The St. Joseph's Church (Arabic: كنيسة القديس يوسف), also alternatively called "Latin Church of Jabal Amman", is a religious building belonging to the Catholic Church in Amman, the capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. As its name suggests, the church is dedicated to Joseph of Nazareth. It is one of the parishes under the responsibility of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem (Patriarcha Hierosolymitanus Latinorum). In 2015 the church not only lent religious services but served to house refugees who fled the war in Iraq. This initiative also adopted more than 40 churches around the country, just after King Abdullah II of Jordan extended an invitation to Iraqi Christians to come to Jordan, and the Vatican announced the approval of funds to help them.

The Embassy of the United States in Amman is the diplomatic mission of the United States of America in Jordan. Located in the Abdoun neighborhood, it plays a crucial role in maintaining bilateral relations between the two countries, focusing on areas such as political, economic, and cultural cooperation. The embassy was established following the United States' recognition of Jordan's independence in 1949.

The Embassy of the Philippines in Amman is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of the Philippines to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. It is located in the neighborhood of Sweifieh in the Wadi Al-Seer district of western Amman. Although the current embassy dates from 1998, the Philippines also maintained a previous resident embassy in Jordan between 1980 and 1993.

Abdoun is a residential area of Amman, Jordan. Abdoun is considered by many to be the most affluent district of the city, and is located towards the south of the city. Some of Jordan's most expensive real estate is located in the district. Abdoun Circle is surrounded by numerous restaurants, cafés, and stalls, and is a popular spot among Amman's youth. Abdoun Mall, the first mall to open in Amman at the time of its opening, is also located in the district. Abdoun is neighbored by the districts of Deir Ghbar, Sweifieh, Jabal Al-Akhdar, Al-Hilal, Al-Yasmin, and Jabal Amman. The Abdoun Bridge connects the 4th Circle in Jabal Amman to the Abdoun Circle and a highway continues through Abdoun and into south Amman.

Sweifieh (also spelled Swéfiéh and Al Swefiéh) is an upscale neighborhood located in the western Part of the Jordanian capital Amman. It is in the Wadi as-Ser district. It is bordered by the neighborhoods Abdoun, Deir Ghbar, and Um Uthaina.

Arab Medical Center (AMC) is a community hospital located in Amman, Jordan. Initially established in 1994, as a center for cardiac excellence and specialty surgery, the AMC now caters for the majority of medical and surgical services both for adults and pediatric patients. In November 2019, the hospital celebrated its Silver Jubilee (25 years of operations), with a massive marketing campaign that involved room renovations, introduction of the new Cath. Lab, and the introduction of two new digital systems for patients complaints and patients satisfaction survey, among other activities.

Zahran is an area in the Greater Amman Municipality. It is named after the Zahran Palace which stands amidst Zahran street. It consists of 5 neighborhoods of which most parts are residential, however, some parts of the district contain Amman's best hotels, hospitals and towers. The district is also home to several governmental buildings, embassies, cultural centers and schools. Zahran area stretches from 1st circle to between 5th and 6th circles, and from North Abdoun to South Abdoun.

The Modern American School (Arabic: المدرسة الامريكية الحديثة) is an American private international, co-educational school based in Amman, Jordan. Founded in 1986, the school provides primary, middle, and secondary education for students from 3 to 18 years. The school is made up of students from over 52 different nationalities including Jordanians, other Arabs, and Non-Arab nationalities; approximately 30% of the staff being non-Jordanian from over 27 different countries.Graduates of the school have gone on to attend Harvard University, Yale University, University of Pennsylvania, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Glasgow, London School of Economics, University of Toronto, and the Heidelberg University as well as other pursuits.

Jordan Gate Towers (Arabic: أبراج بوابة الأردن), also known informally as 6th Circle Towers (Arabic: أبراج الدوار السادس), are a high class commercial and residential project currently under construction in Amman, Jordan, it consists of two high-rise buildings connected by a multi-storey podium. Since it's start in 2005, the project went through years of suspension due to financial issues between the owner and contractor following the 2007-2008 financial crisis, in addition to many incidents. Construction works resumed in January 2023.

Wadi Abdoun Bridge or the Kamal Al-Shair Bridge is a bridge in Amman, Jordan. The only cable-stayed bridge in the country, it crosses the Wadi Abdoun. The building of the bridge commenced on 14 December 2002, and it was opened on 14 December 2006 and was built by Larsen & Toubro Limited, an Indian multinational company. It is part of Amman's Beltway project and links South Amman to the 4th Circle and Zahran Street.The main problem about this bridge is the number of suicidal cases since the bridge has opened exceeds 70 cases. Which the punishment for in Jordan is either a fine of 100 Jordanian dinars or an imprisonment sentence of 6 months.

Jordan Investment Commission (JIC), previously Jordan Investment Board, is the national investment promotion agency of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
