Micco is a census-designated place (CDP) in Brevard County, Florida. The population was 9,052 at the 2010 United States Census. It is part of the Palm Bay–Melbourne–Titusville Metropolitan Statistical Area.

WBFT-LP (105.5 FM) was a radio station licensed to Micco, Florida, United States. The station was owned by the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners.Along with Space Coast Government Television, and WBCC, the low power FM radio station was used by Brevard County officials to broadcast information in the event of an emergency. During times of non-emergency, the station broadcast either a simulcast of SCGTV audio, National Weather Service NOAA Weather Radio audio, or FEMA Public Service Announcements.This station was originally funded via federal grant money for capital equipment cost with the operational expenses paid for by Brevard County. A basic radio studio was installed inside the Brevard County EOC in Rockledge with control & editing equipment to support the station. The station was placed on-air in 2004 immediately prior to Hurricane Charley due to the efforts of Sharon Luba, Space Coast Government Television, Ray Kassis, WWBC/WMIE and Eric Conklin, Brevard County Emergency Management. The station served the population of Grant, Micco, Barefoot Bay, Valkaria, Southern Palm Bay, and the South Brevard beaches to the south Melbourne Beach boundary. The station's signal did reach the communities of Sebastian and Roseland in northern Indian River County, and an informal cooperative agreement was in place between Brevard and Indian River County to transmit emergency information for Indian River County Emergency Management should the need arise. The station permanently left the air as of September 15, 2010, due to fiscal expenditure reductions by the Board of County Commissioners scheduled to take place in the FY 2011 County budget. The broadcast station license was returned to the FCC for cancellation.

The Bensen House, sometimes called the 1916 House or the Grant Historical House, is a historic U.S. home located at 5795 U.S. Route 1, Grant, Florida. The house was built in 1916 by Atley Bensen for his wife Clara. It now serves as a house museum and the home for the Grant Historical Society.

WROK-FM (95.9 MHz, "The Rocket") is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Sebastian, Florida, serving the Space Coast and Treasure Coast areas. The station is owned by Cumulus Media and airs a classic rock format. WROK-FM has its studios and offices on West Hibiscus Blvd in Melbourne. The transmitter is off Micco Road near Sebastian. The station has a construction permit from the Federal Communications Commission to increase its antenna height while slightly decreasing its effective radiated power. WROK-FM is not associated with WROK (AM) in Rockford, Illinois, which is owned by Townsquare Media.

The Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge is part of the United States National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) System, located along a twenty-mile (30 km) section of coastline from Melbourne Beach to Wabasso Beach, Florida, along State Road A1A. The 900 acre (3.6 km2) refuge was established in 1991, to protect the loggerhead and green sea turtles.

The Jorgensen's General Store is a historic site in Grant-Valkaria, Florida. It is located at 5390 U.S. 1. It was operated by brothers Atley and Adolph Benson, members of a pioneer family of Grant. On June 25, 1999, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Roseland is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Indian River County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,472 at the 2010 census, down from 1,775 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Sebastian–Vero Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Floridana Beach is an unincorporated community in Brevard County, Florida, United States. It is located on a barrier island southeast of the city of Melbourne and east of the town of Grant-Valkaria. It is just south of the unincorporated community of Melbourne Shores, and north of the unincorporated community of Sunnyland Beach.The community is part of the Palm Bay–Melbourne–Titusville Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Archie Smith Wholesale Fish Company is a historic site in Sebastian, Florida, United States. It is located at 1740 Indian River Drive. On October 28, 1994, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.The building was built in 1926 and purchased by Archie Smith in 1927, who established a fishing business there. The site included an expanded house, a shed for net storage, a crab house, a fish house, and extensive docks. The business office was built in 1927, and the ice house (originally Old Roseland Railroad Depot) was built in 1931.The business remained in the family until the 2004 hurricanes (especially Frances & Jeanne) caused significant damages to the site. In 2006, the Indian River County Board of Commissioners paid $1.5 million to purchase the property, in hopes of restoring the building and preserving it.In late 2021, the floor of the ice house caved-in, and it was taken down by the county in March 2022.

Grant-Valkaria is a town in Brevard County, Florida. It is part of the Palm Bay–Melbourne–Titusville Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town's population was 4,509 as of 2020.

The Sebastian Inlet Bridge is a high concrete bridge. It spans the Indian River outlet which is also referred to as the Sebastian Inlet. It carries State Road A1A between Indian River County and Brevard County. The bridge was built by Cleary Brothers Construction Company, West Palm Beach, Florida, and was completed in 1964. A fishing-walking pier is constructed below the bridge and goes out the inlet along the jetty to the Atlantic. The bridge has a total length of 1,548 feet (472 m) with a main span of 180 feet (55 m). The vertical clearance is 37 feet (11 m). The Legislature of Florida dedicated the bridge to Robert W. Graves in 1965. In 2004 it was dedicated to James H. Pruitt. The bridge was deemed "structurally deficient" by the FDOT, as a result of Hurricane Dorian. Officials recommended the 55-year-old bridge be repaired within six years as of 2019.
