would be a step in the Measure M plan. The modernization is separated into four Phases. Phase I includes a 2-Story Classroom building with 8 Science Classrooms and 16 standard classrooms. A multi-purpose room will include a replacement kitchen and a new music room. Phase II includes new solar panels in the parking lots for anyone at Canyon Springs, and the modernization of the Administration building and the classrooms in Building A. Phase III includes the modernization of the Cougar Canyon Gymnasium as well as existing classrooms and science labs on the facility. Phase IV includes the modernization of the library as well as the removal of portables.

Reche Canyon (historically known as Homhoa Canyon, Homoa Canyon, and Homuba Canyon) is a canyon in the far northwestern foothills of the San Jacinto Mountains, northwest of The Badlands in the Inland Empire region of Southern California. The Tongva village of Homhoangna, from which the canyon's alternative names derives, was located here.The county line between San Bernardino County and Riverside County is at the approximate midway point of the canyon; the San Bernardino half to the north is mostly within the boundaries of Colton, with a small area in Loma Linda, while the southern half is unincorporated territory of Riverside County. C. Penney, May Company California, and Harris Department Stores and had 140 specialty stores.In the early years competition for tenants divided prospects between competing developers. In September 1996 the City confirmed that lower than anticipated revenues would result in a shortfall estimated to extend the payback period of the $13 million infrastructure loan to an estimated 2026 with the loan peaking at $19.5 million. Also, the mall was then valued at $66 million, far less than its original valuation of $107 million.Moreno Valley Mall directly contracts with the local Police Service as well as private security firm for security services.In 2015, Sears Holdings spun off 235 of its properties, including the Sears at Moreno Valley Mall, into Seritage Growth Properties.International Growth Properties purchased Moreno Valley Mall in November 2017 for $63 million.On November 7, 2019, it was announced that Sears would be closing this location a part of a plan to close 96 stores nationwide. The store closed on February 2, 2020.

Riverside International Raceway (sometimes known as Riverside, RIR, or Riverside Raceway) was a motorsports race track and road course established in the Edgemont area of Riverside County, California, just east of the city limits of Riverside and 50 mi (80 km) east of Los Angeles, in 1957. In 1984, the raceway became part of the newly incorporated city of Moreno Valley. Riverside was noted for its hot, dusty environment, which was a dangerous challenge for drivers. It was also considered one of the finest tracks in the United States. The track was in operation from September 22, 1957, to July 2, 1989, with the last race, The Budweiser 400, won by Rusty Wallace, held in 1988. After that final race, a shortened version of the circuit was kept open for car clubs and special events until 1989.

The Riverside University Health System - Medical Center, or RUHS-MC, formerly Riverside County Regional Medical Center, or RCRMC, and also formerly Riverside General Hospital University Medical Center, or RGH UMC, is a public teaching hospital located at 26520 Cactus Avenue, Moreno Valley, California, United States, operated by the County of Riverside. It is classified as a Level I Trauma Center. Founded in 1893, and originally located in downtown Riverside, California, the hospital has since relocated. The current facility opened on March 31, 1998, but for the greatest part of its history the hospital was located at 9851 Magnolia Avenue in Riverside. While at that location, and operating under the name Riverside General Hospital University Medical Center, two nationally followed patient stories developed. The case of the first patient, Elizabeth Bouvia, in 1983, eventually resulted in a landmark court decision that allows mentally competent adults to refuse forced feeding by patient care facilities, allowing for the possibility of starvation, if the patient cannot otherwise ingest adequate nutrition. The second patient, Gloria Ramirez, in 1994 died in unusual circumstances in which a number of her care-givers were seriously sickened and fainted by what were claimed to be fumes emanating from Ramirez's body.
