Lambertseter Church

Munkelia is the second last station on Lambertseter Line of the Oslo Metro, between Lambertseter and Bergkrystallen, 10.0 km (6.2 mi) from Stortinget. The station is served by Lines 1 and 4. The station is located just north of the entrance of one of the few tunnels on this subway line. The entrance to the two platforms is to the south. The station was opened 22 May 1966. Guttorm Bruskeland was the architect [1].

The pitch surrounded by a running track, Lambertseter stadion was used as the main track and field stadium in Oslo while Bislett stadion was renovated in 2004. The stadium has a small clubhouse/changing area, and some good floodlights. There is no seating, and only a small area of terracing along one side of the ground.

Bergkrystallen is the end station on the Lambertseter Line, after Munkelia, of the Oslo Metro. It is located in the Nordstrand borough. Bergkrystallen is a road just north of the station. The area is mainly residential. Originally it was planned to extend the Lambertseter Line to Mortensrud, but the Østensjø Line was extended instead. The station is served by Line 4. Bergkrystallen was opened as the end stop of the Lambertseter tram line in 1957, it was upgraded to a subway station in 1966. Although the subway system was formally opened by the king at Jernbanetorget on 22 May 1966, the king and mayor travelled the line to Bergkrystallen where there was a ceremonial bouquet presentation in front of a large audience.The building of more residential apartments on the station has met local resistance. In 2007, a proposal was made to build some terraced housing and a kindergarten on the station.

Abildsø () is a neighborhood in the borough Østensjø in Oslo, Norway. It is located south of Manglerud and Ryen, east of Lambertseter, north of Langerud and east of Bøler the lake Østensjøvannet. During the late 1800s, Abildsø was the site of Minna og Frederik Husgjerningsskole, a school for young farm girls. The school was operated by education pioneer, Minna Wetlesen and her husband Frederik Wetlesen

Karlsrud is a station on Lambertseter Line (line 4) of the Oslo Metro, on the north side of Lambertseter. The station is between Brattlikollen and Lambertseter, 8.6 kilometers (5.3 mi) from Stortinget. The station was opened on 28 April 1957 as a tramway and 22 May 1966 as a metro. The station's architect was Guttorm Bruskeland.

Nordstrand Church is a church in Oslo, Norway. The church was consecrated in 1866 as Østre Aker Chapel and was later renamed Sæter Chapel. In 1905 the Nordstrand congregation was established, and the following year the church changed its name again to Nordstrand Church. The church was built in red brick in neo-Gothic style by architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. In 1886 a sacristy was added, and in 1935 it was extended and given a new church tower to the west, drawn by architect Georg Greve. The last and largest expansion took place in 2014 to 2015. Then the church was extended 26 meters to the east and the church congregation got new facilities in the basement. The number of seats in the church room was increased from approx. 300 to 480. Architects for the remodeling work were Are Meinich and Trine-Lise Sonne. The church was reconsecrated on Sunday, August 23, 2015, by bishop of Oslo Ole Christian Kvarme.The church is surrounded by a cemetery.The Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage has listed Nordstrand Church as a church site, and approved the recent renovations and extensions.

Nordstrand (pronounced [ˈnûːʂʈrɑn]) is a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway. It borders Gamle Oslo in the north, Østensjø in the east and Søndre Nordstrand in the south. The borough is located in the southern part of the city and with a population of 52,459 people as of 2020. In 2004, Nordstrand was merged with two other boroughs, Lambertseter and Ekeberg-Bekkelaget, to form what is today known simply as Nordstrand. Sæter is a light rail tram stop on the Oslo Tramway. Located at Nordstrand, it was the terminus of the Ekeberg Line when it was opened in 1917 by AS Ekebergbanen in cooperation with Kristiania Sporveisselskab. In 1941 the Ekeberg Line was extended to Ljabru, the current terminus. Until 1967, the stretch between Sæter and Ljabru was the only single track rail in Oslo.Sæter is a key word in John Buchan's novel "The Three Hostages".

Ljabru is a light rail tram stop on the Oslo Tramway. Located at Ljabru in Nordstrand, it is the current terminus of the Ekeberg Line. It was opened on 17 September 1941 as an extension of that line from Sæter. Until 1967, the stretch between Sæter and Ljabru was the only single track rail in Oslo. A bridge that is located between Ljabru and Sæter was still single track until it was expanded in 2014. This was the last part of the tramway network to be upgraded to double track.

Brattlikollen is a station on Lambertseter Line (Line 4) of the Oslo Metro. The station is between Ryen and Karlsrud, 7.8 km (4.8 mi) from Stortinget. The station was opened on 28 April 1957 as a tramway and on 22 May 1966 as a metro. The station's architect was Edgar Smith Berentsen.The station is on the south side of Brannfjell. The neighborhood around the station is mainly residential with a mixture of detached houses and apartment buildings. Access to the station is from the local road Sandstuveien which passes below the line immediately south of the station.
