Whittington Tump

Whittington is a small village near Worcester close to Junction 7 of the M5 motorway, bounded by the motorway and the B4084, in the District of Wychavon. In fact the motorway cut through the village, most of it being on the west side but some houses were left on the east side.

Norton is a village in the Wychavon district of Worcestershire, 0.8 miles (1.3 km) from the boundary of the City of Worcester, England. The village sits within the Norton Juxta Kempsey civil parish and is split in two by the M5 motorway, with the original village to the east. The village saw considerable development in 1990s, mainly centred on the large decommissioned military Norton Barracks, which have been converted into apartments. The village is the location of St Peter's Garden Centre and Worcester Cricket Club. Worcester Norton Hockey Club also originates from the village, but now play and train at nearby Nunnery Wood High School, Worcester.

The Croome collection – the archive of the Earls of Coventry – came into public ownership in 2005 as part of the Acceptance in Lieu of Inheritance Tax Scheme, whereby the nation accepts valuable assets to set against tax liabilities. In 2006, after making a case to the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA) for housing the collection, Worcestershire Record Office was identified as its new permanent home. A project is currently underway to catalogue the collection according to the International Standard for Archival Description (ISAD(G), making it fully accessible to the public for the first time. The Croome Collection takes its name from Croome Court in Croome D'Abitot, Worcestershire, the seat of the Coventry family from the 1592 until 1948. It is an internationally significant archive that has been created over hundreds of years by the Coventry family and their estate. The archive includes substantial runs of papers relating to the estates of the family, including plans, rentals, deeds and correspondence. It also includes unique records relating to the building, decoration and furnishing of Croome Court and the creation and development of the parkland surrounding it, which was Lancelot "Capability" Brown's first complete landscape work.

Hatfield is a small hamlet in the district of Wychavon near the city of Worcester, in England. It is surrounded by the villages of Littleworth, Norton, Pirton & Kempsey. A regular bus service operates through the nearby village of Littleworth, allowing riders to travel west into Worcester or east into Pershore. The village is close to junction 7 of the M5 motorway. A Norton-Juxta-Kempsey Church of England First School is located in the bordering village of Littleworth. Places of social interest near Hatfield include the two country pubs which sit between it, 'The Inn' along 'Stonehall Common and 'The Retreat' on the outskirts of Littleworth. Littleworth possess a typical 'Parish Hall', home to children's playgroup sessions and various evening/weekend clubs.

Norton-juxta-Kempsey is a civil parish to the south of Worcester in the United Kingdom. It contains the villages of Norton and Littleworth. The parish has a population of approximately 2,500. As the parish name suggest, it adjoins Kempsey to the west. The local primary school takes the name of the civil parish and is located in Littleworth. The east of the parish contains Worcestershire Parkway railway station. "Juxta" is Latin for "next to, alongside".
