Rock Spring is an unincorporated community and census-designated place located in northwest Georgia, United States, approximately 14 miles (23 km) south of Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is in Walker County which resides in Georgia's 14th congressional district. Rock Spring is included in the Chattanooga, TN-GA Metropolitan Statistical Area. The 2020 Census listed a population of 891.

Walker County is a county located in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 67,654, down from 68,756 in 2010. The county seat is LaFayette. The county was created on December 18, 1833, from land formerly belonging to the Cherokee Indian Nation. Walker County is part of the Chattanooga TN/GA Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Marsh-Warthen House in Lafayette, Georgia is a historic Greek Revival house that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is open as a historic house museum and events venue, and is owned by the government of Walker County, Georgia. The house was built c.1836 and expanded c. 1895–1910. Colonial Revival modifications were done c.1935.

The Chattooga Academy, also known as John B. Gordon Hall, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.It is a two-story red brick Federal-style building. It was the site of the Battle of LaFayette during the American Civil War.It had 15 boys and 37 girls as students in 1838; students boarded in the homes of families nearby. Confederate general John B. Gordon (1832-1904) was an early student.

LaFayette ( luh-FAY-et) is a city in, and the county seat of, Walker County, Georgia, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 6,888. It was founded as Chattooga. LaFayette is part of the Chattanooga, TN-GA Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Walker County Courthouse in LaFayette, Georgia was built in 1917 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was designed with Beaux-Arts architecture by architect Charles E. Bearden. It is a three-story, rectangular courthouse built of cream brick. It has multiple pairs of "colossal" Tuscan order columns running up the second and third stories, alternating with triple windows. Its entablature has triglyphs and metopes. It is described in its National Register nomination as having a Beaux Arts/Renaissance Revival design: "It is not a pure design but is adapted and is Renaissance Revival more in massing and long horizontal lines rather than specific details."Its interior features oak millwork that is especially noteworthy. Its courtroom is "unusually spacious; the woodwork, the deeply recessed ceiling squares, the retention of early light fixtures blend to create a sophisticated statement."It was listed on the National Register in 1980.Bearden, an architect based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, also designed the NRHP-listed Richard Hardy Memorial School in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.

Crawfish Creek is a stream in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is a tributary to West Chickamauga Creek. Crawfish Creek received its name from the Cherokee Indians of the area, who saw crayfish in its water. A variant name is "Crayfish Creek".

The Lane House, also known as the Richard Lane House, near Kensington, Georgia is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.It is a Gothic Revival-style house built c.1855-1859.It is also a contributing building in the McLemore Cove Historic District.

Barwick–LaFayette Airport (FAA LID: 9A5) is a city-owned, public-use airport located one nautical mile (2 km) south of the central business district of LaFayette, a city in Walker County, Georgia, United States. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation facility.Original construction of the airport was funded by ET Barwick Mills, a major carpet manufacturer of the 1960s and 1970s which operated facilities in and around LaFayette.

Estelle is an unincorporated community in Walker County, in the U.S. state of Georgia.

The Chickamauga Lodge No. 221, Free and Accepted Masons, Prince Hall Affiliate, also known as Chickamauga Masonic Lodge No. 221, was built in 1924. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. It is a two-story 20 feet (6.1 m) tall, 24 feet (7.3 m) wide, 36 feet (11 m) deep building with a wood-frame structure set on a foundation of cement blocks, brick and rocks. It was built by members during 1921–1924. As of 2006, it had been covered with red rolled asphalt siding since 1952. The NRHP nomination noted that the asphalt siding preserved the building and was installed during the NRHP-eligible historic period (i.e. more than 50 years before the NRHP listing date). However, the April 2011 photo (shown here) shows that the asphalt siding had been removed. As of 2006 the lodge continued to be an active lodge. It has original wooden handcrafted lodge furnishings used for ceremonial meetings.
