The Minnesota State Lottery, or Minnesota Lottery, is a government agency that operates lotteries in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The state’s lottery system was established in 1988 through a successful voter referendum that amended the state’s constitution. Lottery revenue is paid out towards prizes, administrative expenses, and retailers, and the remaining proceeds are split between environmental conservation funds and the state's general fund. The Minnesota Lottery participates in the Multi-State Lottery Association and several other multi-jurisdiction games. In-house draws include Daily 3, Gopher 5, and Northstar Cash, among many other games and offerings.Over the three decades since its first game debuted on April 17, 1990, expansion and management of the lottery has resulted in controversy. In the early 1990s, the Minnesota State Lottery partnered with a technology company to develop a lottery cartridge for a modem-equipped Nintendo Entertainment System but had to cancel a test run of an in-home lottery system after political pushback. A corruption probe in the early 2000s effectively ended with the suicides of a long-time director and a public relations contractor, and mismanagement of the lottery agency led to the ouster of several top executives in the 2010s. The lottery posted its record level of sales in the fiscal year 2020 period at $668.6 million. The lottery has been criticized for relying disproportionately on sales to people with below-average incomes and operating with a lack of oversight.

Rosedale Center, commonly known just as Rosedale, is a shopping center in Roseville, Minnesota. The mall is surrounded by suburbs and close to major highways and serves a trade area population almost 2 million people, and boasts 14 million visitors annually.The mall's anchor stores are Macy's, AMC Theatres, DSW, Rocco Altobelli, Evereve, Carter's, Loft, Williams Sonoma, JoS. A. Bank, Talbots, Von Maur, Becker Furniture World, JCPenney, and SeaQuest. There is 1 vacant anchor store that was once Herberger's. This anchor is being redeveloped into a new flagship store for Dick's Sporting Goods.

Minneapolis Business College (MBC) was a for-profit career college in Roseville, Minnesota. It was founded in 1874 and moved to its current suburban location in 1983. It had nearby housing for students but over half of students came from the immediate Twin Cities area. MBC awarded diplomas and associate degrees. It closed in December 2019.

Old Dutch Foods Inc. is a manufacturer of potato chips and other snack foods in the Midwestern United States, New England and Canada. Their product line includes brands such as Old Dutch Potato Chips, Dutch Crunch, Ripples, Cheese Pleesers and Restaurante Style Tortilla Chips.

Rosedale Transit Center is a transit center in the Saint Paul suburb of Roseville, Minnesota. The transit center is named after the adjacent shopping mall, Rosedale Center. Rosedale Transit Center is the northern terminus for the Metro A Line, a bus rapid transit line serving Saint Paul and south Minneapolis. The site is leased to Metro Transit by the mall, and includes an indoor waiting area, real-time information, and ticket vending machines. The transit center also provides timed transfers to eight local bus routes.

KUOM (770 AM) – branded Radio K – is a daytime-only non-commercial educational college/alternative rock radio station licensed to serve Minneapolis, Minnesota. KUOM covers the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area, and extends its reach with two low-power broadcast relay stations and one full-power repeater. Owned by the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, the station is operated by both faculty and students. The KUOM studios are located at the Rarig Center on the University of Minnesota campus, while the station transmitter is in Falcon Heights. Besides a standard analog transmission, KUOM is also available online. KUOM's AM signal operates with a non-directional antenna located on the St. Paul/Falcon Heights campus. Due to its 770 kHz frequency located low on the band combined with the region's flat terrain and excellent soil conductivity, the station's AM coverage is comparable to that of a full-power FM station, thus 770 can be heard throughout the Twin Cities area, with grade B coverage in St. Cloud and Mankato. However, the AM is licensed to operate during daylight hours only in order to protect WABC in New York at night. The hours of operation vary from month to month, reflecting local sunrise and sunset times, with the day's sign on and signoff changing from month to month; signoff, for example, ranges from 4:30 p.m. in winter to 9:00 p.m. in summer. KUOM's first broadcasting station license, as WLB, was granted on January 13, 1922. This was Minnesota's first broadcast station license, making KUOM one of the oldest radio stations in the United States. In addition, the university traces its radio activities back more than 100 years, starting with experimental work in 1912, followed by radiotelegraph broadcasts begun in 1920, and radiotelephone broadcasts of market reports inaugurated in February 1921, making KUOM one of the oldest surviving radio stations in North America.

KBEM-FM (88.5 FM, "Jazz88") is a Minneapolis, Minnesota public radio station broadcasting a jazz format. The station is operated by the Minneapolis public school system and has been partnering since 1989 with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT), providing traffic congestion reports for commuters in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. KBEM also broadcasts live headliner performances from the Twin Cities Jazz Festival each June. KBEM is a member of Minnesota's AMPERS network. KBEM's studios are located on James Avenue North in Minneapolis, while its transmitter is located in Falcon Heights.

Snelling & County Road B is a bus rapid transit station on the A Line in Roseville, Minnesota. The station is located at the intersection of County Road B with Snelling Avenue. The southbound station platform is southwest of County Road B, while the northbound station platform is located between County Road B and the entrance road to Har Mar Mall. Buses approaching the station will announce "This stop for Har Mar Mall." The station opened June 11, 2016 with the rest of the A Line.

Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium is located in Falcon Heights on the Saint Paul campus of the University of Minnesota. It is primarily used as the home of the Minnesota Golden Gophers women's soccer team. The stadium opened in 1999 and seats 1,000.The stadium is named after Elizabeth Lyle Robbie, who was the wife of Joe Robbie, former owner of the Miami Dolphins. The Robbie family was originally from South Dakota, but lived a number of years in Minneapolis. Elizabeth was the first female owner of a professional sports franchise in the United States, as she owned the Miami Toros / Minnesota Strikers soccer team in the 1970s and 1980s.Prior to Robbie Stadium, the school played home games from 1993 to 1998 at the St. Paul Campus Soccer Field, also located in Falcon Heights.

Reynolds Field is a 1,500-seat multi-purpose stadium in Roseville, Minnesota, United States. It is home to the University of Northwestern – St. Paul Eagles. The facility was dedicated in honor of long-time coach Chub Reynolds in September 1990. The stadium was rebuilt in 2014.

The Gibbs Farm is a museum in Falcon Heights, Minnesota, United States. The site was once the farmstead of Heman Gibbs and Jane DeBow, first built in 1854; the existing farmhouse includes the small, original cabin. The museum seeks to educate visitors on the lives of 19th-century Minnesota pioneers and the Dakota people who lived in southern Minnesota before the arrival of Europeans. In 1974 the farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The listing consists of the farmhouse and barn, as the other museum structures are not original to the site.

Har Mar Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Roseville, Minnesota, United States, a suburb of the Twin Cities. Har Mar Mall comprises over 430,000 square feet (40,000 m2) of retail space and the mall's anchor stores are Famous Footwear, Michaels, HomeGoods, Barnes & Noble, Staples, K&G Fashion Superstore, Burlington, Cub Foods, H&R Block, Tuesday Morning, Marshalls, David's Bridal, Painting with a Twist, Sport Clips, Waxing the City, Elements Massage, and Best Buy Mobile. The mall contains 45 tenants. Opened in 1963 and expanded several times since, it is one of two enclosed malls in Roseville; the other is Rosedale Center. Despite being a relatively small shopping center, Har Mar Mall remains open. It was constructed by Robert W. Fendler of Fendler Patterson and is owned and managed by the Vanbarton Group and Varbarton Services respectively.
