Park & Market is a station of the Blue, Orange, and Silver Lines on the San Diego Trolley. It is located in the East Village neighborhood of the city and serves the high density residential developments that surround the stop. This station was renovated from July 9, 2012 until September 2012, as part of the Trolley Renewal Project.

Thomas Jefferson School of Law (TJSL) is a private law school in San Diego, California. It offers a Juris Doctor and three Master of Laws programs, including one that is exclusively online, as well as a combined J.D./M.B.A. with San Diego State University. The school is not approved by the American Bar Association (ABA), following the ABA's withdrawal of approval in December 2019. However, it is currently approved by the California State Bar’s Committee of Bar Examiners. As a result, graduates are generally not able to take the bar or practice law outside of California.

City College is a light rail station on the San Diego Trolley's Orange, Blue, and Silver Lines. It is located in the East Village neighborhood of the city and serves students at San Diego City College and San Diego High School, workers at warehouse facilities located on the outskirts of Downtown, and an increasing number of new apartment complexes.This station was closed from September 10, 2012 until November 16, 2012, for renovations as part of the Trolley Renewal Project, during which a temporary stop was erected one block away on C Street between 10th and 11th Avenues.

San Diego City College (City College or City) is a public community college in San Diego, California. It is part of the San Diego Community College District and the California Community College System. San Diego City College is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC). City College is located in Downtown San Diego. The 60-acre (24 ha) campus consists of 40 buildings, and is adjacent to Balboa Park, the I-5 freeway and San Diego High School. Courses are provided in general education, lower-division transfer programs, and occupational and developmental education.

The Mark is the 17th tallest building in San Diego, California and is a prominent fixture in San Diego's skyline. It has a height of 381 ft (116 m) and 259 units. Located in the East Village district of Downtown San Diego, The Mark is a 33-story building that utilizes the postmodern architectural style and was designed by the architect firms Martinez & Cutri Corp. and Shears Adkins Architects, LLC.

e3 Civic High School is a public charter secondary school in San Diego, California, United States. It is an independent charter school that opened in September 2013 and is accredited by the Western Association of Secondary Schools. It is housed on the sixth and seventh floors of the city's central public library in Downtown San Diego and is billed as the first public school in the United States to be located inside a library.

Independent Order of Odd Fellows Building is a historic building in San Diego, California's Gaslamp Quarter. Built in 1882, the Odd Fellows Building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Vantage Pointe Condominium is a high-rise 40 Story building in San Diego. Bounded by Ninth and tenth Avenues, and A and B Streets, construction began in 2006 and ended in 2008. It is one of Downtown San Diego's largest apartment buildings, surpassed only by the Pinnacle West Tower by about 60 feet. In 2009 the building's owners announced they will refund all the purchase deposits made for its units.Architect critics have criticized the building's lack of "human-scale relationship at street level," thus earning it the "Grand Onion" award by the San Diego Architectural Foundation.
