Forest Mill railway station

Kennet is a small former coal-mining village in Clackmannanshire, Scotland. It is located 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) south-east of Clackmannan, by the Kincardine railway line. The village is a conservation area, designated by Clackmannanshire Council.Kennet House, the seat of the Bruces of Kennet, was located to the west of the village (grid reference NS918908). The house was built or rebuilt in the 1790s for the judge Robert Bruce, Lord Kennet. His descendant, the politician and banker Alexander Bruce, established a claim to the forfeited title of Lord Balfour of Burleigh in 1868. The house was demolished in 1967.Between 1905 and 1961 coal was mined at the Brucefield Colliery, located just to the north of Kennet (grid reference NS928913). In 1948, 75,000 tons of coal were extracted. A brickworks on the site continued to operate into the 1960s.

Forestmill (or Forest Mill) is a small hamlet in the county of Clackmannanshire, Scotland. It is situated on the A977 road between Kincardine and Kinross, about 3 miles from the Kincardine end. The Black Devon river runs through it towards the town of Clackmannan. A notable feature on the river within Forestmill is a horseshoe weir. This was built in 1711 by George Sorocold to direct water from the river through a sluice into the mill lade that fed the Gartmorn Dam reservoir. The weir was added to the schedule of British listed monuments in 1972. The nearby Forest Mill railway station served the hamlet from 1850 to 1930. The Scottish poet Michael Bruce taught at the primary school for several months before his death in 1767.The Clackmannanshire Council website shows the hamlet with a population of 55 in 2009, making it the smallest settlement in the county. However, in 2009, initial planning permission was granted for a significant expansion of the village by the Muir Group. A proposal to build over 1,200 houses, shops, hotel and golf course has been agreed by the council, despite some opposition by local residents.

Brucefield is an 18th-century country house in Clackmannanshire, Scotland. It is located 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) east of Clackmannan. The house was largely built in 1724 by Alexander Bruce, younger of Kennet. It was restored in the early 20th century, and is now protected as a Category A listed building.

Gartmorn Dam is an artificial freshwater loch north-east of Alloa, Clackmannanshire, Scotland, UK, built in 1711-12 as a reservoir to supply water to hydraulic machines used in Alloa's mining industry. It was commissioned by John Erskine, 23rd and 6th Earl of Mar, to designs by George Sorocold, and is one of the earliest constructed reservoirs in Scotland.

Tulliallan (Gaelic tulach-aluinn, 'Beautiful knoll') was an estate in Perthshire, Scotland, near to Kincardine, and a parish. The Blackadder lairds of Tulliallan, a branch of the Blackadder border clan, wielded considerable power in the 15th and 16th centuries. The modern Tulliallan Castle is relatively recent, built in 1812-1820 and now the home of the Scottish Police College

Tulliallan Castle is a large house in Kincardine, Fife, Scotland. It is the second structure to have the name, and is a mixture of Gothic and Italian style architecture set amid some 90 acres (36 hectares) of parkland just north of where the Kincardine Bridge spans the Firth of Forth. It has been the home of the Scottish Police College since 1954. On 1 April 2013, Tulliallan Castle became the headquarters of Police Scotland (the newly created national police service for Scotland), but in 2014 the service's headquarters temporarily relocated to nearby Stirling in the former Central Scotland Police HQ.

Clackmannan House, built c. 1815, is an example of Georgian design, stone built and nestled in a secluded setting amidst garden grounds of approximately 1.3 acres. It is a substantial family home with accommodation over three floors. The accommodation comprises a traditional Georgian entrance with large vestibule, expansive reception hallway with period curved staircase, and a formal drawing room reflective of the era. It is a category B listed building.

Clackmannan ( ; Scottish Gaelic: Clach Mhanainn, perhaps meaning "Stone of Manau"), is a small town and civil parish set in the Central Lowlands of Scotland. Situated within the Forth Valley, Clackmannan is 1.8 miles (2.9 km) south-east of Alloa and 3.2 miles (5.1 km) south of Tillicoultry. The town is within the county of Clackmannanshire, of which it was formerly the county town, until Alloa overtook it in size and importance.

Chapelhill Park was a football ground in Clackmannan, Scotland. It was the home ground of Clackmannan F.C. from 1886 until the club folded in 1931.
