Rosedale Center, commonly known just as Rosedale, is a shopping center in Roseville, Minnesota. The mall is surrounded by suburbs and close to major highways and serves a trade area population almost 2 million people, and boasts 14 million visitors annually.The mall's anchor stores are Macy's, AMC Theatres, DSW, Rocco Altobelli, Evereve, Carter's, Loft, Williams Sonoma, JoS. A. Bank, Talbots, Von Maur, Becker Furniture World, JCPenney, and SeaQuest. There is 1 vacant anchor store that was once Herberger's. This anchor is being redeveloped into a new flagship store for Dick's Sporting Goods.

Minneapolis Business College (MBC) was a for-profit career college in Roseville, Minnesota. It was founded in 1874 and moved to its current suburban location in 1983. It had nearby housing for students but over half of students came from the immediate Twin Cities area. MBC awarded diplomas and associate degrees. It closed in December 2019.

Snelling & County Road B is a bus rapid transit station on the A Line in Roseville, Minnesota. The station is located at the intersection of County Road B with Snelling Avenue. The southbound station platform is southwest of County Road B, while the northbound station platform is located between County Road B and the entrance road to Har Mar Mall. Buses approaching the station will announce "This stop for Har Mar Mall." The station opened June 11, 2016 with the rest of the A Line.

Har Mar Mall comprises over 430,000 square feet (40,000 m2) of retail space and the mall's anchor stores are Famous Footwear, Michaels, HomeGoods, Barnes & Noble, Staples, K&G Fashion Superstore, Burlington, Cub Foods, H&R Block, Tuesday Morning, Marshalls, David's Bridal, Painting with a Twist, Sport Clips, Waxing the City, Elements Massage, and Best Buy Mobile. The mall contains 45 tenants. Opened in 1963 and expanded several times since, it is one of two enclosed malls in Roseville; the other is Rosedale Center. Despite being a relatively small shopping center, Har Mar Mall remains open. It was constructed by Robert W. Fendler of Fendler Patterson and is owned and managed by the Vanbarton Group and Varbarton Services respectively.

The Guidant John Rose Minnesota Oval (officially stylized as OVAL), formerly the John Rose Minnesota Oval, is an outdoor ice rink in Roseville, Minnesota, United States. It is claimed to be the largest artificial outdoor skating surface in North America. The facility was constructed from June to December 1993. It was the subject of a $3.9 million renovation project which was set to be completed before the opening of the rink's 29th season on November 18, 2022. It is the home of bandy in the United States and is used by the United States men's national bandy team and the United States women's national bandy team.

Reynolds Field is a 1,500-seat multi-purpose stadium in Roseville, Minnesota, United States. It is home to the University of Northwestern – St. Paul Eagles. The facility was dedicated in honor of long-time coach Chub Reynolds in September 1990. The stadium was rebuilt in 2014.

Falcon Heights is a suburb of Saint Paul and a city in Ramsey County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 5,321 at the 2010 census. It became a village in 1949 and a city in 1973.Falcon Heights is the home of the University of Minnesota's St. Paul Campus; the Gabbert Raptor Center and Les Bolstad Golf Course, the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, and the Gibbs Museum of Pioneer and Dakotah Life. Its University Grove neighborhood is known for its modern architecture.

On July 6, 2016, Philando Castile, a 32-year-old African American man, was fatally shot during a traffic stop by police officer Jeronimo Yanez of the St. Anthony police department in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area. Castile was driving with his girlfriend, Diamond Reynolds, and her four-year-old daughter when at 9:00 p.m. he was pulled over by Yanez and another officer in Falcon Heights, a suburb of Saint Paul, Minnesota. After being asked for his license and registration, Castile told Officer Yanez that he had a firearm (Castile was licensed to carry), to which Yanez replied, "Don't reach for it then". Castile responded "I'm, I, I was reaching for...", to which Yanez replied "Don't pull it out". Castile then replied "I'm not pulling it out", and Reynolds said "He's not...". Yanez again repeated "Don't pull it out". Yanez then proceeded to fire seven close-range shots at Castile, hitting him five times. Castile died of his wounds at 9:37 p.m. at Hennepin County Medical Center, about 20 minutes after being shot.In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, Reynolds posted a live stream video on Facebook from her and Castile's car. The incident quickly gained international interest. Local and national protests formed, and five months after the incident, Yanez was charged with second-degree manslaughter and two counts of dangerous discharge of a firearm. After five days of deliberation, he was acquitted of all charges in a jury trial on June 16, 2017. After the verdict, Yanez was immediately fired by the City of Saint Anthony. Wrongful death lawsuits against the City brought by Reynolds and Castile's family were settled for a total of $3.8 million.
