The Sheedy Mansion and its accompanying carriage house is a historic residence located at 1115-1121 Grant St. in Denver, Colorado. It was built in 1892 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Located in the city and county of Denver, Colorado, the Capitol Hill neighborhood is bordered by Broadway, Downing Street, Colfax Avenue, and Seventh Avenue, which carry large volumes of traffic around the neighborhood. It is technically located in East Denver which begins immediately east of Broadway, the neighborhood's western boundary. Many consider the Cheesman Park neighborhood to be a part of the Capitol Hill neighborhood, but as defined by the city , Cheesman Park is a separate neighborhood. Denver also recognizes a statistical neighborhood called North Capitol Hill, also known as Uptown by some residents. Colfax Avenue is the border between these two neighborhoods.

The Peabody-Whitehead mansion is a historic residence located at 1128 Grant Street in Denver, Colorado. The three-story brick mansion was designed in 1889 by architect Frank Edbrooke, designer of Denver’s famous Brown Palace Hotel. The mansion has been listed as a Denver landmark since 1993. The mansion was originally owned by battlefield surgeon and prominent early figure in Denver's medical community Dr. William Riddick Whitehead. In 1903 and 1904, it served as the residence of Colorado Governor James Hamilton Peabody. The media and local residents use the names "Peabody mansion" and "Peabody house" interchangeably to refer to both the Denver mansion and a different historic mansion located in Cañon City. However, James Peabody himself referred to the Cañon City home as the “Peabody House”, while “Peabody Mansion” was the name given to the home in Denver.In 2012, the mansion was featured in an episode of the Travel Channel show Ghost Adventures.

The St. Mark's Parish Church in Denver, Colorado is a historic Episcopal church at 1160 Lincoln Street. It was built in 1889 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.It was designed by architects Lang & Pugh. Up to the early 1950s the church "boasted a castellated tower and turret at the front entry. Due to structural problems the upper story of the tower fell: the turret suffered extensive damage and was removed, with a buttress added in its place for support and aesthetic balance. The architects were Lang and Pugh. Lang was a celebrated architect of the eclectic style in Denver."

The Colburn Hotel, in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, was built in 1925. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020. In 1928 the hotel changed ownership.

The Creswell Mansion, recently renamed the Marijuana Mansion, is a historic mansion located at 1244 Grant Street in Denver, Colorado. It was designed in 1889 by leading Denver architect John J. Huddart. In 1977, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The Crawford Hill Mansion is a historic house located in Denver, Colorado. It was designated on the National Register of Historic Places on September 13, 1990. The French Renaissance Revival-style mansion is made of brick and sandstone with Ionic columns and a mansard roof. The building is 19,000 square feet.The house was built by Crawford Hill and his wife Louise Sneed Hill in 1906 at the corner of Tenth and Sherman Streets. The Hill family fortune having been made in the smelting industry. Louise Sneed Hill was the reigning head of Denver society who snubbed Jews and Catholics. The mansion was later home to the Jewish Town Club and in 1990 it was restored as law offices for Haddon, Morgan & Foreman. The restoration resolved issues that arose due to years of neglect and previous poor restoration efforts, and prevented the building from being demolished.

The Art Institute of Colorado was a for-profit art and culinary school in Denver, Colorado. It briefly operated as a non-profit institution before it closed in 2018. The school was one of a number of Art Institutes, a franchise of for-profit art colleges with many branches in North America, owned and operated by Education Management Corporation. EDMC owned the college from 1975 until 2017, when, facing significant financial problems and declining enrollment, the company sold the Art Institute of Colorado, along with 30 other Art Institute schools, to Dream Center Education, a Los Angeles–based Pentecostal organization. Dream Center permanently closed 18 Art Institute schools, including the Art Institute of Colorado, at the end of 2018.

The History Colorado Center is a museum in Denver, Colorado, USA dedicated to the history of the state of Colorado. Construction on the $111 million building started on 19 August 2009. The museum opened on 28 April 2012 at 1200 Broadway, one block south of the site of its predecessor, the Colorado History Museum, which closed in 2010. The center is administered by History Colorado, formerly the Colorado Historical Society.

First Baptist Church of Denver is an historic church at 230 E. 14th Avenue-1373 Grant Street in Denver, Colorado. First Baptist Church of Denver ("FBCD") was formally organized in 1864, six years after the city's founding. After serving its community in several places in Denver's downtown, its congregation's current building is located at the intersection of 14th Avenue and Grant Street, directly across from the south steps of the Colorado State Capitol. The church was designed by well-known and prolific Denver architect, G Meredith Musick, who designed the church in the Georgian architectural style. The construction of the church took place between 1935 and 1938 and it was added to the National Register in 2005.The church's mission is to be "a center of activity for Capitol Hill where people of all walks of life and systems of belief can experience conversations rooted in hope and filled with a passion to serve the needs of the broader community".Reflective of FBCD's historic involvement in social justice, the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr. preached from FBCD's pulpit on April 16, 1962.

The Colorado History Museum was a museum in Denver, Colorado, United States dedicated to the history of Colorado. It was at 1300 Broadway in Denver from 1976 to 2010, and was administered by the Colorado Historical Society, now known as History Colorado. It closed on 28 March 2010, and the building was demolished in June to make way for a new Colorado Judicial Complex. The replacement museum, the History Colorado Center, was constructed one block to the south.

The Molly Brown House Museum (also known as House of Lions) is a house in Denver, Colorado, United States that was the home of American philanthropist, activist, and socialite Margaret Brown. Brown. She survived the sinking of the RMS Titanic and was known as the “Heroine of the Titanic” for her service to survivors. She later became known as "The Unsinkable Molly Brown". The museum is her former home and presents exhibits interpreting her life, Victorian Denver and historic preservation. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. It is designated as a Denver Landmark.
