Al-Malkiyya

Malkia (Hebrew: מַלְכִּיָּה) is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located near the Lebanese border and Kiryat Shmona, it falls under the jurisdiction of Upper Galilee Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 436.

Kedesh (alternate spellings: Qedesh, Cadesh, Cydessa) was an ancient Canaanite and later Israelite settlement in Upper Galilee, mentioned few times in the Hebrew Bible. Its remains are located in Tel Kedesh, 3 km northeast of the modern Kibbutz Malkiya in Israel on the Israeli-Lebanese border.As Qadas (also Cadasa; Arabic: قدس), it was a Palestinian village located 17 kilometers northeast of Safad that was depopulated during the 1948 Arab–Israeli war. One of seven villages populated by Shia Muslims, called Metawalis, that fell within the boundaries of British Mandate Palestine, Qadas is today known as the tell of the ancient biblical city of Kedesh. The village of Qadas contained many natural springs which served as the village water supply and a Roman temple dating back to the 2nd century AD.

Dishon (Hebrew: דִּישׁוֹן) is a moshav in northern Israel. It is located near the border with Lebanon, within the Naftali Mountains, near the Dishon Stream. It falls under the jurisdiction of Mevo'ot HaHermon Regional Council. As of 2021 it had a population of 335.Dishon was established in 1953 by Jewish immigrants from Libya, on land belonging to the depopulated Arab Palestinian village of Dayshum. Its name is a variation of the name of the Palestinian village.Dishon ATVs is the oldest ATV tours company in Israel, offering offroad trips by ATV and jeep in the Galilee, Hula Valley and Golan Heights.In the 2023 conflict between Hamas and Israel, Hezbollah targeted northern Israeli border communities, forcing evacuations, including in Dishon.

Dayshum (Arabic: ديشوم) was a Palestinian village, depopulated on 30 October 1948 by the Sheva Brigade of Israeli paramilitary force Palmach in an offensive called Operation Hiram, where the village has been destroyed, and only house rubble left behind. The village was located 12 kilometers (7.5 mi) north of Safed, 600 meters (2,000 ft) above sea level.

Avivim (Hebrew: אֲבִיבִים), is a moshav in the far north of Israel, in the Upper Galilee. It is located less than one kilometre (3,000 feet) from the Blue Line with Lebanon. In 2021, its population was 470.

Yemin Orde (Hebrew: ימין אורד) (Lit: "Orde Memorial") is a youth village near Haifa, Israel named for Orde Wingate.

Ramot Naftali (Hebrew: רָמוֹת נַפְתָּלִי) is a moshav in northern Israel. Located in the Upper Galilee near the Lebanese border, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mevo'ot HaHermon Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 545.The community is named "Ramot Naftali" (hills of Naftali) because it is located in the Naftali Mountains, which was originally in the land owned by the Tribe of Naphtali.

Al-Nabi Yusha' (Arabic: النبي يوشع was a small Palestinian village in the Galilee situated 17 kilometers to the northeast of Safad, with an elevation of 375 meters above sea level. It was part of the French mandate of Lebanon but was then later transferred and became part of the Palestine Mandate under British control from 1923 until 1948, when it was depopulated during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. The village was surrounded by forest land overlooking the Hula Valley.

Metzudat Koach (Hebrew: מצודת כ"ח) (also Nabi Yusha fort) is a British Mandate police fort built during the 1936–39 Arab revolt in Palestine. On the grounds of the fort are a memorial monument and a museum founded in 2014. The Metzudat Koach Memorial commemorates 28 Israeli soldiers who fell in battle during the conquest of the fort in 1948. Metzudat Koah is located in the Upper Galilee near the ruins of Al-Nabi Yusha' a Palestinian village depopulated by Israeli forces in 1948. The Shia shrine of Nabi Yusha ("Prophet Joshua") remains largely intact. Metzudat Koach is listed as part of the Israel National Trail.

Yiftah (Hebrew: יִפְתָּח, lit. 'He will open') is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located near the Lebanese border and Kiryat Shmona, it falls under the jurisdiction of Upper Galilee Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 607.

Tegart's Wall was a barbed wire fence erected in May–June 1938 by British Mandatory authorities in the Upper Galilee near the northern border of the territory in order to keep militants from infiltrating from French-controlled Mandatory Lebanon and Syria to join the 1936–1939 Arab revolt in Palestine. With time the security system further included police forts, smaller pillbox-type fortified positions, and mounted police squads patrolling along it. It was described as an "ingenious solution for handling terrorism in Mandatory Palestine."

Alma (Arabic: علما) was a Palestinian Arab village in the Safad Subdistrict, Mandatory Palestine. It was depopulated during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War on October 30, 1948, during Operation Hiram. It was located 10 km north of Safad. In 1945 it had a population of 950.
