Two bridges link the two city, one vehicular (Fridolinsbrücke) and the other, the Holzbrücke pedestrian bridge. The Stein-Säckingen railway station is located in Stein.

Holzbrücke Bad Säckingen (German name) or Säckingerbrücke (Swiss name) is a bridge over the Rhine. It connects the German city of Bad Säckingen with the village Stein in Switzerland. The covered bridge spans 203.7 metres (668 ft) over the Hochrhein and is the longest roofed wooden bridge in Europe. The bridge is listed as a national registered monument in Switzerland (Kulturgut von nationaler Bedeutung im Kanton Aargau). The bridge was built in 1272 and was destroyed several times (1570, 1633, 1678). The current bridge was completed in 1700. Originally a road bridge, the bridge is now only open for pedestrians since the Fridolinsbrücke (Swiss name: Rheinbrücke Stein) was opened in 1979 for road traffic.

The Möhlintal is a 10-kilometre long valley running between Möhlin and Wegenstetten in the Rheinfelden district of Canton Aargau, Switzerland. The five municipalities in the valley (Möhlin, Zeiningen, Zuzgen, Hellikon and Wegenstetten) have a total population of around 14,000 people. The upper part of the valley is also known as the "Wegenstettertal". This name was particularly used by associations and groups related to the upper Möhlintal municipalities. In Habsburg times the area was known as Landschaft (territory) Möhlinbach. The valley was also sometimes known as the "Chläfflital". The official name of the valley given by Canton Aargau is "Möhlintal".

Säckingen Abbey is a former Roman Catholic abbey located in Bad Säckingen, Baden-Württemberg in Germany. The Abbey was founded in the 6th or 7th century by Fridolin of Säckingen, an Irish monk. While the Abbey had both monks and nuns, only the nuns' convent grew to be an important religious, economic and cultural institution for the entire upper Rhine.

Bad Säckingen station (German: Bahnhof Bad Säckingen) is a railway station in the town of Bad Säckingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The station lies on the High Rhine Railway and the train services are operated by Deutsche Bahn. The station was formerly located on the Wehra Valley Railway to Schopfheim. Passenger service over that line ended in 1971, and the line itself was abandoned in 1994.

Mumpf railway station (German: Bahnhof Mumpf) is a railway station in the municipality of Mumpf, in the Swiss canton of Aargau. It is an intermediate stop on the Bözberg line and is served by local trains only.
